• Simply wash the blind in a solution of warm water
of max. 30°C and a mild detergent.
Rinse thoroughly, push the fabric into stack and
carefully squeeze the water out until the blind
does not drip any longer.
Hang the blind up in closed position. Open and
close the blind several times while allowing it to
dry to prevent the pleats sticking together. DO
NOT IRON!
• This excludes all metallised fabrics as well as coated black out fabrics and B1-qualities. These can
be carefully wiped clean with a cloth. Do not rub!
• We advise against chemical or ultrasonic cleaning
an do not accept warranty claims in such cases.

Product Information
Operation
For a long-lasting pleating it is necessary
to operate your pleated blind regularly
and also to fully raise the blind for longer
periods.
Especially when the pleated blind is
exposed to high temperatures (eg
southfacing windows, roof-lights,
conservatories etc.), above practise is
important to repeatedly support the pleats.
Cleaning Frames and Glass
• For cleaning window frames and
glasspanes do not use any caustic or
alkaline detergents which may encounter
directly or indirectly (condensation
water) with the blind.
• Insucient air ventilation (please see
tting instructions for min. mounting
spaces) can cause condensation water.
• Warranty does not apply to damages to
the fabric caused by dripping water or
insect excrements.
Exterior Usage
Pleated blinds are designed for heated
interior locations only and not for exterior
usage or swimming baths.
Therefore no warranty is given for exterior
installations, on open or partly glazed
roofed areas or swimming baths.

Important notes on child safety
Guidelines for child-safe tting of cord and chain operated pleated blinds
• Young children and can be strangled by loops in cords that operate the blind. There is a
risk that cords may become wrapped around a child’s neck.
• To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children.
• Move beds, cots and any furniture away from window covering cords.
!
• Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords or chains do not twist and create a loop.
• To reduce the risk of such accidents, please install and use supplied safety devices
according to the tting instructions. Complies with EN 13120
• Child safety is a top priority during the selection and installation of sun protection
products.
• When selling and installing, certain points must be considered to ensure a standardised
and therefore child-safe tting. For queries, please contact the respective specialist.
They will gladly explain about the possible risks and ensure professional measuring and
installation.
• For a child-safe installation the head rail (cord outlet) must be ttet at least 1500 mm from
the oor.
• The installation height of our products must be indicated on each order. If the installation
height is not specied, the child safety of our products cannot be guaranteed.
• Please keep the safety information and tting instructions that you received with the
delivery of pleated blind.
• This cord winder must be securely xed to an adjacent surface and the lowest point of the
cord tassel must be at least 1500 mm from the oor.
• All cord operated blinds are supplied with a safety cord tassel. This opens up as soon as the
cords are pulled apart 60 mm and at the same time pressure of 6 kg apply.
• Afterwards the assembly can be done by oneself according to the assembling instructions
provided with the product.

Photometric values of pleated blinds
The properties of pleated blinds in connection with light depend on many factors - for example, weave, coating, yarn selection, color, etc.
These factors inuence the optical and thermo-technical eects and ensure that each fabirc has dierent lighting values.
The photometric values are spread on reection, absorption and transmission. Together they add up to 100%. (Inuences by ventilation,
glass, assembly and assemble distance are not considered).
Explanation of Terms
Example: Fabric no 10114
ABSORPTION
25% of the light
is absorbed by the fabric
REFLECTION
35% of the light
is reected by the fabric
TRANSMISSION
40% of the light
is transmitted
through the fabric
Pleated blinds for Computer Workplaces

fabric
Reection: The value of reection indicates
the amount of light reected from the fabric.
The more sunlight is reected, the less it will remain
in the room and the room is not so heated.
Transmission - The value of transmission indicates
the amout of light passing through the fabric.
The higher the transmission value, the brighter the
room.
Absorption - The value of absorption indicates
the amount of light absorbed by the fabric. The
absorbed light energy is usually converted into
heat.
