Routing Safety Precautions
Alwaysmakesurethefenceonyourrouter table is locked firmly into position before each use.
Neverforce the bit or overloadthe routerbeyondtheexpectationsofthetool.
Besurethatatleast3/4 oftheshanklength isinserted securely in the router collet.
Neverbottomoutthebitinthecollet.Allow 1/8” clearance between bottom of sankand bottom of collet.
Always rout in two ormorepasseswhenlargeamounts of stock must be removed.
Use reducedRPM speeds for larger diameter router bits.

There are two different types of fence
tracks depending upon which model

Leveling the Fence Track
Whentighteningthefence trackmountingbolton Model04010,theT-nut will tightenin theT-track andholdthefence tracksecurely. When tighteningthe fencetrackmounting boltonModel 04100youwillneeda 10mm wrench toholdthe hexnutwhile tighteningthehex boltsecurely.
Placethe fence on the tabletop in its upright positionandallowittohangoverthetable edgeandlieacrossthefrontendofthefence track.Raisethe fencetrackassemblyso that itis positionedflush tothebottom ofthefence asit rests onthetabletop.Witha 10mm wrenchorsockettightenthefrontboltof the fence assembly (Fig. 7).

Mounting the Fence to the Tracks
Slide the¾” hexT-nutfortheextension knob intotheT-slot next to the scales on the fence track (Fig. 8).The extension knobswill threadintothesenutstoholdthe fence inposition. To doso, position theend ofthefenceoverthetrack andlookdirectly downthrough the open slot in the base of the fenceframe andvisuallylineup thehole inthe rectangular T-nut.

The scales on thefence tracks are adjustableforaddedversatilityin positioningthe fence.To adjust the scalesloosen theknurled nut underneath the fence track adjustthe scale andre-tightenthe nut(Fig.10). Youcan usethe scalesas a zero referencepointbyadjustingthescalesto “0”onceyour fenceis set upin your desired positionrelevant to therouter bityou are using. Please note that fence scales are only available on Model 04010. Fence scales are not available for Model 04100.

Centering the Fence to the Table
Slidethefence with thenylonspacer attached into theT-slot onthe left
fence track(Fig.12).Thenylon TheMast-R-Fenceoffersauniquemeans of keepingthe fencecentered onthe table with a nylonbushing. Take the 6mm x 15mm bolt and insert into the 1/2”nylonspacerandthreadononeof the square6mmnuts.Do notthread the square nuton all theway. Slidethe squarenutintothefrontT-slotunder the left end of the fence (Fig. 11). Leave theassemblylooseandapproximately1” in from theend ofthe fence.
Note: Fence Model 04100 does not come with the nylon bushing for centering. Model 04010 is the only fence equipped with this feature.

Fence Model 04010 and Model 04100 are both
