Singlemode Fiber Transmission System
Overview
The S7717D digital current loop transmission
system provides superior noise-free transmission
of the 20 mA standard suitable for use in many
applications including those found in
communications and monitoring systems. A
complete system consists of a transmitter and a
receiver operating over one or two single-mode
fibers.
Accurate Data Transmission
Utilizing high-speed data conversion and digital
transmission, the system provides highly accurate
data transmission. The units can be configured as
active or passive receivers and drivers.
Superior Diagnostics
The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides
an built-in diagnostic LEDs for monitoring data
and optical signal strength.
