INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
* Installation Recommendation: JBA recommends in most cases that the vehicle be taken to a reputable exhaust

15 m m deep s ocket
pair of channel lock pliers
anti-seize
spra y lubricant or penetrating oil
PARTS LIST:
A. Interm ediate pipe 1
B. Muffler 1
C. Tail pipe

E. Front muffler clamp 1
TO STAR T:
1. Remove and inventory JBA exhaust.
2. Disconnect nega tive battery ca ble and allow
vehicle exha ust to cool.
3. With the vehicle raised a nd properly
supported, use a 15mm socket to remove the
bolts tha t a ttach the exhaust s ystem to the
Cata lytic converter.
7. Using original fas teners , connect intermediate
pipe (A) to the factory ca talytic converter pipe.

16 . Align tail pipe (C). tighten clamp (D).
17 . After installation, it is recommended
that a ll cla mps be re-tightened.
18. Tack weld all slip connections in three s
pots.
4. Using a pry bar or a pair of channel lock pl
remove hangers from rubber isolators a t the to
of the m uffler.
5. Using the cha nnel lock pliers, remove the
tail pipe ha nger from the rubbe r is ola tor.
8. Tighten the fasteners.

9. Slip m uffler (B) onto intermedia te pipe (A).
12. Install tailpipe (C).
13 . I nsert tailpipe (C) into m uffle r (B ) .
19 . Lower the vehicle and reattach the negat
battery cable.
NOTES:
1) It may be necessa ry to loosen a nd realign
sparetirefor proper clearance.
2) All exhaust systems will expand about 1"
rearward when exhaus t temperatures
3) UseAnti-seizeon threads of clamps.

6. Remove the original exhaust system from
the vehicle.
14 . Insta ll tail pipe ha nger into fa ctory rubber
isolator.
10 . Insert ha nger rods on the m uffler into the
factory rubber isolators.
15. Install clamp (D) onto rear of muffler (#).
