Keep the Street Shifters Vehicle away from face, eyes and hair at all times. Keep fingers away from
spinning wheels and tires. Use caution when driving. Make sure people around you know that you are
playing with the Street Shifters toy. The Street Shifters is recommended for use indoors only.

IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION

Use only batteries recommended in this instruction manual. Do not mix old and new batteries. Battery
installation should be performed by an adult. Be careful to install the batteries with the correct polarity, as
indicated. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard, lithium, rechargeable, or
different types of batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Exhausted batteries are to
be removed as they will hinder the controller’s performance. Never leave a battery unattended while it is
being charged. Never leave a battery unattended in the presence of children. The Street-Shifter Toy takes
3 AAA batteries.

CAUSE:

CORRECTIVE ACTION:

1. The Street Shifters Vehicle needs to be within 30 feet (10
meters).

works basically like light.

3. Ensure that the Street Shifters Vehicle and IR Controller
both have fresh batteries properly installed..

4. Slide the On / Off Switch at the bottom of the Street
Shifters Vehicle to the On position.

5. Ensure that the IR Channel selector on the IR Controller
matches the IR Channel of the Street Shifters Vehicle.

STREET SHIFTERS OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:

All Street Shifters Vehicles operate in the same way. The following instructions can be used for the Car
and Truck versions of the toy. Please note, the Street Shifters Toy requires 3 AAA Batteries. Please refer
to the "STREET SHIFTERS BATTERY REQUIREMENTS" section for instructions on how to install the
batteries prior to using the toy.

1. In the Vehicle Configuration, turn on the Street Shifters Toy by sliding the On - Off Switch located at the
bottom of the Vehicle to the On position. Place the Street Shifters Vehicle on a smooth driving surface.

2. Slide the channel switch on the IR Controller to channel A or B depending on which channel
corresponds to your Street Shifters Vehicle.
Note: There is no On-Off Switch on the IR Controller. Pressing any of the 4 control buttons on the IR
Controller will activate it. When the IR Controller is activated, the Red LED will light up. If left unused, the
IR Controller will automatically turn off after 3 seconds and the Red LED will also turn off.

3. Press the Upper or Lower Buttons on the left side of the IR Controller for forward or reverse control
respectively.

4. Press the Left or Right Buttons on the right side of the IR Controller for left or right steering.

5. Drive the Street Shifters Vehicle until it hits another object head-on. This will automatically transform it
into a Robot Beast! You can continue to drive the Street Shifters Robot Beast with the IR Controller. The
Robot-Beast's legs really move while it is in action.

6. In the Robot Beast configuration, the Trim Adjustment Dial will be visible. Just rotate the Dial in small
increments if you find that your Street Shifters toy is not heading in a straight direction without steering
input.

7. To transform the Street Shifters Robot Beast into a Vehicle again just manually fold it up into the
Vehicle Configuration as shown in the "TRANSFORMING YOUR STREET SHIFTERS VEHICLE" section.

8. You can now keep playing with the Street Shifters toy in the Vehicle Configuration using the IR
Controller.

9. When finished playing, turn off the Street Shifters Vehicle by sliding the On / Off Switch located at the
bottom of the Vehicle. If you will be storing the Street Shifters toy, remove the 2 AAA batteries from the IR
Controller and the 1 AAA battery from the vehicle.

the Scorpion Beast over
the Main Chassis.

STREET SHIFTERS BATTERY REQUIREMENTS:

The Street Shifters Toy requires a total of 3 AAA Batteries (sold separately). The Street Shifters Vehicle
requires 1 AAA Battery while the Street Shifters IR Controller requires 2 AAA Batteries. Install the
Batteries as shown. There is no need to charge any components of the Street Shifters Toy.

STREET SHIFTERS VEHICLE BATTERY INSTALLATION:

1. Ensure that the Street Shifters Vehicle is turned off.

2. The Street Shifters are shipped in the Vehicle Configuration and need to be transformed into a Robot
Beast to access the Battery Compartment. Just press the Front Bumper of the Vehicle to cause it to
transform into a Robot Beast.

