Overview
The B703V and B7703V high performance fiber transmission systems support the luminance and chrominance signals used in Pro A/V S-video systems. The FM modulated signal paths maintain the timing relationships required to operate S-video based equipment over distances beyond the capability of coax cable. The B703V model features multimode operation, while the B7703V model operates over one singlemode fiber. The links can be supplied as either a standalone module or as a rack card that can be installed in a standard 19-inch card cage.
Exceptional Performance
The B7703V model operates up to 27 miles (43 km) using single mode fiber and the B703V model operates up to 11 miles (18 km). The B703V and B7703V series utilize the S-video DIN connector for easy interconnection.

The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides built­in diagnostic tools including LEDs that monitor the operating status of the video and optical signals.
