Verbinden Sie den UTP-Port des Medienkonverters mit einem RJ45-Port des Netzwerks;
z.B. einem Ethernet-Switch. Cat5e-Verkabelung oder höher wird empfohlen. Die Modelle
506502, 506519 und 506526 können an 10 Mbit/s -oder 100 Mbit/s-Ports angeschlossen
werden. Die integrierte Auto-Negotiation-Eigenschaft stellt sicher, dass die Verbindung
mit der höchstmöglichen Geschwindigkeit bereitgestellt wird. Der Gigabit Medien­konverter (506533) kann allerdings nur an einen 1000-Mbit/s-Port angeschlossen werden.

Glasfaser

Wie auf der obigen Abb. zu sehen, müssen zwei Glasfaserkabel zwischen zwei idealerweise
gleichen Medienkonvertern verbunden werden. Stellen Sie eine Verbindung her zwischen
Medienkonverter 1 TX und Medienkonverter 2 RX sowie zwischen Medienkonverter 1
RX und Medienkonverter 2 TX. Die maximale Länge und Glasfaserspezikation hängt
von dem Modell ab (siehe Spezikationen).

stromversorgung

Schließen Sie das Netzteil an die 5V-DC-Buchse des Medienkonverters und dann an eine
Steckdose an (90 – 265 V, 50/60 Hz). Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das beiliegende Netzteil
oder eines mit gleichen Spezikationen (Ausgangsleistung 5 V DC, mindestens 1 A).
