Cat5 network cable, this handy device — including both station and
computer units in one package — is perfect for the network administrator
whose ofce is too far from the computer room for standard KVM cables
to work properly.
The dual-console operation allows a keyboard and mouse to be attached
to a computer locally with another set attached remotely, providing you
with the ability to operate the computer from either location; that is, from
the distant ofce or from within the computer room.

Console LED Status Control Description
Remote off; Local on Console unit controls its local PC.
Remote on; Local off Console unit is remotely taking control of the
Computer unit. In this mode,
1. The Computer unit is now taking control of
the system if the 3 LEDs (Num, Caps and
Scroll Lock ) on the keyboard are ashing or
2. The system is waiting for either unit to take
control if the 3 LEDs (Num, Caps and Scroll
Lock) on the keyboard are not ashing.
Computer LED Status Control Description
Remote off; Local on Computer unit controls its local PC or KVM
switches. In this mode, the Console unit can
not take control of the Computer unit remotely.
Remote on; Local off Console unit is remotely taking control of the
Computer unit.
Flashing alternately The system is waiting for either unit to take
control (Auto mode).
Console (Station)
Unit Button Control Description
Pressing this button switches between Local and Remote modes.
Local mode The Local LED is lit, indicating that the system
controls its local computer.
Remote mode The Remote LED is lit, indicating that the
system remotely controls the computer unit.
