Refer to Figures 1, 2 and 3 when performing the camera setup procedures.
Installation
When installing the camera, please use the mounting bracket.
To install the camera:
1. Using the mounting bracket as a template, place it level against the mounting surface and mark the position of the mounting holes.
2. Following all local codes, drill and prepare the mounting holes.
3. Route the camera’s cable through the mounting bracket, and then install the mounting bracket with the four provided screws. If your mounting surface requires it, use the provided wall anchors or other appropriate fasteners.
4. While holding the camera in place, set the camera shroud over the camera.
5. Adjust the camera position.
6. Connect a 75 ohm coaxial video cable to the camera’s video cable, and connect a 12 VDC/24 VAC power supply to the power cable.

Overview
These are the TruVision IR Turret Camera installation instructions for TVT-2103/4103. The instructions describe a standard installation.
The camera consists of the following:
Camera with power and video output cables
Camera shroud
Fixed ring to secure the camera and camera shroud to the
mounting bracket
One dual power terminal block with its screw and anchor
Gang box adapter plate with 4 small screws and 2 long
screws

past 80° may result in reflection of IR illumination from the camera base into the lens. This can distort or obscure the picture in night mode.
7. Check the picture and adjust the camera position and angle as required.
8. Tighten the fixed ring to secure it to the mounting bracket. Ensure that the camera shroud is firmly attached to the bracket.
9. If necessary, use a flat blade screwdriver to adjust the zoom first, and then the focus (see Figure 2).
Note: After adjusting the focus and zoom, please insert the enclosed rubber plugs into the focus and zoom openings to prevent moisture ingress.
Programming
Once the camera hardware has been installed, the camera can then be configured. See Figure 4 on page 2.
The Setup menu provides access to the camera configuration options. The on-screen display (OSD) is only available in English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Polish, Turkish, Hebrew, and Arabic.
Program the camera by attaching a standard video monitor to the system.
To access the Setup menu:
1. Press the OSD control button (Enter) to access the Setup menu and its submenus.
2. Push the button up, down, left, and right to move between menu options.
3. Press the OSD control button to select an option.
4. When in a submenu, select Return to return to the previous menu.
5. To exit the Setup menu, move the cursor to Exit at the bottom of the screen and press Enter. All changes are saved.
Note: In the Day/Night submenu, only EXT mode is available. The AUTO, COLOR, and B/W modes are disabled to avoid IR cut circulation in low light conditions.
