carefully before initial operation. Retain this manual for future reference.
The THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer is suitable for external application in case of insect bites from midges, mosquitoes, and horseflies (biting houseflies). When applied immediately after a sting THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer eliminates or reduces the itching and subsequent swelling of the affected area. At the same time it reduces the danger of pain and redness. An appearance of an inflammation can already be prevented in the development phase.
2. Application
1. Place the heating surface of the THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer exactly on the bite area while gently pressing on the button on the opposite end of the device. Maintain the unit slightly pressed on during the period of treatment.
2. The yellow LED lights up to indicate that the THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer is heating up.
3. The LED turns green when the correct application temperature has been reached.
4. Release the button. The first application is complete. Let the area cool down.
5. Repeat the procedure as required until the symptoms (pain or itching) have subsided.
3. Side effects
No side effects are known to occur when applying this device correctly. When applied on healthy skin, there is no risk of skin damage such as burns, necrosis, or any systemic effects. Children might experience an unpleasant feeling of heat.
4. Important notes
- Not recommended for treatment of children under three years of age!
- Do not apply on mucous membranes, eyes or lips!
- Do not apply on open wounds or damaged skin!
- The device does not replace a prophylactic treatment of Malaria when travelling abroad!
- The THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer is designed to alleviate itching and is ineffective for treating known or acute allergies against insect bites!
- Children should not use the THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer without adult supervision.
5. Cleaning instructions
- Do not use aggressive cleaning products
- Clean the contacts with a dry cloth.
6. Inserting and replacing the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the bottom side of the THERMO-Insect-Bite-Healer with a sharp object and insert two AAA-type alkaline batteries (not included) in it. To replace the batteries remove the old ones first. Please observe the information under
point 8 when inserting, replacing and disposing of the batteries!
• Insert the batteries into the battery compartment orienting them as indicated.
• Close the battery compartment.

8. Attention: Important notes about batteries
• Use only alkaline batteries with this device!
• Never use new and old batteries together.
• Remove the batteries if the device is not being used for longer time periods. Battery leakage can result in permanent damage to the device.
• Information on disposal of batteries:
Batteries contain pollutants and their disposal is subject to legal
regulations. The used batteries must therefore be returned to the point of purchase or taken to a collection point from the relevant public waste disposal body. Under no circumstances should the batteries be placed within the domestic waste, yellow waste bag, or similar. Only empty batteries should be taken to the collection points and adequate measures should be taken to avoid short
circuits (e.g. taping of poles).
9. Safety instructions
Important: This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from non-observance of these instructions. ISOTRONIC does not accept liability for any consequential damages.
- Operate only by applying the correct voltage.
- Always use original spare parts in case of repairs to avoid serious damage.
- Check any supply lines or live lines connected to the device for damage or faulty electrical isolation. The device should not be operated if any faults or obvious damage is detected.
- Any repairs or other work such as replacing a fuse, etc. should only be performed by an authorised electrician.
- It should be noted that operational errors or connection faults fall outside of ISOTRONIC’s area of influence and that no liability will be accepted for any consequential damages.
- Before operating the device it is necessary to check if it is suitable for the respective ^ location.

12. Guarantee
This product comes with a 2 year guarantee. The guarantee covers the correction of any defects related to imperfect material or manufacturing faults. The guarantee does not cover expendable parts such as lamps, rechargeable batteries or batteries. ISOTRONIC has no influence on the correct and proper mounting and operation of the product and can therefore only warrant the completeness and faultless condition of the product before use. We do not offer warranty nor accept liability for any damages or consequential damages in relation to this product. This applies especially when any changes or repairs have been performed on the product, or any connections have been modified, or any other parts have been used, or, if any damages have occurred as a result of incorrect operation, negligent treatment or misuse of the product.
