introductie
De thermometer is ontwikkeld voor een nauwkeurige, veilige en
snelle meting van de lichaamstemperatuur in het oor en op het
voorhoofd.
Het apparaat is bedoeld voor periodieke controles van de
lichaamstemperatuur binnenshuis.
Het apparaat mag gebruikt worden voor mensen van alle leeftijden,
behalve premature babies of te lichte babies. De patient mag de
gebruiker zijn. De patient kan zelf metingen uitvoeren, de batterijen
vervangen onder normale omstandigheden en het apparaat en de
accessoires onderhouden volgens de handleiding.
Onderzoek wijst uit dat het oor een ideale plek is voor het meten
van de lichaamstemperatuur. Omdat de lichaamstemperatuur
wordt geregeld door de hypothalamus, die dezelfde bloedtoevoer
als het trommelvlies heeft. Dus meet de temperatuur zo veel
mogelijk via het oor.

Om een nauwkeurig resultaat te krijgen, is het noodzakelijk om een
meting juist uit te voeren.
Lees daarom deze handleiding zorgvuldig door voor het gebruik.
• Gebruik van deze thermometer is niet bedoeld als vervanging
van een doktersconsult. Meetresultaten zijn alleen ter
indicatie. Neem contact op met uw arts als naar uw mening uw
gezondheidstoestand slecht is.

• De infrarood sensor moet schoon, droog en
onbeschadigd blijven om een goede meting te
garanderen.
• Oorsmeer in de gehoorgang of vet op
het voorhoofd kan een verkeerde meting

veroorzaken. Zorg er dus voor dat de
gehoorgang of het voorhoofd schoon is.
• Als u het oor of het voorhoofd schoon maakt,
moet u 5 tot 10 minuten wachten voordat u een

• De infrarood sensor niet aanraken of erop
blazen. Een vuile infrarood sensor kan een
verkeerde meting geven.
NIET GOED
• Gebruik deze thermometer enkel voor
het meten van de lichaamstemperatuur via het oor of het
voorhoofd.
• Vermijd het meten van de lichaamstemperatuur via het oor als
deze ontstekingsverschijnselen heeft.
• Als de omgevingstemperatuur sterk afwijkt van de ruimte waarin
de meting plaats zal vinden, wacht dan 30 minuten voordat u de
meting uitvoert.
• Houd het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen en dieren om
te voorkomen dat ze kleine onderdelen inslikken.
• Laat kinderen niet zonder toezicht hun temperatuur meten.
Kinderen zijn niet in staat om het apparaat te gebruiken volgens
de instructies in de handleiding. De thermometer is geen
speelgoed.
• Explosiegevaar! Werp batterijen niet in vuur.
• Bewaar het apparaat niet in extreme temperaturen (onder
-20°C/-4°F of boven 55°C/131°F ) of extreme vochtigheid (onder
15%RH of boven 90%RH). Het niet opvolgen van deze instructie
kan leiden tot onnauwkeurige metingen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet in een nat oor net na het zwemmen of
nadat de persoon net in bad is geweest. U kunt de gehoorgang
beschadigen.
• Gebruik de thermometer niet als deze beschadigd is
(bijvoorbeeld als de sensor stuk is). Als u de thermometer toch
blijft gebruiken, kan dit letsel veroorzaken en de resultaten
kunnen onnauwkeurig zijn.

