provide you with guidelines to ensure that operation of this product is safe and does not pose risk
to the user. Any use that does not conform to the guidelines described in this User Guide may void

• Do NOT open the monitor or camera unit for any reason. There are no user serviceable parts.
Doing so presents a risk of personal injury including electric shock, fire or death.

• Only use the batteries supplied with this product. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.

• Ensure that the power outlet is near the equipment and is easily accessible.

• This monitoring system is not a toy. Do not allow children access to it.

3.1 Monitor Unit Installation

3.1.1 Battery and A/C Adapter
The monitor unit can be powered by either the Lithium rechargeable battery or the A/C adapter.

The battery will charge once A/C adapter is connected.

1. To insert the battery, open the battery door at the bottom
of the monitor unit, as shown in Pic.1.

2. Insert the battery noting the location of metal pins as indicated
in Pic.1 to assure correct direction.

3. Push the battery inside the bay until it locks and close the
battery door.

4. Plug the A/C adapter into the wall outlet then attach the
cord to the “DC IN” jack on the monitor unit.

5. LED power indication:
GREEN: Power on – battery not charging

ORANGE: Power on – battery charging
RED: Power off – battery charging
NO LIGHT: Power off – battery not charging

3.1.2 Antenna
You can adjust the antenna length by sliding the shifter

at the back of the monitor unit. (Pic.2) To achieve optimal
signal reception, you should maximize the antenna length
during operation.

3.1.3 Stand
To place the monitor unit on the table at a viewable angle, you can

flip out the stand at the back side of the monitor unit. (Pic.2)

3.2 Camera Unit Installation

3.2.1 Battery and A/C Adapter
The camera unit can be powered by either the Lithium rechargeable

battery or the A/C adapter. The battery will charge once A/C adapter
is connected.

1. To insert the battery, open the battery door at the right side of
the camera unit, as shown in Pic.3.

2. Insert the battery noting the location of metal pins as
indicated in Pic.3 to assure correct direction.

3. Push the battery inside the bay until it locks.

4. Plug the A/C adapter into the wall outlet then
attach the cord to the “DC IN” jack on the monitor
unit. Feed cord through cord slot. Close battery door.

5. LED power indication:
GREEN: Power on – battery not charging

ORANGE: Power on – battery charging
RED: Power off – battery charging
NO LIGHT: Power off – battery not charging
FLASHING: Low Battery Warning

3.2.2 Wall Mount
The wall mount can provide pan-viewing angles at +/- 30 degrees when the camera unit is placed

on a wall. Place two screws horizontally on the wall at a distance of 2.1” inches apart to mount
the camera unit.

Note: The monitor and camera unit in this package was paired in the factory
settings. You should get image and sound when both units are powered on.
If not, please follow the steps at 4.13 to re-pair both units or check the
troubleshooting section for potential problems.

3.2.3 Temperature Sensor
There is a temperature sensor located at the battery compartment

of camera unit. To receive the accurate data, extend the sensor out
from the battery bay and keep it in a well-ventilated area. (Pic.4)

4. General Operation

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on both monitor and camera unit, press the power button on each unit once. The power
LED will light up to indicate the unit is operating. To power off the monitor and camera unit, press
and hold each power button for three (3) seconds.

4.2 Adjusting the Volume of the Monitor Unit

Press the VOL + / VOL - buttons at the top of the monitor unit to increase or decrease the speaker
volume. Once the volume is changed, the status bar will indicate the current volume level: more
bars = louder; fewer bars = softer.

Note: Do not place the camera unit too close to the monitor unit with a high volume setting. You may
experience feedback / shrilling noise.

4.3 Intercom / Two-way talk

Press and hold the Push to Talk button on the monitor unit to activate the intercom function and
transmit your voice signal from monitor unit to the camera unit. Release the Push to Talk button to
stop the intercom function.

4.4 On Screen Status Bar

The on screen status bar is located at the top of the streaming video. It shows the current settings
of the system and provides the monitoring data to the user.

