INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
* Installation Recommendation: JBA recommends in most cases that the vehicle be taken to a reputable exhaust shop.

RECOMMENDED TOOLS:
pry bar
ratchet
15mm deep socket
pair of channel lock pliers
anti-seize
spray lubricant or penetrating oil
TO START:
1. Remove and inventory JBA exhaust.
2. Disconnect negative battery cable
and allow vehicle exhaust to cool.

A. Intermediate pipe 1
B. Muffler 1
C. Over axle pipe 1
D. Tail pipe 1
E. Muffler hanger clamp 1
F. Standard exhaust clamp 4

12. Insert over axle pipe (C) into the
rear of the muffler (B).

3. With the vehicle raised and properly
supported, spray lubricant on all rubber
isolators. Using the pry bar, remove rubber
isolators from muffler hangers.
4. Remove the factory exhaust clamp
located directly behind the catalytic
converter.
8. Insert hangers on muffler hanger
clamp (E) into factory rubber isolators.
9. Slide muffler (B) through muffler
hanger clamp (E). Note: install bolt
for muffler hanger clamp (E) but
do not tighten at this point.
13. Insert rear over axle pipe hanger
into factory rubber isolator.
14. Insert forward over axle pipe hanger
into factory rubber isolator.
17. Install tail pipe (D) and align properly.
18. Install a standard exhaust clamp (F)
where the over axle pipe (C) and tail
pipe (D) meet. Secure.
19. After installation, it is recommende
that all clamps be re-tightened.

5. Remove the tail pipe hanger from
the factory rubber isolator.
6. Remove the factory exhaust system.
7. Install Intermediate pipe (A). Position
pipe properly and secure using standard
exhaust clamp (F).
10. Slip muffler (B) into intermediate
pipe (A). Install standard exhaust
clamp (F) and secure.
11. Install over axle pipe (C) through
the rear of the vehicle.
15. Tighten muffler hanger clamp (E)
bolt (arrow).
16. Install a standard exhaust clamp (F)
at the rear of muffler (B).
20. Tack weld all slip connections in
three spots.
21. Lower the vehicle and reattach the
negative battery cable.
NOTES:
1) It may be necessary to loosen and
realign the spare tire for proper
clearance.
2) All exhaust systems will expand
about 1" rearward when exhaust
temperatures
start to rise.
3) Use Anti-seize on threads of clamps