• Repareer het apparaat niet zelf. De garantie zal vervallen. Neem
contact op met uw leverancier.
• Gebruik geen mobiele apparatuur, zoals een mobiele telefoon, in
de buurt als er metingen worden uitgevoerd.
• Haal de batterijen uit het apparaat als u deze langere tijd niet
gaat gebruiken. Als er een batterij is gaan lekken, moet u deze
voorzichtig verwijderen. Let goed op dat er geen lekkende
vloeistof op de huid komt.
• Dit apparaat heeft speciale voorschriften nodig aangaande EMC
en moet geïnstalleerd en gebruikt worden volgens de EMC
informatie. Dit apparaat kan beïnvloed worden door draagbare
en mobiele RF communicatie apparatuur.
• Bewaar de thermometer op een droge, schone plek. Bescherm
het apparaat tegen directe zonnestralen, extreem hoge of lage
temperaturen, verontreinigingen en stof.
• Dompel de thermometer nooit in water of andere
vloeistoffen onder.
• Raak de patient en de batterijen tijdens het gebruik niet
tegelijkertijd aan.
• Bij vragen over het apparaat, zoals het ingebruik nemen,
onderhouden of gebruik, kunt u contact opnemen met de
klantenservice van Inventum.
• Neem contact op met de klantenservice als er een onverwachte
werking van het apparaat is.

De normale lichaamstemperatuur is een bereik. Het normale
bereik van een persoon kan verlagen naar mate men ouder wordt.
De onderstaande tabel toont het normale temperatuurbereik op
leeftijd:

Het bereik van de normale temperatuur kan per persoon verschillen
en kan beïnvloed worden door verschillende factoren, zoals tijdstip,
activiteit, medicaties, gemoedstoestand, enzovoort.
Oefen daarom met de thermometer en voer metingen op uzelf
en familieleden uit in gezonde toestand. U weet dan hoe de
thermometer werkt als u deze daadwerkelijk nodig heeft en zo kunt
u ook op de resultaten vertrouwen als er iemand ziek is.

Voordat u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt, doet u het
volgende: pak het apparaat voorzichtig uit en verwijder het
verpakkingsmateriaal. Houd het materiaal (plastic zakken en karton)
buiten het bereik van kinderen. Controleer het apparaat na het
uitpakken op beschadiging, mogelijk door het transport.
1. Om nauwkeurige metingen te krijgen, is het
belangrijk dat de infrarood sensor schoon is
voor het gebruik. Reinig de sensor met een
wattenstaafje die iets vochtig gemaakt is
met alcohol. Maak de sensor direct droog met een schoon
wattenstaafje. Laat de sensor 20 minuten drogen voordat er
metingen uitgevoerd worden.
2. Oorsmeer in de gehoorgang of vet op het voorhoofd kan
een verkeerde meting veroorzaken. Zorg er dus voor dat de
gehoorgang of het voorhoofd schoon is. Als u het oor of het
voorhoofd schoon maakt, moet u 20 minuten wachten voordat
u een meting uitvoert.
3. Als de omgevingstemperatuur sterk afwijkt van de ruimte waarin
de meting plaats zal vinden, wacht dan 30 minuten voordat u de
meting uitvoert.
4. Open het batterijklepje en verwijder het stripje bij
de batterijen wanneer u de thermometer voor de
eerste keer gaat gebruiken. De thermometer gaat
automatisch aan en geeft een piepsignaal.
Let op:
In de standby modus toont het LCD display
afwisselend de tijd en de huidige kamertemperatuur.

1. Verwijder het beschermkapje van de thermometer
voor gebruik. Houd de thermometer vast zoals
afgebeeld met uw duim op de knop voor de
voorhoofdmeting.
• Druk nog niet op de knop.
• Zorg ervoor dat de meetpunt schoon is.
• Let op dat u de juiste knop indrukt voor de meting.
Drukt u op de knop van de oormeting terwijl u een
voorhoofd meting uitvoerd dan zullen de waarden
niet correct zijn.
2. Plaats de thermometer zachtjes op 1 cm van het
voorhoofd zodat deze gecentreerd is tussen de
wenkbrauwen en de haarlijn. De sensor mag de
huid niet raken. Druk op de knop om de meting te
starten.
3. Houd de thermometer tegen het voorhoofd totdat
de temperatuur verteld wordt of totdat u het
geluidssignaal hoort. De meting is gedaan en u kunt
de thermometer van het voorhoofd af halen.
4. De temperatuur is ook zichtbaar op het display.
De innovatieve infrarood technologie meet de
temperatuur binnen 2 seconden, ongeacht of de meting via het oor
of het voorhoofd gedaan wordt.

