Introduction

Thank you for choosing the GE Bluetooth
Sport Headset, model 86711. This innovative
design allows you the freedom to talk on your
phone, and its unique stylish design makes
the headset barely noticeable. The Sport
Headset also comes with a power bank for
On-the-Go charging for your convenience.
Combining the charge capacity of the headset
with the power bank you can have up to 15
hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of
standby time. The Sport Headset is designed
to fit securely in your ear for worry free use;
when you are not using the headset simply
clip it into the power bank to maintain the
charge and for easy access when receiving
a call.

Charging the Headset & Power Bank

Note: There may be some charge on the headset and the power
bank; you will still need to charge the batteries before using the
headset or the power bank. On the initial charge, charge the
Headset and Power Bank for at least 16 hours. The power bank can

be charged by its self.

• Place the headset into the power bank
with the contacts facing each other.

• Plug the AC charging adapter into the DC
power port on the power bank

• The blue LED will illuminate to indicate
the charging has started.

• During charging, the blue LED light will
remain on, when the charging is com-

plete; the blue LED light will be off.

Charging the Power Bank

1. Plug the round barrel connector into the
DC charging port on the power bank.

2. Plug the AC adapter into any standard AC
outlet (120V)

3. Charge until the blue LED indicator light
goes off.

Pairing the Headset

1. Before pairing the headset, make sure the
headset is fully charged.

2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your
phone according to the phone’s manufac­turer’s instructions.

3. Turn on the headset by pressing and
holding the Function Button, for approxi­mately 10 seconds. You should see the
LED flashing blue and red. The headset is
now in the paring mode.

4. On the mobile phone being paired to
the headset, follow the manufacturer’s
instructions. You will eventually be asked
to enter a pin number.

5. Enter this pin number when prompted.

6. When the pairing is successful, your
phone should display the name of the

headset as BTH11

a. The blue LED will slowly flash on and off.

Note: You do not have to pair the headset to the phone again
once it is paired. Some phone models may require reconnecting
the phone to the headset; refer to the phone’s manufacturer’s
instructions. If you wish to pair the headset to another phone, turn
off the phone the headset was originally paired with and follow the
pairing instructions according to the new phone’s manufacturer ’s
instructions. When prompted for the pin number, use the same

number (1234) as in step 5.

Turning On/Off Headset

Turning On

• Press and hold the Function Button until
you hear a short low beep.

• The blue LED will begin to flash indicating
the headset is turned on.

Turning Off

• Press and hold the Function Button until
you hear a short high beep followed by a
low beep.

• The blue LED will no longer be illuminated
indicating the headset is now turned off.

Answering, Hanging-up & Rejecting Calls

Answering Calls

• When you are receiving a call press and
release the Function Button on the head­set.

• You should be able to talk to the caller.

• Note: If you answer the call by the phone
and not through the headset, the call can
not be transferred to the headset once the
call has been answered.

• If you want to reject the call, press and
hold the Function Button for about
2 to 3 seconds

Placing Calls

• Press and release the Function Button on
the headset.

• Dial the number on the phone; once the
number has been dialed, you should be
able to hear the ringing of the number
dialed.

• If your phone has voice dialing feature,
you can use this headset with the voice
dialing feature. For voice dialing follow
the steps below.

• Make sure the headset is connected to the
phone

• Press the
headset; you should hear a short tone.

• After the tone, use the voice dialing as
normal.

• Follow the phone’s manufacturer’s in
structions for voice dialing.

• Note: This headset may not work with
certain models of phones using the voice
dialing feature.

• Note: If you place the call before turning
on your headset, the call can not be trans­ferred to the headset.

Adjusting the Volume

• You can adjust the volume anytime during
the conversation by pressing and releas­ing the top button for volume up.

• To adjust the volume down, press and
release the bottom button.

• It is recommended that you do not turn
the volume all the way up for your safety
and to prevent hearing loss.

Transferring Calls

You may transfer calls from your headset
to your mobile phone or from your mobile
phone to your headset.

Note: Not all mobile phones may support this feature;
please refer to the mobile phone users manual.

• To transfer calls to your headset from
your mobile phone, press and hold the
volume up button until you hear a beep;
you should now be able to converse using
your mobile phone.

• To transfer calls from your mobile phone
to your headset, press and release the
(function button) once and you should
now be able to converse using your head­set.

Using the SecuEar Clip

The optional SecuEar clip is included for
those who want additional security or
stability of the headset within the ear. Many
users may find it necessary.

To attach the SecuEar clip carefully place it
around the base of the ear phone portion of
the headset.

The SecuEar has a spring mechanism which
allows it to fit snugly within the contours of
the user’s ear.

To remove the SecuEar clip it works best to
reposition it in the opposite direction from
above. Then carefully pull downward from
the base clip.

Gracias por escoger el Audífono Deportivo
Bluetooth de GE, modelo 86711. Su innovador
diseño le brinda la libertad que necesita para
hablar por teléfono, mientras que su exclusivo
y elegante diseño hace que el audífono pase

El Audífono Deportivo también viene con un
cargador portátil, para que pueda cargar su
batería sin importar donde esté. El Audífono
Deportivo está diseñado para que se ajuste a

Recarga del audífono y del Cargador portátil

Nota: Aún si el audífono o el cargador portátil estén parcialmente
cargados, igual deberá cargar las baterías antes de usar el audífono
o el cargador portátil. La primera vez que los recargue, cargue
el Audífono y el cargador portátil por 16 horas como mínimo. El

cargador portátil se deberá cargar de forma independiente.

