Hardware Description
LED Indication
Steady red during boot up process.
Power
Network Flash yellow while Network activity.
MicroSD Card
Steady blue after boot sequence has completed. Flashing purple during firmware upgrade.
Steady yellow means MicroSD card ready. Flash yellow while accessing MicroSD card.
Factory Reset
Reset: With the camera turned on, press the reset button briefly to
reboot the camera, or hold the reset button for 10 seconds to set all settings back to factory default values.
Hardware Installation
1. Use the two supplied screws to fix the base plate to a flat surface.
2. Loosen the screws on the bracket in order to adjust the camera’s viewing area.
3. Tighten the screws at the two joints of the bracket to fix the camera in place.
4. Above: It is recommended to install the network camera in an area where the camera is not directly exposed to sun light, rain or snow. For example, install the camera underneath an overhang, such as a roof, to increase the camera’s life span.
5. Connect the camera via PoE Using a standard RJ-45 network cable, connect the bullet camera to an IEEE802.3af/at compliant PoE switch or PoE injector.
6. Connect the camera without PoE
1. Connect the power adaptor to the dome camera
2. Using a standard RJ-45 network cable, connect the camera to a normal Ethernet Switch or Router
7. Software Installation Insert the Installation CD into a CD or DVD drive and follow the instructions given by the Quick Installation Guide.
