Basic Parameters Consideration
• Higher energy for:
o Thicker and softer skin. Reduce on thin skin and over bone
o Large area. Reduce on small area
• Temperature as high as tolerable. Longer treatment with 40-41
o
C than with 42-43oC
• Thicker gel on bony area. Add gel during treatment in small amounts to avoid area cooling

Pretreatment
• Clean hand piece tip with alcohol 70% or other disinfectant
• Clean treatment area and mark it:
o Facial zone is ~10x10cm - forehead, left face, right face, left neck, right neck
o Body zone is ~15x15cm

Treatment Procedure
• Always start with a low settings level to check patient tolerance.
• Apply handpiece to the treated area ensuring a contact with slight pressure, and
press footswitch to deliver RF energy.
• Move handpiece over the skin slowly back and forth or in circles along the gravity
lines in the defined zone to ensure uniform heating of the treated zone. Movement
amplitude should be at least double of spot size to avoid hot spots.
• When skin temperature reaches cut-off limit, continue to treat for another ~10
minutes, maintaining the temperature all over the treatment zone.
• Repeat treatment for another zone.
Post Treatment
• Moisturizer may be applied after each treatment.
• Make-up may be applied immediately after the treatment.
Treatment Schedule
The number of treatments is typically ~8 sessions once a week.
Expected Results
• Tightening – Skin tightening is the most visible result. Best results are reported on
the submental area with good results on the nasolabial folds.
• Wrinkles and lines – Fine lines respond better than deep wrinkles.
• Skin quality – Most patients report an improvement in skin quality, being glowing
and radiant.
Tips
• Slight discomfort at the beginning of the treatment may result from the lower
measured temperature than the internal temperature, due to the cold electrodes. This
sensation fades as the electrodes warm up.
• Moving hand piece rapidly from a cold area to a warmer area may mislead the
temperature sensor. Try to treat each zone in a uniform manner. Marking the area
may help you staying within the zone borders.
• Avoid using Firm/Plus on fillers as per the contraindications in the Operator Manual.
