IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO THE USER
ON THE USE
- Never switch on the machine without supply of water or solution.
- The machine must not be running for more than 5 minutes with the
gun in closed position to prevent pump overheat. (Machine with trigger)
- In switching off the machine, pull the gun trigger to discharge the
pressure remaining in the system. (Machine with trigger)
- Do not pull the machine by the hose or the electric cable.
- Always use shoes with sole made of rubber or other insulating material.
- If the temperature is below 0º C, the water in the pump can freeze, and this can break the head. Therefore, in low temperatures, drain all water from the pump.
- Never point the the high pressure jet towards persons or animals. It can injure them.
- Never point the gun towards electric equipment.
- Never point the gun towards any thin surface.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING
PROBLEM
Damaged seals on suction system.
- Clean it.
- Open the water tap.
- Check the water flow from the tap. It must be minimum 12 L/min.
- Replace the nozzle.
- Maximum working height of 1 m for appropriate water or solution suction.
Dirty suction filter.
Worn nozzle.
- Replace them.
Deficient water or soution flow due to the height (when working through suction).
- Replace them.
Additivie suction filter clogged.
Damaged retainers or packing rings.
- See your dealer.
- Check the connections and the pump suction hose. Pull the gun trigger several times.
- Switch on and off the machine several times without the pressure hose.
Air suction.
CAUSE CORRECTION
Oil dipstick breather clogged.
- Clear the oil dipstick hole.
- Clean it.
- Check the nozzle and clean it.
The pump does not reach
the working pressure,
or the pressure oscillates.
The motor hums
but does not start up.
Oil leakage
The machine does not
suck additives.
Insufficient water supply.
Additive suction nozzle obstructed.
Worn gaskets.
Water or solution
leakage.
- Pull the gun trigger to discharge the pressure.
Pressurized pressure hose.
- Check if the plug is entirely fitted in the socket.
Connection plug improperly fitted.
- If an extension is being used, check its gauge. Refer to the section "POWER SUPPLY".
Extension cable with improper gauge.
- Check the power supply circuit. Consult an electrician.
Insufficient voltage from the power supply circuit.
ASSEMBLING THE MACHINE
-Mount both metalic rods (2) to the transport cable (5).
- Fit the four bolts (3) and tighten the four nuts (4).
- Fit the wire reel (8) in the holes of the metallic rods (2) according to the figure below.
- Position the electric switch (6) to the transport cable (5), aligning the holes.

WATER SUPPLY
DIRECT FROM THE WATER TAP
- The minimum flow rate of the tap must be 11L/min. NOTE: To check the flow rate of the tap, collect water in a recipient during 01
(one) minute. The water collected during this time must not be lower than 11liters,
under the risk to damage the pump.
- Use reinforced hose (nominal diameter of 13 mm - 1/2") to prevent it from
shrinking, what can damage the operation of the machine.

Only use wet cloth to clean this equipment. Never use water, since it can damage the components. The machine hood must not be cleaned with thinner or similar substances.
In regions where the temperatures are low, after using the machine, it is necesssary to drain completely the pump head to avoid damage.
PROCEDURES
Disconnect the suction hose (1) first and then the high pressure hose (2).
Switch on the machine for 10 seconds and make sure the water or solution has been expelled.
Install the hoses on the machine.

WATER SUPPLY
FROM A TANK
suction hose
(maximum length: 2.00 meters)
tank
Before starting the cleaning, fill the suction hose with water or solution in order to facilitate the elimination of the air from the hose and, consequently, from the pump head.
It can be necessary to attach a non-return valve to the suction hose end that will be under water or solution so that the hose is always filled with water or solution. This non-return valve is not supplied with the machine.
11
ATTENTION
- The machine must be on the same level of, or on a level below, the tank. Do not place the machine at a height more than 1 meter above the water level.
- The machine is not supplied with the suction hose.
MAINTENANCE
DECALS
JACTO affixes the decals shown below aiming to direct the use and
maintenance of this equiment, as well as to indicate places of danger.
These decals must be kept legible and in their correct place, because they are very important for the safety of the operator and persons working or standing around the area being cleaned.
ATTENTION:
IN CASE THE DECALS ARE DAMAGED OR ILLEGIBLE, YOU MUST
REPLACE THEM BY ORDERING THROUGH THE P/N INDICATED.

POWER SUPPLY
CABLE WITH GROUND PLUG
This equipment is assembled with a 3-prong ground plug (single-phase), and cable with 4 wires (three-phase). The round prong (single-phase), as well as the green wire (three-phase), is connected to the socket that is directly connected to the ground wire of the power supply circuit.
The job of the ground wire is to convey to the ground all electric discharge in the machine. Therefore, make the installation correctly and never remove the ground proung (round).
The wiring must be made in such a way so as to have the machine
properly grounded.
ELECTRIC CABLES AND EXTENSION
The use of electric extension is not recommended if the power supply is not properly grounded.
If necessary, use electric extension that has ground wire with connection or sockets that accept the cable with ground proung.
The electrical rating of this electric extension must not be less than the specified in this manual.
Always keep the electric extension away from flammable substances, heat and sharp edges. Always disconnect the electric extension from the power supply circuit before disconnecting the electric extension from the machine. Do not use damaged extension.
Should you have any doubt, consult an electrician.
ATTENTION: THE MACHINE IS NOT SUPPLIED WITH THE ELECTRIC EXTENSION TABLE OF WIRE GAUGE
The wiring and extension must be in accordance with the recommendations below.
