This symbol determines:the minimumdistance fromlightedobjects. The minimumdistance between light-output and the illuminated surface must be morethan 3 meters.

aftersome minutes.
To prevent fire or shock hazard,do notexpose this applianceto rain or moisture.To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when
bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full performance or mayeven cause damages.
This unitis forindooruse only.Don’t place metal objects or spillliquid inside the unit. Electric shock ormalfunction may result. If aforeign
object enters theunit, immediately disconnect themains power.

Don’t touch the housing with barehands during its
operation.
Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging
andservicing.
Allow the device about10 minutes tocool downbefore replacingthe bulb orstart servicing.Alwaysunplugthe unit when it isnot used fora longer time or before replacing thebulbor startservicing.The electricalinstallation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for
electricaland mechanicalsafety in your country.
Check thatthe available voltageis nothigher than the onestated onthe rear panelof the unit.The powercord should alwaysbe in perfectcondition: switchthe unit immediately offwhen the powercord
is squashedor damaged.
Never letthe power-cord come into contact withother cables!This fixturemust be earthed toin ordercomply with safety regulations.Don’t connectthe unit to any dimmer pack.Alwaysuse an appropriate and certifiedsafety cablewhen installingthe unit.In order toprevent electric shock,do not open the cover. Apartfrom the lampand mains fuse there are no
user serviceableparts inside.

repair a fuse or bypass the fuse holder.

LAMP (RE)PLACEMENT
In case of replacement of the lamp or maintenance, do not open the fixture within 10 minutes until the unit cools down after switching off. Always unplug the unit before servicing! Always use the same type of spare parts (bulbs, fuses, etc.) When
Switchoff theunit and unplug the mains cable.Wait for about10 minutes until theunit hasbeen cooled down.Use a screwdriver to unscrew the 3 screws (marked “A”) that close the
lamp compartment of thefixture.
Tear the lamp socketgently out of the lampcompartment.Unplug the old lamp. Hold the lamp socket while unplugging the lamp
instead ofpulling thecable!
Hold thelamp socketwhile pressing the new lamp gently in thesocket.
Attention! Check the label on the backside of the device or see the technical specifications in this manual to know which lamp should be used. Never install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with higher wattage generate temperatures the device was not designed for. If thedeviceuses a lamp transformer, it will burn dueto currentoverload.
Don’t touch the bulb withbare hands!This drastically shortens the lifespan of thelamp. If you touched the
lamp, cleanit with acloth and alittle denatured alcohol. Wipethe lamp off beforeinstalling.
Put the new lampback inside theunit. Besure thatthe wiresdon’t touch thelamp.Close the lamp compartment withthe screws.For maximum light output it’s important that the lamp is well centered inside the reflector. To do this,
switch the deviceon and adjust thelamp until the lightoutput is maximal. Check the drawing to seewhich are the 3 adjustingpoints (marked “B”) to dothis.

