1. Introduction of Digital Conference System
About ITC Digital Conference System
Digital conference system is another high-tech professional product after
multimedia central control products and audio-video matrix products. It
includes discussion units, simultaneous interpretation system, IR voice
distribution, remote telephone conference, voting and camera tracking etc.
Based on our complete system solution idea, it could be closely compatible
with both DCS (Digital conference System) and MCS (Multimedia Central
System) to become a complete intelligent conference system solution.
This user manual is applicable to Intelligent Digital Conference Controller,
Discussion Units, Camera Tracking System and Telephone Conference System.

5. Instruction of using PC software
5.1 Six video channelsSet up the conference platform
1) Open the PC software, set the serial, switching the video through PC software,
the display screen could be switched to different channel displays.
Notice: The address of video channel should be as same as the camera's.
5.2 Screen freeze period function
1) The screen freeze period could be set through PC software from 1-6 seconds.
The screen freeze period is beside the setting period when the camera is
rotating. It also has the function of protecting power losing.
5.3 Image resolution
1) Any of the three image resolutions could be selected by PC software and it
has the function of protecting power losing.

5.4 Getting the information of code switching
1) Turning the code switching on the rear panel of the unit, re-up electricity of
the unit, click "achieve" on the PC software to get the code switching protocol of
the camera tracking controller, Baud rate and the type of camera. Checking
whether the protocol, Baud rate and camera type are as same as the real setting
of the camera connection.
If only turning the first code, choosing VISCA protocol.
If only turning the second code, choosing SAMSUNG protocol.
If neither the first or second code is turned, choosing Pelcd D protocol.
If only turning the third code, choosing the Baud rate of the control camera at
2400.
If only turning the fourth code, choosing the Baud rate of the control camera at
4800.
If both the third and fourth codes are turned, choosing the Baud rate of the
control camera at 19200.
If neither the third or the fourth code is turned, choosing the Baud rate of the
control camera at 9600.
If the fifth code is turned, it is desk top camera; if not, it is wall mount camera.
5.5 Reset to Factory Defaults
Click "Reset to Factory Defaults", the screen freeze period of this is 1S, the DPI
is 1024*768, the camera channel number is the first one(it is valid when re-up
electricity).
5.6 Camera address setting
Camera Address Input the corresponding camera
address to control the cameras by the following keys.
Page 10
7
5.7 The invoking, delete and setting of camera presetting
Choosing the camera protocol, input camera address and presetting position to
control the unit.
5.8 Setting the presetting position of the unit
1) Choosing the right protocol, camera address, presetting position, unit
address, adjusting the camera position via the up and down keys to the right
unit, then click "Setting" to finish the presetting bit of the unit. After setting all
the presetting bits accordingly, the camera will automatically point to speech
unit when opening the units.
5.8.1 Supporting three kinds of camera protocol
It could control the rotation direction of the camera and the presetting bits by
selecting the three kinds of different protocols in the PC software.
Page 11

5.8.2. Baud rate testing
You could control the camera well by changing the Baud rate on the PC.
5.8.3 Controlling the cameras with different addresses
You could test several cameras together by changing the physical address of the
camera and then by controlling its moving in PC software.
5.8.4 The effect of system linking
Connecting one conference main controller, several conference discussion units
and the PC, then open the PC software to set the ID number and the presetting
bits of each unit. Then checking whether the working of the discussion units is
normal. Please turn on several discussion units and turn off them to see whether
the camera could point to the presetting bits automatically. Testing samples as
below:
1When turning on the 1stto 5thdiscussion units continuously, the camera will
point to the 5thunit. Then turning off the 5thunit, the camera will point to the 4
th
unit. Turning off the units continuously and finally when you turn off the 1stunit,
the camera will point to the panoramic position.(Panoramic position is setted by
PC software and before click the confirmation, the camera position should be
adjusted.)
2Turning on the 1stto 5thdiscussion units, the camera will point to the 5thunit.
Then turning off the 2nd, 3rdand 4thunits, the camera will not moving at this
time. Turning off the 5thunit, the camera will point to the 1stunit then.
3When tuning on the 1stto 5thunits, the camera will point to the 5thunit. Then
press the priority button on the 6thchairman unit, all the units will be off at this
time and the camera will point to the 6thchairman unit. The same testing
method to TS and TH series.

6 Attachment
1) Setting the adjustable ID number, after setting one unit, ID number will add
one automatically to make the presetting bits conveniently.
2) Open the software to read the real data of the machine. You could also read
the output Baud rate, model name selection and the DPI of the camera.
Protocol Explanation:
ID=0 Panoramic Position
Visca Directive explanation: Camera ID=Y. The default video channel is the 1
st
one. Camera ID=1. Presetting bits (1-128). The 128thpresetting bit is using as
panoramic position. Take the example of 8Y 01 04 3F 02 XX FF. In these
numbers, XX should be setted with call presetting bits.
ID number of the unit should be put on before all the protocol. Take the example
of MM NN 8Y 01 04 3F 02 XX FF. In these numbers, MM NN stands for ID number
of the unit.
