Thank you for purchasing our thin client solution.
Read this Quick Start Guide to set up your ProEdge-A100 and access
Microsoft, Citrix, or VMware desktop virtualization services quickly. For
more information, please refer to the User’s Manual for ProEdge-A100.
NOTE: Your warranty will be voided if the warranty seal
on the product is broken or removed.

To assemble the AC adapter for your ProEdge-A100, please do the following:
1. Unpack your thin client package and
take out the AC adapter and
its detached plug.
2. Slide the plug into the AC adapter until
it clicks into place.
NOTE: The supplied plug may vary, depending on dierent areas.

Getting Connected
To make connections for your ProEdge-A100, please do the following:
1. Connect USB ports
2. Connect the LAN port
3. Connect and turn on the monitor(s).
• Connect the DVI-I
to two monitors, and then turn on the monitor(s).
• If only the VGA monitor is available, use the supplied DVI-I to VGA
adapter to connect your monitor.

To start using your ProEdge-A100, please do the following:
1. Ensure that your monitor(s) is connected and turned on.
NOTE: Please note that you need to connect and turn on your monitor(s)
before powering up the thin client. Otherwise, the client may fail

Accessing VMware View Services
To set the time zone for your ProEdge-A100, please do the following:
1. Click the Setup
2. On I-O Client Setup, click System > Time Zone.
3. Click the Time Zone drop-down menu to select the desired time zone.
4. Click Save to apply, and then close I-O Client Setup.

Returning to the Quick Connection Screen
To return to I-O Quick Connection screen when on local Linux desktop, please
double click I-O Quick Connection on that desktop.

To access Microsoft Remote Desktop services, please do the following:

2. On the appeared window, type in the computer name or IP address of the
remote computer, user name, password, and domain (if any), and then
click Connect.
NOTE: To discover available MultiPoint Server systems over your network,

Accessing Citrix Services
Connecting to the Server
To connect to the server where the Citrix Web Interface is hosted, please
do the following:
1. Click
2. On the appeared I-O Citrix Connection screen, enter the
IP address / URL / FQDN of the server, and then click Log On.
NOTE: FQDN is the acronym of Fully Qualied Domain Name.

Logging On to Citrix Services
When connected, the Citrix Logon screen appears. The appeared screen may vary
with the service type and version.
NOTE: A message ‘This Connection is Untrusted’ might appear. Consult the
IT administrator for details and ensure the connection is secure rst. To import a
certicate, click Setup

address of the VMware View Connection Server,

message about the remote server.
Consult the IT administrator for details and
ensure the connection is secure rst. To import a certicate, click
Setup

3. A Welcome window might appear, click OK to continue.
4. A window appears prompting for the credentials. Enter your user name,
password, click the Domain drop-down menu to select the domain,
and then click OK.
5. A window appears with available desktops for the provided credentials.
Double click to select the desired desktop.
