INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
* Installation Recommendation: JBA recommends in most cases that the vehicle be taken to a reputable exhaust shop.

2007 Silverado/Sierra 4.8/5.3/6.0L Crew Cab Short Bed
RECOMMENDED TOOLS:
15mm socket
9/16” socket
PARTS LIST:
A. Tailpipe w/ polished tip 1
B. Muffler 1
C. Axle pipe 1
D. Intermediate pipe 1
E. Clamps 2
F. Hanger Clamp 1
TO START:
1. Remove and inventory JBA exhaust.
2. Disconnect negative battery cable
and allow vehicle exhaust to cool.

3. Cut tailpipe behind muffler. Remove
tailpipe assembly from vehicle.
4. Remove nuts attaching muffler
assembly
8. Insert hanger rod into isolator.
9. Connect using factory nuts. Snug
lightly to allow adjustments later
13. Install clamp on muffler inlet.
Tighten securely
14. Install axle pipe, into muffler.
17. Insert hanger rod into rubber
isolator. Position clamp.
18. Align axle pipe and turnout.
Secure intermediate pipe flange,
hanger clamp, and turnout clamp.
19. After installation, it is recommende
that all clamps be re-tightened.
20. Tack weld all slip connections in
three spots.
21. Lower the vehicle and reattach the
negative battery cable.

5. Remove hanger rods from rubber
isolators.
6. Remove muffler assembly from
vehicle
10. Install clamp hanger into rubber
isolators.
11. Slip muffler onto intermediate
pipe. Mark pipe to insure full insertion
15. Align.
16. Install turn out.
NOTES:
1) It may be necessary to loosen and
realign the spare tire for proper
clearance.
2) All exhaust systems will expand abo
1" rearward when exhaust temperatur
start to rise.
3) Use Anti-seize on threads of clamps.

12. Position rear clamp hanger onto
muffler outlet
