 Esta interfaz debe ser instalada por personal técnico

acreditado (electricista, instalador de KNX, o personal
técnico cualificado) siguiendo todas las instrucciones
de seguridad indicadas en este manual y de acuerdo
con la legislación vigente en su país para la
instalación de equipos eléctricos.

 Esta interfaz sólo puede instalarse en lugares de

acceso restringido y no debe instalarse nunca a la

intemperie o donde pueda incidirle directamente
agua, humedad, radiación solar o polvo.

 Antes de manipular el aire acondicionado, asegúrese

de que está completamente desconectado de la red
eléctrica.

 Desconecte siempre la tensión del bus KNX, la unidad

de aire acondicionado y la fuente de alimentación
externa antes de manipularlos y conectarlos a la
interfaz.

 Se debe utilizar una fuente de alimentación conforme

NEC Class 2 o Fuente de alimentación limitada (LPS)
y tipo SELV.

 Suministre una tensión adecuada para alimentar la

interfaz, dentro de los rangos admitidos (ver
características técnicas).

 Respete siempre la polaridad de los cables de

alimentación y comunicación cuando los conecte a la
interfaz.

 En caso de instalar la interfaz en el interior de la

unidad interior de aire acondicionado, fije la interfaz
y los cables de comunicación preferiblemente en
algún punto de la carcasa de plástico de forma que
no interfieran al libre movimiento de partes móviles y
alejados al máximo de tubos conductores de líquido y
cables de potencia.

 Para prevenir perturbaciones de EMC, se recomienda

que las líneas de las entradas sean extendidas de
forma que queden lo menos paralelamente posible a
los conductores de voltaje principal de 230V.

 Este dispositivo se ha diseñado para instalarse dentro

de un envolvente tipo armario eléctrico. Para evitar
descargas electrostáticas a la unidad en ambientes
con niveles estáticos por encima de 4 kV, se deben
tomar precauciones cuando el dispositivo se instale
fuera de un envolvente. Cuando se trabaja en un
envolvente (por ejemplo, realizando ajustes,
manipulando interruptores, etc.), se deben tomar las
precauciones típicas antiestáticas antes de tocar el
equipo.

Safety instructions

 This interface must be installed by accredited

technical personnel (electrician, KNX installer, or
authorized technical personnel) and following all the
safety instructions given here and in accordance
always with the country legislation for installation of
electric equipment.

 This interface cannot be installed outdoors or

exposed to direct solar radiation, water, high relative
humidity or dust and must only be installed in a
restricted access location.

 Before manipulating the AC indoor unit, be sure it is

completely disconnected from the mains electricity
supply.

 Disconnect always from the mains electricity supply

any wires from the KNX bus, the AC indoor unit and
the external power supply before manipulating and
connecting them to the interface.

 A power supply with an NEC Class 2 or Limited Power

Source (LPS) and SELV rated is to be used.

 Supply always a correct voltage to power the

interface in between the admitted range (see details
in the technical characteristics).

 Respect always the expected polarity of power and

communication cables when connecting them to the
interface.

 In case of installation of the interface inside the AC

indoor unit, fix the interface and communication
cables preferably to any appropriate point of the
plastic cover of the unit, taking care of no blocking
free movement of mobile parts, and as far as
possible from tubes containing liquids and power
cables.

 To prevent EMC disturbances, ensure that there is a

safety separation (SELV) of the connected signal
cables (including possible extensions) from the other
voltage carrying devices and cables.

 This device was designed for installation in an

enclosure. To avoid electrostatic discharge to the unit
in environments with static levels above 4 kV
precautions should be taken when the device is
mounted outside an enclosure. When working in an
enclosure (ex. making adjustments, setting switches
etc.) typical anti-static precautions should be
observed before touching the unit.

y/o en la unidad de aire acondicionado.

Follow carefully this safety and installation instructions.
Improper work may lead to serious harmful for your
health and also may damage seriously the interface and/or
the AC indoor unit.

IMPORTANTE: La longitud máxima del bus H-Link es

de 1000 m. La ampliación del cable del bus puede
provocar un funcionamiento incorrecto. Mantenga el cable
de conexión lo más alejado posible del cableado eléctrico y
del cable de tierra, no los enrolle juntos.

IMPORTANT: The maximum length for the H-Link

bus is 1000 m. Extending the connecting cable may cause
it to malfunction. Keep the connecting cable as far away
as possible from electrical wires and ground wire. Do not
bundle them together.

 Disconnect the Air Conditioner from the mains

electricity supply.

 Disconnect power of any bus or communication cable

before connecting it to the interface.

 Disconnect from the mains electricity supply the

external power supply before connecting it to the
interface.

 Connect the H-Link bus cable between the interface

and the AC indoor unit following the instructions of
the installation diagram.

 Connect the KNX bus to the connector KNX of the

interface. Respect polarity.

 Close the AC indoor unit and reconnect it to the

mains electricity supply.

 Connect a NEC Class 2 or Limited Power Source

(LPS) and SELV rated power supply to the interface,
respect the polarity if DC power. Apply always a
voltage within the range admitted by the interface
and of enough power (see technical features).

 Circuit-breaker must be used before the power

supply. Rating 250V-6A

 Reconnect power supply to the KNX bus.
 Follow the instructions on the user's manual for

configuring and commissioning the interface.

Installation instructions

 Desconecte el aire acondicionado de la red eléctrica.

 Desconecte la tensión de alimentación de cualquier

bus de comunicación o cable antes de conectarlo a la
interfaz.

 Desconecte la tensión de la fuente de alimentación

externa antes de conectarla a la interfaz.

 Conecte el cable de conexión del bus H-Link entre la

interfaz y la unidad interior del aire acondicionado,
siguiendo las instrucciones del diagrama de abajo.

 Conecte el bus KNX al conector KNX del interfaz.

Respete la polaridad.

 Tape la unidad interior del aire acondicionado y

vuelva a conectarlo a la red eléctrica.

 Conecte la interfaz a una fuente de alimentación

conforme NEC Class 2 o Fuente de alimentación
limitada (LPS) y tipo SELV, respetando la polaridad si
es una fuente DC. Aplique siempre una tensión
dentro de los rangos admitidos por la interfaz y con
suficiente potencia (vea las características técnicas).

 Se debe utilizar un disyuntor antes de la fuente de

alimentación. Tipo 250V-6A.

 Conecte de nuevo la tensión de alimentación al bus

KNX.

 Siga las instrucciones del manual de usuario para la

configuración y puesta en servicio del interfaz.

Instrucciones de instalación

1. Debe utilizar una fuente de alimentación conforme NEC

Class 2 o Fuente de alimentación limitada (LPS) y tipo
SELV.

Si utiliza una fuente de alimentación de corriente
continua: Respete la polaridad de los terminales (+) y (-).
Asegúrese que la tensión suministrada está dentro de los
límites admitidos (10 a 40 Vdc). Si conecta la fuente a
tierra, conecte a tierra solo el terminal negativo, nunca el
terminal positivo.

Respect polarity applied of terminals (+) and (-). Be
sure the voltage applied is within the range admitted
(10 to 40 Vdc). The power supply can be connected to
earth but only through the negative terminal, never
through the positive terminal.
