» Use the mains plug to disconnect the apparatus from the mains.
» THE MAINS PLUG OF THE POWER CORD MUST REMAIN READILY ACCESSIBLE.
» Do not defeat the safety purpose polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider
than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of your obsolete outlet. Cauon! » Do not block the air venlaon openings. Only mount the equipment per Intelix’s instrucons.
» Use only with the cart, stand, table, or rack specied by Intelix or sold with the equipment. When/if a
cart is used, use cauon when moving the cart/equipment combinaon to avoid injury from p-over.
» Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of me.
» Cauon! Shock Hazard. Do not open the unit.
» Refer to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as

DL-DMP-A Deployment Guide

Product Overview

The Digitalinx DL-DMP-A is an Android based media / APP player designed to work with many media
applicaons available from the Google Play store. Designed to operate 24/7, this sturdy yet small form factor player (1”x4”x4”) is perfect for digital signage purposes, IPTV or can be simply used as a networking appliance. Features built in memory for cloud based digital signage usage so when network connecvity is lost the player connues to play the last several slides in a loop unl network connecvity is restored. This ensures there is never any ‘dead air’ on a TV display when the Internet / LAN connecon to the device is lost. The DL-DMP-A can connect to LAN either via wired or by wireless connecvity. The device includes a 3’ HDMI cable to connect to a TV display.
The Novisign Player APP is already pre-installed for quick and easy set up for Novisgn Digital Signage license holders. To purchase a 12, 24 or 36 month Novisign license, go to our website at www.libav.com and navigate to the Digital Signage secon and look for Licenses or contact your local Liberty sales rep.

Installaon Instrucons

Connect to LAN

Connect a Cat5e cable to the LAN port of the DL-DMP-A to a local area network that supplies an Internet connecon. The DL-DMP-A defaults to DHCP mode so the device must be connected to a router / DHCP server.
If connecng the DL-DMP-A player to a LAN wirelessly, aach the supplied antenna to the side of the DL-DMP-A before the device is powered on. When the player is powered on, you can connect to an SSID using the Android operang system SETTINGS opon.

Connect HID Devices

To navigate the Android operang system you can connect the DL-DMP-A to a touchscreen display using a USB connecon to the touchscreen display or you can connect a USB mouse and keyboard to either USB port on the media player.

Connect Display

Connect a display device to the HDMI output of the DL-DMP-A using a High Speed HDMI cable that is less than or equal to 5 meters for 1080p signals. For a display device that is further away, it is highly recommended to install an HDMI extender such as the Digitalinx DL-HD70, DL-HDE100, DL-HDE100-H2 or the DL-HD2100.
The DL-DMP-A can be used an HDMI source for any switcher or HDMI distribuon system. The DL-DMP-A is not output an HDCP encrypted source.

Apply Power

Connect the included power supply to the DL-DMP-A, then connect the power supply to local power source.

Novisign Digital Signage Player Integraon
The Novisign Digital Signage Player APP has been preinstalled for convenience on the DL-DMP-A for Novisign Digital Signage users. Below is the instrucons for integrang the Player APP.
NOTE: A Novisign 12, 24 or 36 month license must be purchased before using this Novisign Player APP. To
purchase a 12, 24 or 36 month Novisign license, go to our website at www.libav.com and navigate to the Digital Signage secon and look for Licenses or contact your local Liberty sales rep.
When the DL-DMP-A powers ON, the Android operang system home screen will appear, click on the APPs icon.

Once the APPs screen has been opened, nd and click on the Novisign Player APP

Enter the desired screen key that you have generated in your Novisign Online Editor, then press GO
NOTE: To nd the screen key for the Android Novisgin Player APP, logon to the Novision Online Editor at app.novisign.com with the Chrome browser on the Android media player, then navigate to the SCREENS secon in the editor. Then copy the screen key, the paste into the Novisign Player APP.

To have the player APP and the linked playlist automacally start when the DL-DMP-A is booted ON, check on the opon labeled Start player automacally on device startup.