3. In the Robot Beast Configuration, open the Battery Compartment Door located at the top of the Main
Chassis by using a small Philips screwdriver (not included).

4. Insert 1 AAA Battery according to the picture shown. Ensure that the + or – polarities match the
illustrations inside the Battery Compartment.

5. Replace the Battery Compartment Door and tighten the screw using the screwdriver. Do not over
tighten.

STREET SHIFTERS IR CONTROLLER BATTERY INSTALLATION:

1. Locate the Battery Compartment Door at the rear of the IR Controller and open by pressing on the
Release Catch with the tip of a pen or a similar pointed object. Slide the Battery Door away from the IR
Controller.

2. Insert the 2 AAA Batteries according to the picture shown. Ensure that the + or – polarities match the
illustrations inside the Battery Compartment.

3. Replace the Battery Compartment Door by sliding it back into place until the Release Catch clicks into
place.

the Main Chassis.

TRANSFORMING YOUR STREET SHIFTERS VEHICLE:

In Vehicle Configuration, it is necessary for your Street Shifters Vehicle to hit an object head on in order for
it to transform automatically into a Robot Beast. It is also possible to achieve this transformation by
pressing the Front Bumper. Do not attempt to transform a Street Shifters Vehicle into a Robot Beast
Configuration manually. To transform a Robot Beast into a Street Shifters Vehicle, follow these 4 steps for
your specific Street Shifters Vehicle.

STREET SHIFTERS SCORPION BEAST TO TRUCK:

2. Fold the pincers over
the head of the Scorpion
Beast until they take the
shape of the Truck Body.

3. Rotate the Truck
Body until it connects to
the Main Chassis and
clicks into place.

4. Fold the Scorpion Beast's
Stinger Tail into a straight
undercarriage for the Truck
and rotate it until it connects
to the Main Chassis and
clicks into place.

STREET SHIFTERS ROBOT BEAST TO CAR:

2. Fold the arms and
head of the Robot Beast
until they take the shape
of the Car Body.

3. Rotate the Car Body
until it connects to the
Main Chassis and clicks
into place.

4. Fold the Tail into a
straight undercarriage for the
Car and rotate it until it
connects to the Main
Chassis and clicks into
place.

OPERATING TIPS!:

Unpacking - Be careful when removing your Street Shifters Toy from the package. Please unfasten all
the fastening locations carefully to avoid damaging your toy when removing it from the package.
Operational Environment - The Street Shifters Toy is intended for indoor use on smooth surfaces. The
driving area should be at least 15 feet x 15 feet (4.5 meters x 4.5 meters). Do not operate your Street
Shifters Toy in any wet conditions. The Street Shifters Toy is not waterproof.
Range - The Range of your Street Shifters Vehicle to your IR Controller is within 30 feet (10 Meters). It is
necessary to be in visual contact of the IR Controller as the Infrared Communication behaves just like light.
Trimming - When trying to drive straight, the Street Shifters may be veering off to one side instead of
holding a straight heading. Adjust the Trim Control Dial so that the Street Shifters Vehicle drives straight. If
the Street Shifters Vehicle is veering to the left (counter clockwise) when it shouldn’t, turn the Trim Control
Dial to the right. If the Street Shifters Vehicle is veering to the right (clockwise) when it shouldn’t, turn the
Trim Control Dial to the left. Once trimmed, minor corrections can be managed using steering input.
Direction Control - Direction control convention is based as if you were sitting in the driver's seat of the
Street Shifters Vehicle. When the Street Shifters Vehicle is transformed into a Robot Beast, it will head
forward when the forward button is pressed on the IR Controller.
Control Reversal - When the Street Shifters Vehicle is heading towards you, the steering will appear to
reverse. This is normal and just takes some practice to control.
