1. INSTALLATION
1.1 CHECK and make sure that the following accessories are included
inside the package.
This Operation Manual, Indicator x 1, Platform + stainless steel
cover x 1,
Mains adapter x 1, Pillar x 1 and Screws & tool set x 1.
Contact your dealer if any items are missing.
1.2 FIXING THE PILLAR
1.2.1 Thread the cable from platform through the pillar very carefully.
1.2.2 Insert the pillar to the pillar support attached to the platform
in a upright position, then locked it by the Allen head screw
provided.
1.2.3 Connect the cable plug to the indicator receiving plug.
1.2.3.1After plugs are connected, lock the
plugs by turning the plug screw in clockwise direction.
1.2.4 FIXING THE INDICATOR
FOR FM & LM MODELS: Lock the indicator to the pillar by 2 screws provided.
1.3 Power on the Scale
1.3.1 Check the input voltage of the main adapt er/scale matches with
the voltage of electricity outlet. Contact your local dealer if
not.
1.3.2 Before first time operation, plug the main adapter/mains plug
to the wall outlet and charge the scale for at least 8 hours.
1.4 Retain the package for future transportation of scale.

3. KEYBOARD LAYOUT AND DESCRIPTION
ON/OFF KEY
Press this key to turn scale on or off.
2. MODE KEY
Press this key to switch between metric and avoirdupois weight units
with or without backlight (optional).
M+ KEY
Press this key to enter present weight value into memory.
4. MR KEY
Press this key to recall the accumulated weight value in memory.
5. TARE KEY
Press this key to tare off the weight of a container and get the net
weighing result.
6. ZERO KEY
Press this key to reset weight displayed to zero when unloaded.
7. MC KEY
Press the MR and TARE key simultaneously to clear all data in memory.
8. ZERO INDICATOR
An arrow will appear and point at this sign to indicate a zero weight
status.
9. TARE INDICATOR
An arrow will appear and point at this sign when the tare function is
being employed.
10. M+ INDICATOR
An arrow will appear and point at this sign when the memory contains
data.
11. WEIGHT UNIT INDICATOR
"kg" indicates the metric unit is being employed.
"lb" indicates the avoirdupois unit is being employed.
12. LO-BAT INDICATOR
When this indicator appears, recharge the scale immediately. Failure
to do so may cause unrecoverable damages to the rechargeable battery
inside.
13. IN-CHARGE INDICATOR
Red color: Recharging battery
Green color: Charging completed
4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
4.1 PLACING SCALE
Use this unit on a hard and strong surface, where is free from
RF interference, vibration, fire, direct sunlight and excessive
moisture. For accurate weighing, always place this unit on a level
surface, if necessary, adjust the adjustable feet underneath the
platform to obtain a level condition.
4.2 POWER THE SCALE
Press ON/OFF to turn scale on.
4.3 INTERNAL SETTINGS
Before weighing, make sure the zero sign is on and stable.
4.3.1Select Weight Unit
This unit is equipped with 3 weight unit modes, i.e. kg, lb and
lb/oz.
Default weight unit = kg (without pound units)
Follow the below step to employ (disable) the pound weight unit.
a. turn scale off
b. press and hold TARE, then press ON/OFF. Scale displays “F.1”
c. press TARE twice. Scale displays ” F.3”
d. press and hold MODE
e. press MODE unit the “ lb” signs appear(or select “ kg” to disable
the pound unit)
f. press ZERO to confirm and return to normal operation status.
(If the pound weight is selected) Press MODE to shift among, lb
and lb/oz during ope ration.
4.4 TO TARE OFF THE WEIGHT OF A CONTAINER
4.4.1 Place a container onto the platform, then press TARE to tare off the weight of this container. After
TARE is pressed, the tare sign appears.
4.4.2 To Clear Container Weight from Memory
To clear the weight of the container, remove the container and
all loads from the platform and press TARE, then tare sign would
disappear.
4.5 Zero the Weight Displayed When Unloaded
If zero sign does not appear when unloaded, press ZERO to reset
weight to zero.
4.6 PLACING A LOAD
Always place a load onto the platform gently. Sudden
shock/excessive force may cause damage to the weight sensor inside.
