Care and Instructions

This JCM Master Wrench combines the very finest of materials and wrench design to provide you with a tool
which will give you trouble free service under the most adverse field conditions.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS

As with all fine, industrial grade tools, proper use and maintenance will assure a long service life. This
wrench has been designed for ease of cleaning. A light oiling af ter cleaning will reduce friction in the working
parts and protect the metal surfaces.

CLEAN AND LIGHTLY OIL REGULARLY

A light oiling after washing of mechanism is recommended to protect metal surfaces and reduce friction in
pawl and socket mechanisms.

CLEAN AND CHECK PAWL MECHANISM

If pawl is slow in ratcheting or not catching properly, the pawl mechanism should be cleaned. Clean all accu­mulated film from mechanism and oil lightly. A pointed instrument, such as a pencil, can be used to reposi­tion pawl against gear if it is sprung away from gear.