1. Verwijder het beschermkapje van de thermometer
voor gebruik. Houd de thermometer vast zoals
afgebeeld met uw duim op de knop .
• Druk nog niet op de knop.
• Zorg ervoor dat de sensor schoon is.
2. Steek de meetpunt heel voorzichtig en rustig in het
gehoorgang.
• Richt de infrarood sensor op het trommelvlies.
• Omdat de gehoorgang licht gebogen is, moet u
het oor iets naar boven en naar achteren trekken
om de sensor goed te plaatsen.
• Voer een meting altijd uit in hetzelfde oor.
3. Druk op de knop om de meting te starten. Houd de
meetpunt stil totdat de temperatuur verteld wordt
of totdat u het geluidssignaal hoort.
4. Neem de thermometer uit het oor. Het
LCD display toont de gemeten temperatuur.
U kunt een nieuwe meting uitvoeren zodra het
symbool “ ” is verdwenen.
• Let op dat u de juiste knop indrukt voor de meting. Drukt u
op de knop van de voorhoofdmeting terwijl u een oormeting
uitvoerd dan zullen de waarden niet correct zijn.

1. Een temperatuurmeting in het rechteroor kan
afwijken van een meting in het linkeroor. Meet
daarom altijd de temperatuur in hetzelfde oor.
2. De temperatuur kan door verschillende factoren
beïnvloed worden, vooral als de persoon:
• op het oor gelegen heeft;
• de oren afgedekt heeft met bijv. oorwarmers;
• blootgesteld is aan hele warme of koude temperaturen;
• recent heeft gezwommen of in bad is geweest.
In een dergelijk geval moet men 30 minuten wachten voordat de
meting opnieuw uitgevoerd kan worden.

3. Indien personen gehoorapparaten of oordopjes dragen, moeten
deze verwijderd worden. Wacht 30 minuten voordat er een
meting uitgevoerd wordt.
4. Als er oordruppels of andere medicatie gebruikt wordt in het oor,
moet de meting in het andere oor gedaan worden.

Wanneer de gemeten temperatuur in het volgende bereik valt
37.6°C ~ 42.9°C (99.6°F ~ 109.3°F), zal er een rood licht verschijnen
in de knop op de achterzijde koorts indicatie.

Er zijn 30 geheugen posities om oor- en voorhoofdsmetingen op
te slaan.
De huidige meting wordt altijd opgeslagen op de laatste positie.
Wanneer alle geheugen posities vol zijn, zal de oudste meting
verwijderd worden uit het geheugen.
Druk op de [MEM] geheugenknop om de temperatuur
en de datum te contoleren zoals afgebeeld.
Druk opnieuw op de [MEM] geheugenknop om
de temperatuur en datum van een volgende
geheugenpositie te zien.
Houd de [MEM] geheugenknop ingedrukt om de
informatie in het geheugen snel te bekijken.
Als de [MEM] geheugenknop gedurende 5 seconden
niet ingedrukt wordt, keert het display terug naar de standby
modus.
Let op: wanneer de batterijen vervangen worden, zal het geheugen
automatisch gewist worden.

Open het batterijklepje en druk op de [TALK]
spraakknop om de thermometer aan te zetten. Houd
de [MEM] geheugenknop ingedrukt gedurende 2
seconden om in de instelmodus te komen.
Druk op de [MEM] geheugenknop om de waarde te
verhogen die u gekozen heeft (bijv. jaartal of maand).
Houd de [MEM] geheugenknop ingedrukt om de
waarde sneller te verhogen.
Druk op de [TALK] spraakknop om de instelling te
wisselen naar uren, minuten, jaartal (2001~2099),
maanden, dagen en slaapmodus (aan of uit).
Wanneer de slaapmodus geactiveerd is, zal de
thermometer automatisch uitschakelen na 1 minuut
of 3minuten (afhankelijk van de fabriekinstelling).
Als de slaapmodus gedeactiveerd is (OFF), zal de
thermometer aanblijven staan - standby modus.
Om de batterijen te besparen, adviseren wij om de
slaapmodus aan te zetten (ON).

