The Iomega® StorCenter™ Pro can be stacked or mounted
in most rack systems.

NOTE:

Make sure the StorCenter Pro has sufficient airflow

(6" or 127 mm) both in front of and behind the unit.

1. Attach a bracket to each front corner of the StorCenter
Pro.

2. Attach a rail to each of the rear rack posts.

3. Attach the StorCenter Pro to the rails. Secure the front
brackets to the rack.

Das Iomega StorCenter Pro-Gerät lässt sich in den meisten

Use the included gray network cable between the
Ethernet connector on the rear of the StorCenter Pro and
a hub or switch.

Use the included red (crossover) cable to connect the

StorCenter Pro directly to a computer.

2. Connect the included power cord to the back of the
StorCenter Pro and an Uninterruptible Power Supply
(UPS).

NOTE: Never plug your StorCenter Pro directly into a

wall socket or power strip. Unexpected loss of power
may corrupt data or damage the Iomega StorCenter
Pro operating system.

3. Power on the StorCenter Pro.

1. Insert the Solutions CD then launch the Iomega
Discovery Tool Pro Software.

2. Select your StorCenter Pro in the Discovery window.
If your StorCenter Pro is not listed, see the
Troubleshooting section of this guide.

3. If Status is Unknown, click the Manage button and
configure the network settings manually. See the
Discovery Tool help system for more information.

4. Click the Manage button, then log into the StorCenter
Pro for advanced configuration.

User name*: Administrator

5. Register your StorCenter Pro at www.iomegareg.com
to receive email notification of software upgrades and
patches.