Details indicated below:

Camera name: The camera name in the top left corner of the display indicates which camera
image is shown on the screen.

Volume: The volume icon displays the current volume level.
Temperature: This indicates the current temperature reading of the camera unit.
Time: This displays the current time. To set the date and time, please see section 4.6.
Battery status: Displays the remaining capacity of battery. When the battery is charging, a

flashing icon will be displayed.

4.5 Menu and Navigation

To enter the user menu, press the Menu icon on the
Monitor unit’s touch screen.

The user menu will display as shown:

4.6 Clock, Day, Feeding Timer and Alarm

This section contains instructions on how to set the clock and alarm
features. In the Main Menu, press the SETTINGS icon to enter
Settings mode.

• Set Clock: Press the Time icon (time display shown) to set the time.

- Press UP and DOWN icons to set hour, minute, AM and PM.

- Press Save

• Set Day: Press the Day icon (day display shown; ie. SUNDAY).

- Press UP and DOWN icons to set day.

- Press Save

• Set Feeding Timer: In the Main Menu, press the ALARM icon.

- In Alarm Mode, press FEEDING TIMER icon.
In Feeding Timer mode, select ON or OFF.
Set INTERVAL (Right icon with time display). Press UP and DOWN

icons to set hour and minute.
Set SOUND (Right icon with sound number display). Press UP and

DOWN icons to choose sound.

• Set Alarm: In the Main Menu, press the ALARM icon.

- In Alarm Mode, press ALARM icon.

- Choose up to four (4) alarm times. Set Alarm times by pressing Left icon. This leads to the
Alarm submenu.

- In the Alarm Submenu, set Alarm Time by pressing the Right icon. Hour, Minute, AM or PM are
selected using UP or DOWN.

- Once Hour, Minute, AM or PM are set, press SAVE to return to the
Alarm Submenu. Set time will appear on the Right.

- In the Alarm Submenu, set Sound by pressing the Right icon. Choose
“Ring,” “Bell,” “Beep” or “Rooster” using UP or DOWN.

- Once Sound is set, press SAVE to return to the Alarm Submenu.

- In the Alarm Submenu, the DAY icon appears at the bottom listing all seven days (SU, MO, TU,
WE, TH, FR, SA). Press the DAY icon to set the day.

- Select Day and press SAVE to return to the Alarm Submenu. Your selected Time, Sound and
Day wil display in the Alarm Submenu. Press ON to activate.

- Repeat these steps for each Alarm you wish to set (up to four).
In the Clock Setting or Alarm Setting page, you can press the UP or DOWN icons to change the

hour or minute values.

• Set Time and Day: In the Main Menu, press the SETTINGS icon.

- In SETTINGS Mode, press the time icon (current time displayed). Select the Hour, Minute, and
AM/PM using UP or DOWN on the touch screen. When current time is selected, press SAVE.

- In SETTINGS Mode, press DAY icon. Select the Day using UP or DOWN on the touch screen.
When current day is selected, Press SAVE.

4.7 Adjusting the Brightness and Contrast

This section contains instructions on how to adjust the brightness of the screen. In the Main Menu,
press the SETTINGS icon to enter Settings mode.

• In Settings Mode, press the MORE icon.

• Press the SCREEN icon.

- Press LEFT or RIGHT to adjust brightness and contrast

- Choose display color (BLUE or PINK)

- Press Save

4.8 Temperature

There is a temperature sensor located on the camera unit to detect the environmental temperature
and display on your monitor unit. The temperature unit can be set to Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
In the Main Menu, press the SETTINGS icon to enter Settings mode. Press TEMPERATURE icon to
enter Temperature mode.

• Choose temperature unit (°C or °F).

• Enable/disable Temperature Warning. When the detected temperature
is under or over the user-defined low / high levels, the system will issue
an alert by displaying a high / low temperature icon and emitting a
beeping sound. Choose high or low temperature.

