IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Please read these instructions carefully before using the product and save for later reference.

3. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Clean the product with a damp soft cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners as it may cause permanent damage to the screen.
4. Do not use this product near water.
5. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, or table. The product may fall, causing serious damage to the product.
6. Slots and openings in the cabinet and the back or bottom are provided for ventilation; to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat register, or in a built-in installation unless proper ventilation is provided.
7. This product should be operated from the type of power indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power available, consult your dealer or local power company.
8. This product is equipped with a 3-wire grounding type plug, a plug having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into t he outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the purpose of the grounding-type plug.
9. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not locate this product where persons will walk on the cord.
10. If an extension cord is used with this product, make sure that the total of the ampere ratings on the products plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the extension cord ampere rating. Also make sure that the total of all products plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed 15 amps.
11. Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in a risk of fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.

1. Introduction
1.1. About the Product
The new 6-in-1 media player enhances your media presentation or advertising to be more convenient and brings the immediate enjoyment and entertainment to your life. The compact dual slot design allows Compact Flash or IBM Micro drive to work concurrently with the Smart Media, Memory Stick, and Multimedia Card/Secure Digital card. The microprocessor-controlled media player works with 8”~23” TFT LCD panel. It is designed to meet the demanding requirements of today’s business and industrial applications.

3. Manual
3.1. Install Battery in the Remote Control
Insert the battery and match the (+) and (-) on battery to the marks inside the battery compartment.
First-time use:
Remember to remove the insulating Mylar piece form the battery .
Service life of battery:
1. The battery normally last for about one year although this depends on how often and for what operations the remote control is used.
2. If the remote control unit fails to work even then it’s operated near the player, please replace the battery.
3. Use a 3V lithium battery.
3.2. To Insert Cards
Push the card slide into Media Player connector. This Media Player supports 6 types of flash memory card:
Compact Flash Card (CF) Secure Digital Card (SD) Smart Media Card (SM) Multi-Media Card (MMC) Memory Stick (MS) IBM Micro Drive
Make sure that the card clicks into card slot properly. If the card has one or more kinds of data recorded on it, a menu screen will appear on the screen.

3.3.5. Playback
On PHOTO/MUSIC/VIDEO/FILE page, press

press ENTER to start playback.

will start playback of photo with music if MP3 data
contented in card.
z When playing video, press

z Adjust the volume: using the remote control or OSD board button -/+.
This Media player supports only JPEG-PHOTO, MP3-MUSIC and MPEG1, 2, 4–VIDEO
format.
3.3.6. Pause
Press
once during playback to pause the slide show/music/video. To return to normal
playback just need to press

NOTE: Pause key is defined as Play/ Pause key which toggle between those two functions.
3.3.7. Stop
Press
to stop playback.
Note:
When slide show playing, press
and the Media player will bookmark this stopping
point of these photos contained in the card. Press ENTER will start playback fro m the last stopping point.

3.3.8. Mute the Media player
Press
button during playback.
When “MUTE” appears on the screen, this Media player is mute. To resume the sound, press the mute button until “MUTE OFF” appears on the screen.
3.3.9. Next or Previous Playback
1. On PHOTO/MUSIC/VIDEO/FILE page, press
/ for switch to next/previous page.
2. When playing photo slide show/music/video, press or will switch to next item and press
or will switch to previous item.

Adjust the OSD background color to be brightness or weakness color.
ADC ADJUST
Adjust the setting value of ADC control manual fo r Green Color gain, Blue color Gain, Red color Gain, and Color Contrast/ Brightness adjustment. Press "+" or "-" to into the ADC control menu and select the desired item.
CHANNEL
Execute to switch the input source. Press "+" or "-" button to change the input to Analog (VGA) or Media Player channel.
RECALL
Recall the factory default settings. Press "+" or "-" button to execute this function.
SPEAKER ON/OFF
Make the speaker mute or work. Press "+" or "-" button to switch ON/OFF.

3.6 Take good care of your Media player
3.6.1. Clean the Media player
z Before cleaning the Media player , disconnect the AD adapter. z To clean, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. z For stubborn dirt, wet a soft cloth with a mild detergent solution made by dilutin g one part
detergent to 5 or 6 parts water, wring well, then wipe off the dirt.
z Use a dry cloth to wipe the surface dry. z Do not use volatile liquids such as benzene and thinner which may damage the surfaces.
Please bear in mind the following points when using it:
z Use in a wall-ventilated room. z Place on a solid, flat, level surface, such as a table, shelf or stereo rack. z Don’t use in a place exposed to high temperatures or humidity, including near radiators
and other heat-generating appliances.
z When storing, cable be coiled loosely (at least 15cm).

z If the plug is dusty, wipe off using a soft, dry cloth before connecting. z Don’t place on a window still or other place where the Media player exposed to direct
sunlight.

becomes hot in use.
z Don’t use in a kitchen or other room where the Media player may be exposed to smoke
or steam.
z Don’t use on a thick rug or carpet, or cover with cloth, this may prevent proper cooling of
the unit.
z Don’t place on an unstable surface, or one that is not large enough to support all four of
the unit’s feel.
z Don’t bend the cable at a sharp angle.
3.6.2. Troubleshooting
Before requesting service for this Media Player, check the chart below for a possible cause of the problem you are experiencing. Some simple checkups or a minor adjustment on your part may eliminate the problem and restore proper operation.
Mute, Volume control, Fast Forward under FILE menu
z File menu is for previewing only; therefore,
all control functions, such as volume and mute, will not work unless enter key is pressed to get into a play mode.
No power
z Insert the power plug securely into the
power outlet.
z Check if the on/off button on the right of the
Media Player is set to on.
z Check if no power at the AC outlet by
plugging in another appliance for a test.
The Media Player does not start playback when play is pressed
z Condensation has formed: wait about 1 to
2 hours to allow the Media Player to dry out. Check if the Media Player is defective by trying another card.
The Media Player starts playback but stops immediately
z The card may be dirty and may require
cleaning.
z Ensure that the card is installed with proper
situation position.
No picture
z Ensure that the equipment is connected

z Check if outer equipment is on.
No sound
z Ensure that the equipment is connected

z If using a hi-fi amplifier, try another sound

Distorted sound
z Ensure that the input settings for stereo
system are proper.
z No sound is heard during still picture
(pause).
No audio at digital output
z Check the digital connections. z Check if the audio format of the selected
audio language matches your receiver capabilities.
Picture is distorted during rapid advance or rapid reverse
z The picture will be somewhat distorted at
times: this is normal.
No rapid advance (or rapid reversed) playback
z Some video may have sections that
prohibit rapid advance (or rapid reverse).
No operations perform with the remote control
z Check the battery is installed with the
correct polarities (+and-).
z The battery is depleted: replace them with
new ones.
z Point the remote control unit at the remote
control signal sensor and operate. Operate the remote control unit at a distance but no more than 7 meters from the remote control signal sensor.
z Remove the obstacles between the remote
control unit and remote control signal sensor.
No key operation (by the Media Player AC power and / or the remote control) is effective
z Turn the unit off and then back to on.
Alternatively, turn off the unit, disconnect the cord and then re-connect it. (The player may not be operating properly due to

lightning, static electricity or some other external factor.)
3.7. Known Issues
Issue 1: When a movie is playing and press fast forward, the following movie will play at the normal speed but without sound.
Issue 2: Under MUSIC selection menu the Next/Back chapter key becomes stop key.
