envir onm ent . Trai ning in new locat ion s may c ause the dog to bec ome d ist rac ted,
cau sing you to rei nforce com mand s with the Collar Rec eiver more than necessary.
(4) Use a lo ng l eas h fa stened to a non -me tallic collar to h elp the dog 's l ear ning.
Ensur e the add iti ona l collar and leash do es not in terfere wi th the Co nta ct Points
on the Co lla r Rec eiv er. Do not use the rem ote t rai ning collar wit hou t a lon g leash
until y our d og is f ull y trained.
(5 ) Mor e su cce ss will o ccur by t eachi ng th e do g a com mand fi rst bef ore try ing t o
re inf orce th e comma nd with t he Re mote Tra nsmit ter.

(7) Issue one obedience co mma nd at a t ime , thi s wil l red uce confusion and allow
the dog to remain focused. Do not u se th e tra ini ng sy ste m for c omm and s tha t the
dog has n ot le arn ed.

(11) Do not use the tr ain ing s yst em to correct or el imi nat e forms of aggres sio n or
biti ng behavior. When the do g is showin g signs of agg ressive behavior, immediately
conta ct a pr ofe ssi onal dog traine r in yo ur lo cal area.