Druk op de [TALK] spraakknop in het batterijvakje om de
thermometer aan te zetten. Houd de [TALK] spraakknop
gedurende 2 seconden ingedrukt om de spreektaal te selecteren
die u wilt. Elke keer als u de bovenstaande stap uitvoert, zal er
automatisch een andere taal gekozen worden. Voer de stap uit
totdat de juiste taal geselecteerd is.
De volgorde is: NL - EN- GE - FR - [--]=geen spraak.
KEUZE CELSIUS/ FAHRENHEIT
Houd de knoppen [MEM] en voorhoofdmeting ingedrukt om
de instelling te wijzigen van Celsius (°C) naar Fahrenheit (°F)
en andersom wanneer de thermometer in de standby modus,
meetmodus of geheugenmodus is.

Wanneer de batterijen bijna leeg zijn, verschijnt het

Om zeker te zijn van juiste metingen is het belangrijk dat de
infrarood sensor schoon is en geen krassen heeft.
Vingerafdrukken, oorsmeer of vuil zullen de nauwkeurigheid van de
thermometer nadelig beïnvloeden.
Om een nauwkeurige meting te doen, moet de
infrarood sensor gereinigd worden.
Reinig de sensor voorzichtig met een wattenstaafje
die vochtig gemaakt is met alcohol en maak de sensor
direct droog met een schoon wattenstaafje.
Gebruik een zachte, droge doek om de rest van de
thermometer te reinigen.
Reinig de thermometer nooit met agressieve
reinigingsmiddelen en dompel de thermometer nooit
onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
Plaats de thermometer na het reinigen in de bijgeleverde
houder. Bewaar de thermometer in een schone, droge ruimte op
kamertemperatuur. Stel de thermometer niet bloot aan extreme
temperaturen, vochtigheid, direct zonlicht of schokken.
KALIBRATIE
De thermometer is gekalibreerd tijdens de productie. Als
de thermometer gebruikt wordt volgens de instructies in de
handleiding is het niet nodig om de thermometer opnieuw te
kalibreren.
Wanneer u een vraag heeft over een meting kunt u contact
opnemen met uw leverancier of de klantenservice van Inventum.
Probeer de thermometer niet te modificeren of na demontage,
opnieuw te monteren.

The thermometer has been carefully developed for accurate, safe
and fast human body temperature measurements in the ear and on
the forehead.
The reference body site is core and the mode of operation is
adjusted mode. The device is intended for the intermittent
monitoring of human body temperature in the home.
It is intended for use on people of all ages except pre-term babies
or light-for-date babies. The patient may be an intended operator.
The patient can measure and change batteries under normal
circumstances and maintain the device and its accessories
according to the user manual.
Research indicates that the ear is an ideal site for taking body
temperature. Because the body temperature is regulated by the
hypothalamus, which shares the same blood supply as the
tympanic membrane. So please take the ear temperature as much
as possible.

• This product needs special precautions regarding EMC and
needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC
information provided, and this unit can be affected by portable

• The materials (e.g. ABS) of expect contact with patient had
passed the ISO 10993-5 and ISO 10993-10 standards test,
no toxicity, allergy and irritation reaction. However, based on
the current science and technology, other potential allergic
reactions are unknown.

The normal body temperature is a range. A person' s normal
temperature range tends to decrease with increasing age. The
following table shows normal temperature ranges by age:

The range of normal temperature varies from person to person
and can be influenced by many factors such as time of day, level of
activity, medications, emotion and so on.
So we recommend that you practice with the thermometer on
yourself and family members when you are healthy. This way you
know how the thermometer works and you feel more confident of
the measurements you take when a family member is ill.

Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows:
carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the packaging
material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of
reach of children. Check the appliance after unpacking for any
damage which may have occurred during transport.
1. To achieve accurate measurements, it is very
important to check that the infrared sensor is
clean before using. To clean the sensor, gently
wipe its surface with a cotton swab that is slightly
moistened with alcohol and immediately wipe
dry with a clean cotton swab. After cleaning, allow at least 20
minutes drying time before taking temperatures.
2. Earwax in the ear canal or lipid on the forehead may cause
an inaccurate measurement, so make sure the ear canal or
forehead is clean. If you clean the ear or forehead, please wait for
5~10 minutes before measuring.

3. If the temperature of the storage area of the thermometer
differs a lot from that of the measuring area, please wait 30
minutes before measuring.
4. Please open the battery cover and remove the
insulating piece for the batteries when you use the
thermometer for the first time. The thermometer
turns on automatically and will give a beep signal.

In waiting mode, the LCD circularly displays the time
and the current room temperature.

2. Place the thermometer 1 cm from the forehead so
that the sensor is centered between the eyebrows
and the hairline. The sensor should not touch the
skin. Press the button to start the measurement.
3. Keep the thermometer flat against the forehead
until you hear the temperature broadcast or the
sound signal. The measurement is complete and
the thermometer may be removed from the head.
4. Read the temperature on the display.

forehead temperature in under 2 seconds, whether
you take ear or forehead temperature.

rear of the head to straighten the ear canal.
• Always insert the thermometer into the same
ear with the same direction and depth.
3. Press the button to start the
measurement. Keeping the probe flat until you
hear the temperature broadcast or the sound
signal.
4. Remove the thermometer from the ear canal. The
LCD displays the measured temperature. You can
measure again after the symbol “ ” disappears.
• Make sure you press the right button. When you press the button of a
forehead measurement whilst performing an ear measurement, the
measurement will be incorrect.

1. A temperature measurement taken in the right ear
may differ from a measurement taken in the left
ear. Therefore, always take the temperature in the
same ear.
2. External factors may influence ear and forehead
temperatures, particularly when an individual has:
• been lying on one ear or the other
• had their ears covered
• been exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures, or

• been recently swimming or bathing.
In these cases, remove the individual from the situation and wait
for 30 minutes prior to taking a temperature again.
3. For persons wearing hearing aids or ear plugs, remove the device
and wait 30 minutes prior to taking a temperature.
4. Use the untreated ear if ear drops or other ear medications have
been placed in the ear canal.

last storage space. When all storage spaces have
been occupied, the oldest measurement is always
deleted from the memory.

Press [MEM] button to increase the parameter
which you selected. Press and hold [MEM] button to

Press [TALK] button to switch the settings of hour,
minute, year (2001~2099), month, day and sleep
mode (ON or OFF).
When the sleep mode is active, the thermometer
will turn off automatically about 1min or 3min (which
is factory default); when the sleep mode is
deactivated, the thermometer remains power on.
To save power, we recommended to set the sleep
mode ON.

When the low battery indicator “
LCD, or the thermometer does not function at all, you
should replace the batteries as soon as possible.
The thermometer is supplied with two batteries
(2xAAA). Remove the battery cover and take out the
batteries. Insert new AAA batteries into the
battery compartment.
Make sure you are installing the batteries properly, be
sure to match the positive and negative ends of the
battery to the marking in the battery compartment of
the thermometer.

To ensure accurate measurements, keeping the infrared sensor tip
clean and free of scratches is very important. Finger prints, earwax
or dirt will affect the accuracy of the thermometer.
In order to get an accurate measurement, please
clean the probe tip.
Gently wipe its surface with a cotton swab slightly
moistened with alcohol and immediately wipe dry
with a clean cotton swab.
Use a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the
thermometer. Never clean the thermometer with an
abrasive cleanser, thinner, benzene or submerge the
thermometer into water or other liquids.
After cleaning, place the thermometer in the table stand holder.
Store it in a clean, dry place at room temperature. Never expose the
thermometer to extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight
or shock.
CALIBRATION
The thermometer is initially calibrated at the time of the
manufacture. If the thermometer is used according to the
instruction, periodic recalibration is not required. If at any time you
question the accuracy of the measurement, please contact the
retailer immediately.

