This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC
Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the

life, the spent battery should be disposed of by a qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler. Do not mix
this battery with the solid waste stream. Contact your Intermec Technologies Service Center for recycling or
disposal information.

Laser Compliance and Precaution

The CK3 is registered with the CDRH as a Class II Laser Product (21 CFR Subchapter J, Part 1040). This product has a maximum
output of 1 mW at 630-680 nm.

Caution: There are no user serviceable parts inside the CK3. Use of controls or adjustments, or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein, may result in hazardous laser light exposure of up to 1 mW at
630-680 nm.

This product complies with the following standards for laser and LED safety:

• IEC 60825-1 / EN 60825-1 - Class 1 LED Product (units with EV12 scan engine have no laser label)

This product is provided with a set of laser safety labels illustrated on the last page of this guide. If the appropriate label is not
installed on the device, locate the sheet of labels that was shipped with your device and place the appropriate label over the existing
label.

See the last page of this document for the laser safety labels.
Note: Products using the EV12 scan engine do not come with the labels mentioned above. These labels are only required for

products that incorporate lasers.
