Gigabit Ethernet ExpressCard, Model 524056.
A high-performance PCMCIA-style network adapter that ts in the new
ExpressCard/54 and ExpressCard/34 slots of a computer, this card
supports the Single PCI Express lane (x1) specications, operating at
the baseline 2.5 Gbps data rate and providing faster throughput than the
current 32- and 64-bit PCI bus architectures. There’s no need to switch
to ber optic cable, either: You can run Gigabit speeds over your existing
copper-wire network cable.
And with the easy-to-follow instructions in this manual, you’ll soon be able
to enjoy the benets of these additional features:

System Requirements
Prior to card installation, make sure the following are available:
• Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista
• ExpressCard-enabled system with an available ExpressCard slot
• Cat5/Cat5E/Cat6 UTP/STP cable

Insert the Gigabit Ethernet ExpressCard into the ExpressCard slot of
your system, making sure it’s inserted all the way for a solid connection.
