The Light Stars requires 4 x AAA batteries to operate!
Alakaline batteries are recommended for best performance.
IMPORTANT: This product includes ‘try-me’ batteries.

INSTALLING / REPLACING

CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS - OPERATING THE LIGHTSTAR TOY

1. Open the battery compartment door
located at the bottom of the Light

2. Insert the batteries as shown.
Ensure that the + or – polarities match
the illustrations inside the battery
compartment.

3. Replace the battery compartment
door and tighten the screw. Do not
over tighten.

If your hologram projection is out of focus, you can adjust this by rotating the focus ring near the top of your Light Stars toy.

IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION

Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries, standard carbon zinc, or alkaline batteries of different capacities. Do not use

rechargeable batteries. Ensure that the contact surfaces are clean and bright before installing new batteries. Please match the correct polarity (- or

+) when replacing batteries. Do not throw batteries into the fire. Replace all batteries of the same type/brand at the same time. The supply

terminals are not to be short-circuited. Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Batteries should be replaced by adults. Remove batteries if the

toy is not going to be played with for a long time to prevent leakage or other damage. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

The Light Stars unit is programmed with a power saving feature. The
built-in LED will turn off automatically after 30 seconds if there are no
actions or selection button inputs. The LED will resume operation when
there is any input from an action button.
* If the Light Stars unit is not used continuously for another 30 seconds it
will automatically power off completely.
* If you cannot power on the Light Stars Unit, or the LED is dim after the

unit is turned on, the batteries may have run out of power and need to be
replaced.
* Please follow the instructions in this manual to replace the batteries.

Chapter Selection Button

To cycle through all the different chapters of animations. Pressing this
button takes you to a new chapter where different actions can take
place. Each chapter has its unique actions.

Action Buttons

To activate the playback of different actions which are a unique part of
each chapter.