2 jaar volledige fabrieksgarantie
1. Op alle producten van Inventum krijg je als consument
standaard 2 jaar volledige fabrieksgarantie. Binnen deze periode
wordt een defect product of onderdeel altijd gratis omgeruild
voor een nieuw exemplaar. Om aanspraak te maken op de 2
jaar volledige fabrieksgarantie, kun je teruggaan naar de winkel
waar je het product hebt gekocht of contact opnemen met de
consumentenservice van Inventum via het contactformulier op
www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag.
2. De garantieperiode van 2 jaar begint te lopen op de datum van
aankoop van het product.
3. Voor het recht op garantie dien je een kopie van het originele
aankoopbewijs te kunnen overleggen.
4. De garantie geldt uitsluitend bij normaal huishoudelijk gebruik
van de Inventum producten binnen Nederland.
Storingen of defecten buiten de garantieperiode
1. In geval van storingen of defecten aan klein huishoudelijke
apparatuur of groot huishoudelijke apparatuur buiten de

2. De consumentenservice kan je vragen het product voor
onderzoek of reparatie op te sturen. De kosten van verzending
zijn voor jouw rekening.
3. Aan het onderzoek naar de mogelijkheid tot repareren zijn

4. Bij groot huishoudelijke apparatuur kan Inventum op jouw
verzoek een witgoedmonteur sturen. De voorrijkosten,

je in rekening gebracht.
5. In geval van opdracht tot reparatie moeten de reparatiekosten
vooraf worden voldaan. Bij reparatie door een witgoedmonteur,
dienen de kosten van de reparatie ter plaatse bij de monteur, bij
voorkeur via pinbetaling, te worden afgerekend.
Uitgesloten van garantie
1. De hiervoor genoemde garanties gelden niet in geval van:
• normale slijtage;
• onoordeelkundig of oneigenlijk gebruik;
• onvoldoende onderhoud;
• het niet in acht nemen van de bedienings- en
onderhoudsvoorschriften;
• ondeskundige montage of reparatie door derden of door de
consument zelf;
• door de consument toegepaste niet originele onderdelen;
• zakelijk of bedrijfsmatig gebruik;
• het serienummer en/of rating-label is verwijderd.
2. Tevens geldt de garantie niet voor normale verbruiksartikelen,
zoals:
• kneedhaken, bakblikken, (koolstof)filters, etc.;
• batterijen, lampjes, koolstoffilters, vetfilters enz.;
• externe verbindingskabels;
• glazen accessoires en glazen delen zoals ovendeuren;
• en soortgelijke zaken.
3. Buiten de garantie vallen transportschades, voor zover deze
niet door Inventum zijn veroorzaakt. Controleer daarom je
nieuwe apparatuur voordat je deze in gebruik neemt. Als je
beschadigingen aantreft, dien je deze binnen 5 werkdagen
na aankoop te melden bij de winkel waar je het product
hebt gekocht, of bij de consumentenservice van Inventum
via het contactformulier op de website www.inventum.eu/
service-aanvraag. Indien transportschades niet binnen deze
termijn worden gemeld, aanvaardt Inventum geen enkele
aansprakelijkheid ter zake.

