Description
The PA-2100M/2200M is a mixer/amplifier designed for
applications where a variety of music and paging sources
are required, including restaurants, banquet halls,
community centers and retail shops. It has 100W(PA-
2100) or 200W(PA-2200) of output power and offers an
auto-reverse cassette deck, CD/MP3 player, two
auxiliary inputs and three balanced microphone inputs.
All sources are mixable, with individual gain controls.
Voice-activated priority muting, with an adjustable
muting level on Mic1 for muting all other channels . A
five-band equalizer provides ±12dB tone adjustment and
a four-note chime button provides a pleasant pre-page
tone. The cassette deck features auto-reverse and
record/playback capabilities. Indication of amplifier
output levels and AC power is supplied by front-panel
LED displays. Speaker outputs are provided for either
low impedance 4Ω loads or switch-selectable70V/100V
high impedance loads. Two speaker zones for high
impedance loads are independently selectable from the
front panel. The PA-2100M/2200M is powered by 100120VAC or 220-240VAC 50/60Hz (depending on country
requirements), and comes packaged in a shelf-mount
enclosure.

Architects and Engineers Specifications
The mixer/amplifier shall be capable
of 100W (PA-2100M) or 200W (PA2200M) RMS output. An autoreverse cassette deck shall provide
record and playback capabilities. A
mode switch shall allow selection of
single side, auto-reverse or
continuous playback functions. A CD/
MP3 player shall also be provided.
Inputs shall be provided for three
microphones and two line level
auxiliary inputs. Mic1 input shall be
located on the front panel and shall
feature priority voice activated muting
of all other channels. All sources
shall be fully mixable, with individual
gain controls for each channel. A
master volume control shall regulate
the amplifier signal level. A five-band
equalizer shall be provided to adjust
the tonal balance. A front-panel
chime button shall provide a four-tone
signal for pre-announcement
applications.
The chime shall mute all channels
except Mic1. Line level pre-amp
output (post-tone controls and
premaster) and power amplifier input
jacks normalized for a plug to break
the internal pre-amp signal input to
the amp shall provide for connection
of external signal processing
equipment. Speaker zone switches
shall provide two selectable 75V/
100V outputs. Front panel indicators
shall indicate amplifier output level,
as well as power-on indication.
The amplifier section shall meet the
following performance criteria:
Total harmonic distortion shall be
less than 1%; frequency response
shall be 150Hz to 12kHz; and signalto-noise ratio shall exceed 75dB.
Input sensitivity and impedance shall
be 1mV@20kΩ. for Mic 1-3 and
350mV@20kΩ. for Aux1/2.
The auto-reverse cassette deck shall
meet the following performance
criteria:
Frequency response shall be
125Hz to 8kHz and signal-to-noise
ratio shall exceed 40dB.
The CD/MP3 player shall meet the
following performance criteria:
Total harmonic distortion shall be
less than 0.2% and frequency
response shall be 20Hz to 20kHz.
The mixer/amplifier shall measure
17.3”(440mm) wide x 7”(177mm) high
x 15.4”(390mm) deep, and shall be
shelf mounting. The power source
shall be either 100-120VAC or 220240VAC 50/60Hz (depending on
country requirements). The power
shall be controlled from a front-panel
push-on/push-off switch, and indicated with a front-panel LED.
