Thank you for purchasing the INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS™ 16-Port
Fast Ethernet Rackmount PoE Switch, Model 503631 (15.4 Watts/port) or
Model 524155 (7.3 Watts/port).

Connections

The 16 RJ45 connections on the front panel (partially shown below) match
workstations, servers or other network devices to 10/100 Mbps switching
ports that automatically negotiate full/half duplex mode, allowing you to
connect the switch to 10Base-T and 100Base-TX devices. NOTE: The 16 ports
also provide a 48 V power-injector PSE (power source equipment) function.

Power switch — The AC power outlet and switch are on the rear panel.
PCs, servers and other devices — Use Cat5 straight-through twisted-pair cables

to congure a network.
Hubs and other switches — Use either straight-through or crossover cable to
connect to the uplink port of a hub or another switch: This device supports
Auto-MDIX on all ports.
Powered devices — Use Cat5 twisted-pair cable to supply 48 V to a powered
device connected to any of the 16 ports. NOTE: Any connected devices should
also be IEEE 802.3af compliant.

LEDs

POWER — When lit, there is power to the switch.
PoE — When lit, the port is linked to a PoE device.
LINK /ACT — When lit, a valid port connection has been made. When blinking,

data is being transmitted or received.

Watt/Port).

Anschlüsse

Die 16 RJ45-Anschlüsse (siehe Abb.) sind geeignet für Workstations, Server
oder andere Netzwerkgeräte zur Anbindung an 10/100 MBit/s-Ports.
Dieser Switch unterstützt Voll- und Halbduplex-Modus sowie 10 Base-T und
100Base-TX-Geräte. HINWEIS: Die 16 Ports bieten eine 48 V PSE (Power Source
Equipment - Gerät als Stromquelle)-Funktion.

Ein/Aus-Schalter — Schalter u. Strombuchse benden sich auf der Rückseite.
PCs, Server und andere Geräte — Verwenden Sie Cat5-Twisted-Pair-Patchkabel,

um ein Netzwerk einzurichten.
Hubs und andere Switche — Verwenden Sie entweder normales Patch- oder
Crossover-Kabel, um mit dem Uplink-Port eines Hubs oder eines anderen
Switches zu verbinden: Dieses Gerät unterstützt Auto-MDIX auf allen Ports.

INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS™, modelo 503631 (15,4 Watts/puerto) o
modelo 524155 (7,3 Watts/puerto).

Conexiones

Las 16 conexiones RJ45 en el panel frontal (parte de abajo)coinciden con las
estaciones de trabajo, servidores y otros dispositivos de red a 10/100 Mbps
que cambian autonegocian a modo full ó half duplex, lo que permite conectar
al switch dispositivos 10Base-T y 100Base-TX . NOTA: Los 16 puertos también
proporcionan una alimentación de 48 V PSE (equipo de la fuente de energía).
