7.3 INTERNAL SERVICE CALIBRATION
Internal calibration also referred as service calibration requires opening the machine and changing the jumpers. It is advisable to do this step only if you have required assistance or the service personnel assisting you to do this.
Open the 4 screws from the bottom of the machine and 1 from the ABS pan top change the calibration jumper marked CAL. Now place back the cover, ABS pan and the SS pan and switch on the machine. Make sure there is nothing kept on the weighing pan. At this moment do not put back the screws, simply place the cover on the machine.
To Start Calibration switch ON the scale and the count down will begin. Wait for a few seconds until the display shows “CAL”.
Make sure there is no weight on the pan. Press Zero / Enter key and the display shows “CAL3PT” this is 3 point calibration, you can change this setting to 1 point calibration by pressing the Mode button and the display will show “CAL1PT”.
Assuming you selected the 3 po int calibration, Press the Zero / Enter button once and the display shows “0.00” for 2 seconds and then the display will show “200.00” blinking now place the 200g of weight on the pan and the display will stop blinking and after 4 seconds display will show “400.00” blinking with weight still on the pan put another 200g of weight to make the total weight 400g, now again the display will stop blinking and after 4 seconds d isplay wi ll show “600.00” blinking, with weight still on the pan place another 200g 50 make a total of 600g and the display will stop blinking. Now the display will show “J-OFF”, lift all the weight from the pan and change the calibration jumper, place both the pans and tighten all the screws and press the Zero/Enter button once.
