1. Mouse and keyboard ports
The cables from the PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard plug in here. The                                   
ports are marked with an icon to indicate which is which.
2. Mouse and keyboard LED's
LED's light up when the keyboard and mouse are connected to the GUC100KM 
and flash when the keyboard or mouse is transmitting packets.
3. USB Type A connector
This connector plugs into the computer's USB port, or into a USB hub that is 
connected back to the computer.
PC, Mac and Sun
1. Plug the PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard into the appropriate connectors on 
  the GUC100KM adapter. The ports are marked with an icon to indicate which 
  is which.
2. Plug the GUC100KM's USB plug into the computer's USB port, or into a USB 
  hub that is connected back to the computer.
3. Power on the computer
4. Use the mouse and keyboard as you normally would.

The GUC100KM improves on previous adapter designs by including easy to use 
Hot-keys for selecting your computer's operating system and language input.  
Because it is a USB specification compliant device, GUC100KM supports energy 
saving suspend-and-resume operations.

Hot-key operations begin by pressing and holding the Right Control key, then 
press and release the F12 key, then press and release n. [Right Ctrl] + [F12] + [n]
Where n represents the operating system and language, shown in the tables below;

SUN
The PS/2 101/104 key keyboard can emulate the functions of the SUN keyboard 
when the Right control key (RCtrl) is used in conjunction with other keys. The 
corresponding functions are shown in the table.

To initiate the wake up function for SUN blade servers (100/2000):
1. Press the POWER key [[RCtrl+[4]].
2. Move the mouse OR press any key
Note: 
1. If the server fails to respond, click the left and right mouse buttons at the same time 
  OR press the escape key to resume status.
2. Normal use of either the mouse or keyboard on SUN Microsystems will initiate 
  the wake up function.