• Coloque el audífono en el cargador portátil, haciendo
que los contactos se toquen.

• Conecte el adaptador de CA para recargar a la entrada
de CC del cargador portátil.

• La luz indicadora azul se iluminará para indicar que la
recarga ha empezado.

• La luz indicadora azul seguirá prendida mientras el
audífono se esté cargando; cuando haya terminado de

recargarse, la luz azul se apagará.

Recarga del Cargador portátil de forma
independiente

Nota: Puede cargar el cargador portátil con el adaptador de CA o

con el cable USB que viene incluido con el audífono.

• Recarga con el adaptador de CA:

• Inserte el conector con el tambor redondo a la entrada
para recargar de CC del cargador portátil.

• Conecte el adaptador de CA en cualquier enchufe de CA
(120V).

• Déjelo cargando hasta que la luz indicadora azul se
apague.

• Recarga con el Cable USB:

• Inserte el conector con el tambor redondo a la entrada
para recargar de CC del cargador portátil.

• Inserte el conector USB a cualquier puerto USB de su
computadora.

• Déjelo cargando hasta que la luz indicadora azul se
apague.

Sincronización del Audífono

1. Antes de sincronizar el audífono, asegúrese de
que esté completamente cargado.

2. Active la función Bluetooth de su teléfono, de
acuerdo a las instrucciones del fabricante del
teléfono.

3. Para prender el audífono, presione y man
tenga, por unos 10 segundos, el (Botón de
Función), es el botón que está entre los dos
botones del volumen. La luz indicadora
parpadeará entre la luz azul y roja. El audífono
estará en modo de sincronización.

4. Siga las instrucciones del fabricante en el telé­fono que se va a sincronizar con el audífono.
En algún momento se le pedirá el número
clave.

5. Cuando se lo pida, ingrese este número.

6. Cuando la sincronización haya terminado, en
su teléfono aparecerá el nombre del audífono,
BTH11.

a. La luz indicadora azul parpadeará lentamente.

Nota: Una vez que estén sincronizados, ya no tendrá
que volver a sincronizar el audífono con el teléfono.
Con algunos modelos de teléfono tendrá que reconectar
el teléfono y el audífono; siga las instrucciones del
fabricante del teléfono. Para sincronizar el audífono con
otro teléfono, apague el teléfono que sincronizó primero
con el audífono y siga las instrucciones de sincronización
de acuerdo a las instrucciones del fabricante del nuevo
teléfono. Cuando le pida el número clave, use el mismo
número (1234) que usó en el paso 5.

Encendido/Apagado del Audífono

Encendido

• Presione y mantenga el (botón de fun­ción) hasta que escuche un pitido corto.

• La luz azul indicadora empezará a par
padear para indicarle que el audífono está
prendido.

Apagado

• Presione y mantenga el (botón de fun­ción) hasta que escuche un pitido agudo

corto y luego uno grave.

• La luz azul indicadora se apagará para
indicarle que el audífono ya está apagado.

Contestar, Colgar y Rechazar llamadas

Contestar llamadas

• Cuando reciba una llamada, presione y
suelte el (Botón de Función) del audífono.

• Ya puede hablar con la otra parte.

• Nota: Si contesta por el teléfono y no
con el audífono, más adelante no podrá
transferir esa llamada al audífono.

• Si quiere rechazar la llamada, presione y
mantenga el (Botón de Función) por unos
2 ó 3 segundos.

Hacer llamadas

• Presione y suelte el (Botón de Función)
del audífono.

• Marque el número con el teléfono; una
vez que haya marcado, escuchará que el
número marcado está timbrando.

• Si su teléfono tiene la función de mar
cación por voz, podrá usar esta función
con este audífono. Para marcar por voz,
siga los siguientes pasos.

• Asegúrese de que el audífono está co
nectado al teléfono.

• Presione una vez el (
del audífono; escuchará un tono corto.

• Luego del tono, marque el número con su
voz de forma normal.

• Siga las instrucciones de la marcación por
voz del fabricante del teléfono.

• Nota: La función de marcación por voz
con este audífono puede no funcionar con
algunos modelos de teléfono.

• Nota: Si marca el número antes de
encender el audífono, la llamada no se
podrá transferir al audífono.

Ajuste del volumen

• En cualquier momento puede ajustar el
volumen mientras esté conversando; para
subir el volumen, presione y suelte el
botón superior.

• Para bajar el volumen, presione y suelte
el botón inferior.

• Por su seguridad y para evitar daño al
oído, se recomienda que no suba el volu­men al máximo.

Transferencia de llamadas

Puede transferir las llamadas del audífono
al teléfono celular o del teléfono celular al
audífono.

Nota: Con algunos teléfonos celulares no podrá usar esta función;
consulte el manual de su teléfono celular.

• Para transferir las llamadas del audífono
al teléfono celular, presione y mantenga
el botón para subir el volumen hasta que
escuche un pitido; de esta forma podrá
conversar a través de su teléfono celular.

• Para transferir las llamadas de su teléfono
celular al audífono, presione y suelte una
vez el (Botón de Función); de esta forma
podrá conversar por el audífono.

Uso del Clip SecuEar

Se ha incluido el clip opcional SecuEar para
los que quieran que el audífono tenga mayor
seguridad y estabilidad dentro del oído. Muy
útil para muchos usuarios.

Para asegurar el clip SecuEar, colóquelo con
cuidado alrededor de la base del auricular
del audífono.

jálelo hacia abajo desde la base del clip.