It is a good practice to remove all loads from platform immediately
after weighed. This would prolong the life tim e of the weight
sensor.
4.7 SELECT BACKLIGHT (option) STATUS
To enable/disable backlight function, press MODE until the desired
status is attained. Backlight would automatically go off 3 second
after zero weight is detected and automatically turned on
immediately after a load is detected.
4.8 WEIGHT MEMORY FUNCTION
4.8.1 Save a Weight to Memory and Auto Weight Accumulation
When weight display is stable, press M+ to save. Scale Displays
“P.1” and the M+ arrow appears indicating total number of total
entries and the memory function is being employed.
4.8.2Recall Weight Accumulated
Press MR, scale displays total number of entries and total
accumulated weight of these translations. Scale return to normal
operation status 2 seconds after accumulated weig ht displayed.
4.8.3 Memory Clear
Press and hold MR, then press TARE after accumulated weight display.
Scale displays “P.0” and all data is cleared.
4.8.4 CAUTIONS
ALL data stored will be erased if:
the scale is turned off
weight unit is changed
4.9 SELECT AUTO POWER OFF STATUS
This unit is equipped with AUTO POWER OFF function.
Default setting = auto off after 4 minutes unused.
Follow the below steps to disable/employ the AUTO POWER OFF
function.
a. turn scale off
b. press and hold TARE, then press ON/OFF. Scale displays “F.1”
c. press TARE for three times. Scale displays “ F.4”
d. press MODE to select:
to disable the auto power off function select “0-oFF”
to employ the auto power off unction select “4-oFF”
e. press ZERO to confirm and return to nor mal operation status.
5.TROUBLE SHOOTING
SYNDROME SCALE CANNOT BE TURNED ON
CHECK Is the rechargeable battery charged?
ACTION Recharge the battery for at least 8 hours or plug in the mains
adapter/input.
CHECKIs the main adapter/AC input inserted p roperly both to the
wall outlet?
CHECKIs the output plug of the main adapter inserted properly into
the DC inlet of the scale?
ACTIONSecure both ends of the main adapter to the wall outlet and
DC inlet of scale.
SYNDROME SCALE TURNED ON BUT ZERO WEIGHT CAN
NOT BE ATTAINED
CHECK Is anything load applied to platform?
ACTION Remove all loads from platform.
CHECK Is the scale affect by air flow, vibration or RF?
ACTION Place scale away from all disturbances.
SYNDROME RATED CAPACITY CANNOT BE ATTAINED
CHECK Is the TARE sign go on?
ACTION Turn scale off, remove all loads from platform and
turn of again.
CHECK Anything obstructing the platform?
ACTION Remove all obstacles.
SYNDROME SCALE DOES NOT WEIGH CORRECTLY
CHECK Is the right weight unit employed?
ACTION Select the right weight unit.
CHECK Is the scale placed horizontally?
ACTION Adjust the adjustable feet to obtain level condition.
CHECK Is the scale affect by air flow, vibration or RF?
ACTION Place scale away from all disturbances.
CHECK Is the scale calibrated correctly?
ACTION Contact your local dealer.
CHECK Is part of the load striking against the pillar?
ACTION Place load properly.
SYNDROME SCALE TURNED OFF AUTOMATICALLY
CHECK Is the Auto Off Function employed?
ACTION Reset the Auto Off Function.
CHECK Is the LO-BAT sign is on?
ACTION Recharge the battery or plug in the mains adapter/input.
SYNDROME SCALE DISPLAYS “

CHECK Is the weight of load excesses the max. capacity?
ACTION Removed loads on platter and check again.
6. DAILY CARE AND MAINTENANCE
6.1 Clean the platform and indicator with a soft and damp cloth, if
necessary with a mild detergent.
6.2Do not use any harsh, abrasive material, acetone, volatile solvent,
thinner or alcohol for cleani ng.
6.3Verify the accuracy of the scale periodically. Re-calibrate the
scale when needed.
NOTE: in some countries calibration is restricted to be done by
qualified/authorized agent only. Contact your local dealer for more
information.
6.4 Clean the scale before long t erm
storage.
6.5 Store the scale in a dry and cool place.
