INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Read instruction sheet carefully before installing fixture.
Retain instructions for future reference.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
A qualified electrician should complete all required wiring. This fixture is for use with 120V AC only and
must be properly grounded for safety. A mounting suitable for outdoor use and rated for wet locations is
required. Follow all applicable electrical codes and regulations.
WARNING:
Disconnect power at circuit breaker or fuse box before installing or servicing light.
WARNING:
USE MIN 90ºC SUPPLY CONDUCTORS.
CONNECT TO SUPPLY IN EXTERNAL JUNCTION BOX ONLY.
Lamp and housing become very hot during use.
Ensure free air circulation around unit to dissipate heat.
Avoid enclosed locations and locations where flammable debris (leaves, cut grass, etc.) might collect.
Avoid locations where humans or animals might accidentally touch fixture.
WARNING:
Never operate light without fixture lens secured in place. When light is operating, the gas in the lamp is
at high pressure.
Never operate light if the fixture lens is broken or missing.

MOUNTING & WIRING
Remove fixture lens cover by loosening two screws. (See Figure 2).

Remove reflector by loosening two screws to allow the reflector to slide upward until the keyholes

4. Using provided twist on or other approved connectors, connect the fixture wires to the supply
wires as follows: (See Figure 5)
a. Connect the Black fixture wire to the Black (hot) supply wire.
b. Connect the White fixture wire to the White (neutral) supply wire.
c. Connect the supply grounding wire to the fixture by hooking it around the green
grounding screw between the brass washer and screw head. Tighten the screw
securely.

Replace reflector; secure it with (2) screws.

6. Screw lamp into socket in lamp holder until finger-tight.
7. Replace fixture lens cover, secure it with (2) screws.
8. To operate, restore power to the circuit and switch light on.
LAMP REPLACEMENT

CAUTION:

Use lamp of correct type and wattage as specified on fixture.
2. Remove fixture lens cover by loosening (2) screws.
3. Remove old lamp and replace with new lamp of correct type and wattage. Screw lamp into socket
in lamp holder until finger-tight.

. Secure it with (2) screws, making sure that gasket is properly seated,
free of debris, and compressed to seal out moisture.
5. Turn power back on.
Properly dispose of lamp per manufacturer’s recommendations.

If within one (1) year from the date of purchase, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Intermatic Incorporated will repair or replace it, at its sole option, free of
charge. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. This warranty does not apply to: (a) damage to units caused by accident, dropping or abuse in
handling, acts of God or any negligent use; (b) units which have been subject to unauthorized repair, opened, taken apart or otherwise modified; (c) units not used in accordance with
instructions; (d) damages exceeding the cost of the product; (e) sealed lamps and/or lamp bulbs; (f) the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is
considered normal wear and tear; (g) transit damage, initial installation costs, removal costs, or reinstallation costs.
