You can use the wireless receiver in the receiver cradle or you can connect the mains cable directly to
the receiver:
1. Carefully unpack the receiver and the receiver cradle.
2. Place the receiver cradle or receiver in a place that will have clear reception from your camera.
3. Plug the AC adaptor power cable into the input socket on the cradle or on the receiver and connect it to the mains.
4. The receiver should be charged for 6 hours prior to rst usage so the built-in rechargeable battery
is fully charged. Do not remove the adaptor cable from the receiver or the cradle during the initial charging process. After this, the receiver should be charged as required.
5. If you would like to view the video on a larger screen, connect the included AV cable to the cradle or receiver, and connect the other end of the cable to the Video IN (yellow) and Audio IN (white) ports on the TV or other device.
NOTE: The video resolution is set for VGA (640x480 pixels), so the picture might be grainy when displayed on the larger screen. This is not a product defect. For best TV performance use the PIP (Picture in Picture) TV function. This function allows you to view a TV program as well as the video from the camera placed in a small window in the corner.

CAMERA
a) Front & Back of the Camera
1. Camera Antenna – Should not be close to the metallic parts.

OFF). Alternatively you can use the button 11 on the receiver to switch the camera light ON or OFF remotely.
3. Lens/IR LED Cover – Infrared LEDs enable better vision during low or no light.
4. Microphone – Hears all the sounds in the monitored room and transmits them to the wireless receiver.
5. Power (9V DC) – To connect the 9V DC power adaptor to the camera.
NOTE: The camera can also be powered by a rechargeable accumulator (included) or 4 AA batteries.
The batteries would only be used if there is no mains power. When powered from an AC adaptor, inserted accumulator would be recharged.
6. Pair Button – This button is not used for Tiny monitor..
b) Side of the Camera
7. Volume Setting – To adjust the sound alarm sensitivity. The receiver will beep to alert the user when
the sound is above the preset sound level. Adjust the side wheel to increase or decrease the level.
8. Camera ON/OFF Switch – To switch the camera ON or OFF.
CAMERA INSTALLATION
Before you install the camera, carefully plan where and how it should be positioned, and where you will route the cable of the power adaptor. It is also needed to check the image quality on the receiver before the camera is installed permanently. The best is to place the wireless receiver on the most common place where it will be used.
Installation Warnings
Place the camera to optimize the viewing area – select a location that provides a clear view of the area you want to monitor, which is free from dust and is not in line-of-sight of a strong light source or direct sunlight. Avoid installing the camera where there are thick walls or any obstructions between the camera and the receiver.
Night Vision
The camera has built-in infrared LEDs, which provides the camera with the ability to view a monitored space in poor light conditions. It is important to use the provided power adaptor (and not the batteries) with the night vision feature to prolong the viewing period in poor light conditions, as the built-in IR LEDs will drain the battery more quickly than in regular daytime use.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If any difculties with the video monitor occur, please see the possible solutions below:
Symptoms Solution
No picture from a camera
1. Check the AC adaptor of the camera – whether it is connected to the camera and plugged into the mains.
2. Make sure that the camera and receiver are both ON.
3. Make sure that the camera is in range of the receiver.
4. If using the accumulator, check the capacity or replace the batteries if needed.
The picture is dropping out
1. The signal from the camera may be too low. Move the camera closer to the receiver.
2. Try repositioning the camera, receiver or both to improve the reception.
Audio problems
1. Ensure that the volume on the receiver is turned up.
2. Make sure that there is no disturbing sound within range of the camera microphone.
3. If the unit emits a loud screeching noise (feedback), move the camera or receiver farther apart.
The picture has become choppy
The picture may become choppy when experiencing a lower frame rate (refreshing less than 10 times a second). Try moving the camera closer to the receiver. Remove obstructions between the receiver and camera.
The picture appears to be grainy when using the AV output for viewing on a large screen
The picture might be grainy as the camera video resolution is set to VGA (640x480 pixels). This is not a product defect.
1. For best performance use the PIP (Picture in Picture) function on the TV.
2. Check if the video resolution is set to the “high” option.