• Press Save

• Enable/disable Warning Sound (beeping).

• Press Save

4.9 Language Selection

The menu can be displayed in two different languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
In the Main Menu, press the SETTINGS icon to enter Settings mode.

• In Settings Mode, press the MORE icon.

• Press the Language icon (current Language shown; ie. ENGLISH).

• Choose Language.

• Press Save

4.10 ECO / Auto Mute

For power saving purposes, the monitor unit will turn off the screen when
the ECO mode is enabled and no sound is detected within the set time
frame. You can enable or disable the ECO feature and set the idle time
(Duration) before entering ECO mode. The available options are 1, 2, 5,
10, 15, 30 min, Stay On. In the Main Menu, press the SETTINGS icon to
enter Settings mode.

• In Settings Mode, press the ECO MODE/AUTO MUTE icon.

- Choose Eco Mode duration

- Press Save

- Turn Auto Mute ON or OFF

- Press Save

4.11 Restore Default Settings

This section contains instructions on how to restore the factory default
values of your wireless monitoring system. In the Main Menu, press the
SETTINGS icon to enter Settings mode.

• In Settings Mode, press the MORE icon.

• Select RESTORE TO DEFAULT.

4.12 Zoom Mode

Tap the center of the image on the monitor screen to zoom one time. UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT
arrows will appear on the screen.

Tap UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT arrows to pan.
The image can pan UP or DOWN 10 times from the center, and LEFT or RIGHT 20 times from the center.

Tap the center of the image on the monitor to return to normal viewing mode

4.13 Camera Pairing Menu

The monitor unit can pair with four (4) different camera units simultaneously. In the Camera
Pairing menu, you can assign a camera number to different camera units. In the Main Menu, press
the CAMERAS icon.

Choose BEDROOM 1 (camera included in package) or PAIR (3 icons).

4.13.1 Pairing A Camera
To pair a camera, please follow steps below to pair it with the monitor unit.

1. Power on both the monitor and the new camera unit.

2. Press the menu icon to enter the user menu.

3. Select Cameras.

4. Choose a camera slot for the new camera unit. It is advised to use a camera slot that is available.

5. Open the battery door of the camera unit.

6. Find the PAIRING button near the DC jack. Press and hold it for three (3) seconds.

7. The user menu will indicate when the pairing process is completed.

8. Go to Camera Selection Menu and choose the new assigned camera number.

Note: The monitor unit will search for the new camera for 30 seconds. If you fail to pair within this
time, you may repeat step 4 as necessary. While the camera is in pairing mode, the night light will flash.
For troubleshooting and FAQ, please refer to the Troubleshooting and FAQ section in this manual.

4.14 Camera Properties Menu

This section contains instructions on how to select different camera units and set their properties.
The properties of each setting are shown below.

Note: Camera properties can only be viewed while the camera is connected. If the camera is not
connected, the menu will give you a choice to Reconnect, or Delete Pair.

4.15 Lullaby Menu

On the camera unit, there are five (5) preset lullabies available. In the Main Menu, press the
LULLABY icon. From here you can select SOUND, DURATION, and CAMERAS. Enable/disable PLAY.

5. Troubleshooting And FAQ

Q. Screen shows no image / blank.

A. Make sure both the monitor and camera unit are powered on. The green or orange LED on the power
button will light and indicate the system is on.

If the power LED does not light, please check if the A/C adapter is properly installed at both DC IN jack
and wall outlet. (For troubleshooting purposes, please connect the monitor unit and camera unit to the
A/C adapter instead of using the Lithium battery)

If the power LED is lit but there is still no screen, remove the battery and unplug the A/C adapter from
monitor and camera unit, and wait sixty (60) seconds. Then plug in the A/C adapters again and try to
power on the system again.