OVERHEAD RIGGING / INSTALLING ON LIGHT STAND
Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper
installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires
extensive experience! Working load limits should be respected, certified installation materials shouldbe used,the installeddevice shouldbe inspected regularlyfor safety.
OVERHEAD RIGGING:
Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging
andservicing.
Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The
fixturemust be fixed
The deviceshould be installed out of reach of people and outside areas where persons maywalk by orbe
seated.
Beforerigging make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10times the device’s
weight.
Alwaysuse a certified safety cable that can hold 12times the weight of the device when installing the unit.
This secondary safety attachment should be installed in a way that no part of the installation can drop more than20cm if the main attachment fails.
The deviceshould bewell fixed; a free-swingingmounting is dangerous andmay notbe considered!Don’t cover anyventilation openingsas this may resultin overheating.The operator hasto make surethat the safety-relatingand machine-technical installations areapproved by
an expertbefore using them forthe first time. The installations shouldbe inspected everyyear by a skilled person tobe sure that safety is still optimal.
INSTALLING ON LIGHTING STAND:
Makesure the area is free fromunwanted persons atall times.Locate the device in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The
fixturemust be fixed
Make sure to install the device on a very stable light stand using the mounting bracket. The hole in the
mounting brackethas adiameter of 13mm.
Adjustthe desiredinclination-angle ofthe deviceand fastenboth knobs very tightly.The deviceshould be well fixed; afree-swinging mountingis dangerousand maynot beconsidered!Don’t cover any ventilation openings as this mayresult inoverheating.The operator hasto make surethat the safety-relatingand machine-technical installations areapproved by
an expertbefore using themfor thefirst time.Theinstallations should be inspected everyyear by askilled person tobe surethat safety is stilloptimal.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Regular breaks during operation are essential to maximize the life of this device as it is not designed for
continualuse.
Do notswitch theunit on and off inshort time intervals asthis reduces thelamp life.The units’ surfacetemperaturemay reachup to 160°C. Don’t touch thehousing with bare-handsduring its
operation.
Alwaysunplug theunit when it is notused fora longer time or beforereplacing the bulbor start servicing.In the event ofserious operating problems,stop using thefixture and contactyour dealerimmediately.Important: Never lookdirectly intothe lightsource!
MAINTENANCE
Makesure the area belowthe installation placeis freefrom unwanted personsduring servicing.Switch off theunit, unplug themains cable and waituntil the unit has been cooleddown.
During inspection thefollowing points should bechecked:
All screws used for installing the device and any of its parts should be tightly fastened and may not be
corroded.
Housings, fixations and installations spots (ceiling, truss, suspensions) should be totally free from any
deformation.
When an opticallens is visibly damaged dueto cracksor deepscratches, it mustbe replaced.The mains cables must be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately when even a
small problem is detected.
In order to protect the device from overheat the cooling fans (if any) and ventilationopenings should be
cleanedmonthly.
The interior ofthe deviceshould be cleaned annuallyusing a vacuum cleaner orair-jet.

The cleaning of internal and external optical lenses and/or mirrors must be carried out periodically to
optimizelight output. Cleaning frequency depends on the environmentin which the fixtureoperates: damp, smoky or particularly dirty surroundings can cause greateraccumulationof dirton theunit’s optics.
Clean with asoft clothusing normalglass cleaningproducts.Always dry the parts carefully.Clean theexternal opticsat leastonce every 30days.Clean theinternal optics at least every 90 days.
Attention: We strongly recommend internal cleaningtobe carried out byqualified personnel!

Afin d’éviter tout risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique, ne pas exposer cet appareil à la pluie ou
l’humidité.
Pour éviterla formation de condensation à l’intérieurde l’appareil, patientez quelques minutes pourlaisser
l’appareil s’adapterà la températureambiante lorsqu’il arrive dans une pièce chauffée après le transport. La condensation empêche l’unité de fonctionner en performance optimale et peut même causer des dommages.
Cetteunité estdestinée à uneutilisation à l’intérieuruniquement.Ne pas insérer d’objet métallique ou verser un liquide dans l’appareil. Risque de choc électrique ou de
dysfonctionnement. Si un corps étranger est introduit dans l’unité, déconnectez immédiatement de la sourced’alimentation.

Assurez-vous que le voltage de la source d’alimentation de la zone dans laquelle vous vous trouvez ne
dépasse pascelui indiquéà l’arrièrede l’appareil.
Le cordond’alimentation doittoujours être en condition parfaite. Mettez immédiatementl’unité horstension
si lecordon estécrasé ouendommagé.
Ne laissezjamais le cordon d’alimentation entrer en contactavec d’autrescâbles !L’appareil doit êtreà la masse selonles règles desécurités.Ne pasconnecter l’unité àun variateur de lumière.Utiliseztoujours lescâblesappropriés etcertifiés lorsquevous installezl’unité.Pour éviter tout choc électrique,ne pas ouvrir l’appareil. En dehors des ampoules et dufusible principal, il
n’y apas depièces pouvantêtre changées parl’utilisateur àl’intérieur.
Nejamais réparerou court-circuiterun fusible.Remplacez systématiquement un fusible endommagé par
un fusiblede mêmetype etspécificationsélectriques !
En cas de problèmes de fonctionnement sérieux, arrêtez toute utilisation de l’appareil et contactez votre
revendeurimmédiatement.
La coqueet leslentilles doivent êtreremplacéessi visiblement endommagées.Utilisezl’emballage d’originesi l’appareildoit êtretransporté.Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est interdit d’apporter toute modification à l’unité non spécifiquement
