Intelix S-V1AT
Installation Manual
Introduction
Ideal for transmitting composite video extended distances over twisted pair cable, the Intelix S-V1AT transmits signals to remote Intelix baluns up to 4,000 feet away. The unit features screw terminal connectors for the twisted pair output and a BNC connector for the analog video input. The video channel signal quality is adjustable with gain and skew switches.
The S-V1AT is compatible with all baseband signals, including PAL, NTSC, and SECAM, and features built-in transient protection and exceptional interference rejection. The unit includes a 12V power supply.
When signal quality matters, choose Intelix.

Caution: Do not attempt to disassemble or alter the balun housing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the unit. Doing so will void your warranty.
1. Power off the source and destination devices which will be connected to the baluns.
2. Verify the modular outlets and cross connects to which you will connect the SV1AT are configured properly and labeled appropriately to identify the circuit.
Caution: To minimize the possibility of equipment damage from electrostatic dischar installation. This includes signal extenders, splitters, and switches.
3. Verify the desired twisted pairs are not being used for other LAN or telephone equipment.
e (ESD), all source and destination equipment must be powered off during
Caution: Do not connect the balun to a telecommunication outlet wired to unrelated equipment. Doin Ensure all connected twisted pair cabling is straight-through (point-to-point).
4. Connect the S-V1AT to the video port of the source equipment.
5. Connect one end of the twisted pair cable to the S-V1AT.
6. Connect a compatible receive balun to the video port on the destination equipment.
7. Connect the other end of the twisted pair cable to the second balun. The twisted pair pinout on both the send and receive baluns should match.
8. Connect the 12V power supply to the S-V1AT. Verify the power LED is illuminated.
9. Power on the source and destination equipment.
10. Verify picture quality. If necessary, adjust the Distance Adjust dipswitches on the bottom of the unit.
so may damage the unit or any connected equipment.
Note: For your convenience, it is recommended that you uniquely mark the ends of the twisted pair cable before pulling them through a wall or conduit.