4. Van garantie en/of vervanging zijn uitgesloten: defecten
aan, verlies en beschadiging aan het apparaat als gevolg
van een gebeurtenis die gewoonlijk verzekerd is onder de
inboedelverzekering.
Van belang om te weten
1. Vervanging of herstel van een defect product of een onderdeel
daarvan leidt niet tot verlenging van de
oorspronkelijke garantietermijn.
2. Indien een klacht ongegrond is, komen alle kosten die daardoor
zijn ontstaan voor rekening van de consument.
3. Na verloop van de garantietermijn worden alle kosten voor
herstel of vervanging, inclusief administratie-, verzend- en
voorrijkosten aan de consument in rekening gebracht.
4. Inventum is niet aansprakelijk voor schade veroorzaakt door
van buiten het apparaat ontstane oorzaken, tenzij deze
aansprakelijkheid voortvloeit uit dwingendrechtelijke bepalingen.
5. Op deze garantie- en servicevoorwaarden is Nederlands recht
van toepassing. Geschillen zullen uitsluitend worden berecht
door de bevoegde Nederlandse rechter.

general terms and conditions of service and warranty
We do not need to remind you of the importance of service.
After all, we develop our products to a standard so that you
can enjoy them for many years, without any concerns. If,
nevertheless, there is a problem, we believe you are entitled
to a solution straight away. Hence our products come with
an exchange service, on top of the rights and claims you are
entitled to by law. By exchanging a product or part, we save you
time, effort and costs.
2-year full manufacturer’s warranty
1. Customers enjoy a 2-year full manufacturer’s warranty on all
Inventum products. Within this period, a faulty product or part
will always be exchanged for a new model, free of charge. In
order to claim under the 2-year full manufacturer’s warranty,
you can either return the product to the shop you bought it from
or contact the Inventum costumer service department via the
form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag.
2. The 2-year warranty period starts from the date the product is
bought.
3. In order to claim under the warranty, you must produce a copy of
the original receipt.
4. The warranty applies only to normal domestic use of Inventum
products within the Netherlands.
Breakdowns or faults outside the warranty period
1. Breakdowns or faults in small or large domestic appliances
outside the warranty period, can be reported to the costumer
services department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-
aanvraag or by calling the costumer services department.
2. The costumer services department may ask you to send the
product for inspection or repair. The costs of dispatch will be at
your expense.
3. The inspection to establish whether repair is possible involves a
charge. You need to grant your permission for this, in advance.
4. In the event of a large domestic appliance, Inventum, at your
request, can send out a service engineer. In that case, you will be

charged the call-out costs, as well as parts and labour.
5. In the event of an instruction to repair, the repair costs must be
paid in advance. In the event of a repair by a service engineer,
the costs of the repair must be settled with the engineer onsite,
preferably by means of PIN payment.
Warranty exclusions
1. The following is excluded from the aforesaid warranties:
• normal wear and tear;
• improper use or misuse;
• insufficient maintenance;
• failure to comply with the operating and maintenance
instructions;
• unprofessional installation or repairs by third parties or the
customer himself;
• non-original parts used by the customer;
• use for commercial or business purposes;
• removal of the serial number and/or rating label.
2. In addition, the warranty does not apply to normal consumer
goods, such as:
• dough hooks, baking tins, (carbon) filters, etc.;
• batteries, bulbs, carbon filters, fat filters etc.;
• external connection cables;
• glass accessories and glass parts such as oven doors;
• and similar items.
3. Transport damage not caused by Inventum is also excluded.
Therefore, inspect your new device before starting to use it.
If you detect any damage, you must report this to the store
where you purchased the product within 5 working days, or to
the Inventum customer service department via the form at
www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag. If transport damage is
not reported within this period, Inventum does not accept any
liability in this respect.
4. The following are excluded from warranty and/or replacement:
faults, loss of and damage to the device as a result of an event
that is normally insured under the home contents insurance.

Important to know
1. The replacement or repair of a faulty product, or a part thereof,
does not lead to an extension of the original warranty period.
2. If a complaint is unfounded, all costs arising from it will be at the
customer’s expense.
3. Following expiry of the warranty period, all costs of repair or
replacement, including administration costs, dispatch and callout charges, will be charged to the customer.
4. Inventum cannot be held liable for damage caused by external
events, unless this liability arises from mandatory statutory
provisions.
5. These warranty and service provisions are governed by Dutch
law. Disputes will be settled exclusively by the competent Dutch
court.