Q. I can see the opening screen and the status bar, but the screen shows “Out Of Range”.

A. The message indicates that the monitor unit cannot communicate with the camera unit.
First check the camera number at the left of status bar. Then make sure the corresponding camera is

powered on. You can select the correct camera number by following the steps mentioned at 4.13.1.
If the camera number is correct and the camera unit is powered on, try to shorten the distance

between monitor unit and camera unit, and avoid any obstacles between the two units.

Q. How can I get the best signal reception?

A. Our wireless monitoring system is capable to work at a distance of up to 900 feet in an open area.
However, obstacles like walls, and other 2.4GHz devices like WiFi routers, cordless phones, etc. will

sometimes affect the signal transmission. To obtain the best signal reception, fully extend the antenna
of monitor unit. In addition, place your camera unit vertically to further improve the signal reception.

Q. Why do I get a black and white image on screen?

A. This is the night vision image by infrared light. By default, the system will automatically turn on the
night vision function to capture the image in a dimly lit area. You can manually turn this on or off from
the user menu as mentioned in section 4.14 of this manual.

Q. How can I avoid the shrill sound (feedback noise)?

A. Avoid placing the monitor and camera unit too close together. The closer both units are together,
the louder the shrill sound will be.

Adjust the volume level on both the monitor (from 'VOL +' and 'VOL -' key) and camera unit (in the user
menu) until it renders a desirable sound level.

Q. What is ECO MODE and how does it work?

A. Its main purpose is to conserve battery by shutting off the display and allowing the monitor unit to
“wake up” from ECO mode when noise is detected near the camera unit.

Entering ECO mode: Select the duration before entering ECO mode. (section 4.10) Within this period,
the system will start its timer to detect noise from camera unit. If noise is detected, the timer will
restart. If there is no noise during this period, the monitor unit will enter ECO mode.

Leaving ECO mode: To manually force the system to leave ECO mode, press any button on the monitor
unit. If the camera unit detects noise, the system will leave ECO mode automatically. The sensitivity
of noise detection can be adjusted in Camera Properties Menu (section 4.14). A high sensitivity setting
means the VOX will be triggered at lower sound level. A low sensitivity setting means the VOX will be
triggered at a higher sound level.

Q. Why does the sound cut in and out all the time?

A. This is likely caused by the Auto Mute function. Auto Mute function is designed to eliminate white
noise (background noise) when the detected sound level is low. It will shut down the speaker when
10 seconds of continuous silence is reached. If the environment is at marginal sound level, it may lead
to the sound cutting in and out. To remedy this, disable the Auto Mute function as described in section

4.10 of this manual.

Q. Why does the system emit a beeping sound with a high or low temperature warning?

A. Both the beeping sound and temperature warning are the alerts for a high/low temperature warning.
This warning is displayed when the camera detects a room temperature that is either above or below
the desired temperature level range.

You can enable or disable the temperature warning sound as described in section 4.8 of this
user manual.

Q. Why can I not hear the environmental sound when a lullaby is playing?

A. Because the speaker and microphone are placed in the same device, and their relative distance is
much shorter when compared to the environmental sound sources, the music will cover all
environmental sounds during lullaby playback.

You may select different playback modes (1 min., 10 min., 30 min., or Stay On) as mentioned in section

4.14 of this manual. The system will detect environmental sounds when lullaby playback has ended.

Q. Is it possible to configure different camera units with different settings?

A. Different camera units may store different user-defined settings. The following functions are
available for user configuration:

• Camera Name

• Volume (At Intercom mode or lullaby playback)

• Lullaby

• Night Vision

• VOX Sensitivity

• Night Light
Follow the instructions in section 4.14 to configure the above functions with different camera units.

Q. Can I support multiple monitor units with one camera unit?

A. No. The monitor unit supports only four (4) different camera units simultaneously. For security
reasons, the camera unit can only register one monitor unit at a time.

Warning! Do not attempt to open the casing of the monitor unit and camera unit or the Lithium
battery. Improper use of the system may cause fatal damage and will void the warranty.
