Video/Data Transmitters and Receivers
Overview
The S737DV fiber links transmit 16 channels of video combined
with two-way multiprotocol data and four contact closure
channels over one multimode fiber. The S737DV fiber link
converts analog video to digital video and supports two-way
transmission of all major data formats. Digital transmission
of the video assures clean, noise-free video at the receiver. In
addition, the links use Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer
(CWDM) technology for maximum distance capabilities.
Multiple Data Formats
Two-way data permits remote control of a PTZ and
response from the receiver/driver to the control center.
The unique multiprotocol data design accepts all major
data formats. Four relay/contact closure channels in the
forward direction permit transmission of switch closures.

Data Translation
The data functions include the unique data translation feature,
which allows one data format to be input and a different data
format to be output. Data formats are selectable during installation
and can be easily changed in the field via rotary switch.
Superior Diagnostics
The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides an extensive set of
built-in diagnostic tools including a video test pattern generator
that allows failures to be diagnosed from the monitor. LED
displays monitor the video, data, contact, and optical signals.
