DO NOT OPERATE ANY FUNCTION THAT TAKES YOUR ATTENTION AWAY FROM SAFELY DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE.

Any function that requires your prolonged attention should be performed only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Failure to do so may result in an accident.

AVOID EXCESSIVE VOLUME LEVELS WHILE DRIVING.

High volume levels can cause sounds such as emergency vehicle sirens, train crossings, horns, etc. to be obscured and result in an accident. EXCESSIVE VOLUME LEVELS IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE MAY CAUSE PERMANENT HEARING DAMAGE.

PRODUCT CLEANING

Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the product. If necessary use a cloth dampened only with water, as any other substance could damage the plastic or nishes.

TEMPERATURE

Ensure the temperature inside your vehicle is within 0˚C (32˚F) and 45˚C (113˚F) before using product.

MAINTENANCE

If you experience problems with your iRoc®, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Please return the product to your nearest authorized Jackson Electronics dealer or Installation Company for repair or replacement.

WARNING

Opening or tampering with the unit will void all warranties.

1. VOLUME / TONE CONTROL KNOB

Turn left and right to increase or decrease volume. When knob is depressed, blue icons indicate Treble, Bass, and Subwoofer controls.

2. APPLE 30PIN CONNECTOR

Connects to bottom of the iPhone®.

3. SLIDING HEADPHONE JACK

Slides to the right to secure the iPhone in place.

1. POSITION DEVICE

With headphone jack in the open position, rmly slide iPhone onto 30-pin connector.

Then insert headphone jack into top of device.

ADJUSTING VOLUME

urn knob right to increase main volume, left to decrease main

volume.

ADJUSTING TREBLE

Depress knob once to display Treble stylized icon, turn knob right to increase Treble and left to decrease Treble.

ADJUSTING BASS

Depress knob again to display Bass stylized icon, turn knob right to increase Bass and left to decrease Bass.

ADJUSTING SUBWOOFER

Depress knob a third time to display Subwoofer stylized icon, turn knob right to increase Subwoofer and left to decrease Subwoofer.

• Vehicle ignition is switched o –

If properly connected, the unit should not operate with vehicle’s ignition switched o.

• Fuse is blown –

Check any fuses relevant to the unit’s operation and replace with identical fuse.

• Improper power lead connections –

Ensure power and ground are correctly connected.

UNNATURAL OR NO SOUND

• Volume/treble/bass/subwoofer controls improperly adjusted –

Adjust accordingly.

• Headphone jack is not fully inserted –

Fully remove and insert again, you should feel a rm click once inserted.

• Unit is not properly installed –

If your iRoc® continues to function improperly, please return to your nearest authorized Jackson Electronics dealer for repair or replacement.

MAKE ONLY PROPER CONNECTIONS

Failure to do so may result in product damage or injury.

ONLY INSTALL PRODUCT IN VEHICLES WITH 12 VOLT NEGATIVE GROUND

Attempting to do otherwise may result in damage to the product or vehicle.

DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL BEFORE INSTALL

Leaving the battery terminal connected may result in injury due to electric shock.

DO NOT SPLICE INTO OTHER ELECTRICAL WIRES

Cutting away cable insulation to supply power to other equipment may result in a short circuit, and will exceed the intended current capacity possibly resulting in re or electric shock.
