Overview
The S717D and S7717D digital current loop transmission system
provides superior noise-free transmission of the 20 mA standard,
suitable for use in many applications including those found in
communications and monitoring systems. A complete system
consists of transmitter and receiver operating over one or two single
mode or multimode fibers. The S717D model features multimode
operation, while the S7717D model operates over single mode fiber.
Accurate Data Transmission
Utilizing high-speed data conversion and digital transmission,
the system provides highly accurate data transmission. The units
can be configured as active or passive receivers and drivers.
Superior Diagnostics
The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides built-in diagnostic
LEDs for monitoring data and optical signal strength.
