Introduction
CountDown Touch is the ideal product for those events running to tight schedules.
The easy to navigate intuitive touch screen can be operated by the technician.
CountDown Touch works by displaying either real time or the elapsed/remaining time
on discreet numeric displays for the benefit of a presenter.
The system can be set to any required duration up to the maximum of 99 minutes and 59 seconds and can count up or down. CountDown Touch can also display the real time of day. To remind the presenter to summarize and conclude, the display digits can also be programmed to change colour from Green to Amber to Red.
A range of numeric tri-colour displays are available for long distance and up close viewing and Intelligent Lamp and Light Tower options can also be used to only show the colour change.
Professional Presenter Timekeeping
We hope that CountDown Touch exceeds your expectations and welcome any feedback that you have about this or any of our products.
Thank you.

Programming Memory
In the top left corner of the main screen there are 4 icons for Countdown, Countup, Memory and Tools. To change from countdown to countup you must pause or stop
the timer. The Memory and Tools buttons are immediate. The Memory page uses containers on the right side of the screen. Select which one of the 4 memories you want to edit, select count up or down. On the left select a container to edit the time, enter a new time and push the container again to save that time. Push Load to run the selected Memory.

Apply power to the main unit using the universal IEC power connector input on the back of the main unit. The touch screen will display a Splash Screen Page with the option to continue or to be directed to the Help pages.
The remote displays will remain off until either one of the profiles has been started or the clock mode has been selected.
Programming a Timer Profile
(Information about programming can also be found under the Help pages on the device
itself)
Please make sure you are using the latest firmware version.
For the latest firmware update go to our website www.interspaceind.com.
Setting Count Down
To set count down time use the up and down arrows. Use these buttons to set the total Green time and for setting Amber and Red Times. Push the Go button and the time will start counting down. Pushing the same button will pause the timer.
The Off button will turn off the display but the selected profile will continue to run.
Selecting one of the three traffic lights buttons will force the display to this colour and override the present colour. Select the same traffic light button again to turn off, the display will then return to the original colour.
Editing running time
Use the Update button and the Green time to cut or extend the display time while running. For example, to cut the display time by 2 minutes reduce the Green time by 2 minutes then push Update. There is no Update function on the Count Up screen.
Min/Sec button– The system powers up in minutes mode (Min) where just the minutes can be changed. To change to seconds select the Min button to show Sec and set the seconds for the Green, Amber and Red times.
The Zero button causes the Green, Amber and Red times to be set to zero. Use this in conjunction with the Update button to end a Count Down.

General Features
Count Up or Down. The system can be programmed to run a timer that counts up or
down.
Count Below Zero. The system can be set to continue counting below zero when countdown has finished running.
Colour Changes. The system can be programmed to change the colour of the remote display at pre-determined times during a timer profile. This provides a means of emphasising elapsed or remaining times. The remote displays can change from green to amber to red for remaining times. It can also be changed manually at any time during the profile.
Note: The twin LED colon between the hours and minutes digits on the remote displays is coloured red when the digits are either amber or green, and green when the digits turn red.
Intelligent Lamp Option. In addition to the numerical remote displays, tri-coloured
‘Intelligent Lamps’ can be used to simply display the colour changes to further empha-
sise the stages of the elapsed or remaining time. The lamps will change colour in the same way as the numerical remote displays, according to the programming of the profile that is running.
Flash Mode. At any time the remote displays and/or intelligent lamps can be made to flash to further emphasise the elapsed or remaining time. The flash feature can be used while displaying real time in clock mode also.
Pause Mode. At any time while a profile is running the remote display can be paused by selecting the Pause button from the main screen. This can be resumed at any time by pressing Go again which will take the system out of the pause mode. The real-time clock will continue to run despite the pausing of the time profile.
Programming ‘On the Fly’: CountDown Touch is designed so that an operator can program or edit timer profiles at any time while another timer profile is running or the system is in clock display mode. This allows for easy adjustments to the timing of an event whenever required.
7
Colour change. While a profile is running, a colour change can be implemented immediately by selecting the chosen colour on the touch screen.
