Setup

Setup Active Disk Technology:

Insert your Journal Zip®disk. If the Journal software does not start automatically:

• Double-click the Zip disk icon in My Computer or in Windows

Explorer

• Double-click the setup icon (setup or setup.exe) to enable the Active Disk Technology driver.

• After the setup, the software automatically starts everytime you insert your disk.

• When the installation is finished, click

Close; your computer will

restart.

Start LifeWorks™Journal software

• Wait until Windows operating system has finished loading before reinserting the Journal disk.

• Journal will start automatically.

• The Journal software and your files always remain on the Zip disk.

• To save all changes and close Journal, simply eject the disk.
