1.3Warranty
Invacareguaranteesthattheirwheelchairsarefreefromdefectsand arefullyfunctional.Thewarrantycoversallfaultsanddefectswhich areverifiablyattributabletofaultyconstruction,substandardmaterials orpoorworkmanship.Warrantyclaimsagainstthemanufacturermay onlybemadebythedistributorandnotbytheuseroftheproduct.
Thewarrantydoesnotcovernormalwearandtear,the consequencesofimproperhandlingordamage,poormaintenance andincorrectassemblyorcommissioningbythepurchaserorathird personorfaultswhichareattributabletocircumstancesbeyond ourcontrol.Wearingpartsarenotcoveredbytheguarantee.The warrantyisvoidedifmodificationsaremadetotheproductwhich werenotauthorizedandnotperformedbythespecialistdealeror ifinappropriateaccessoriesorsparepartsareused.Thewarranty doesnotcoverconsequentialcostsarisingfromtherectificationof defectssuchasfreightandtravelexpenses,laborcosts,feesetc.
Thetermofthewarrantyis24months.
Furthermore,thetermsandconditionsarepartofthegeneralterms andconditionsparticulartotheindividualcountriesinwhichthe productissold.
1.4StandardsandRegulations
Qualityisfundamentaltothecompany’soperation,workingwithin thedisciplinesofISO9001andISO13485.
ThewheelchairhasbeentestedinaccordancewithEN12183.It includesatestforflammability(EN1021-2andISO8191-2).
Invacareiscontinuouslyworkingtowardsensuringthatthecompany’s impactontheenvironment,locallyandglobally,isreducedtoa minimum.WeuseonlyREACHcompliantmaterialsandcomponents.
1.5Intendeduse
Themediumactivewheelchairispropelledmanuallyandshouldonly beusedforindependentorassistedtransportofadisabledperson withmobilitydifficulties.Whenusedwithoutanassistant,itshould onlybeusedbypersonswhoarephysicallyandmentallyableto usethewheelchairsafely(e.g.topropelthemselves,steer,brake). Thewheelchairshouldonlybeusedonlevelgroundandaccessible terrain,aswellasindoors.Thismediumactivewheelchairneedsto besubscribedandfittoyourspecifichealthcondition.

3.Pulltheinnertubeoutofthetire.
4.Repairtheinnertubeusingabicyclerepairkitor,ifnecessary, replacethetube.
5.Inflatethetubeslightlyuntilitbecomesround.
6.Insertthevalveintothevalveholeontherimandplacethetube insidethetire(thetubeshouldlierightroundthetirewithno creases).
