DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Indications: The LED Loupes Light Source is intended for use ONLY in conjunction with magnification loupes and
should not be used without them. The light source is used to
illuminate the magnified field only.

Rx Only: Caution: Federal (US) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.

1. Charge baery

Plug the power adapter into a power outlet and connect to charger unit.

a. A single red light will indicate power to the unit. If the red light does not appear, remove the baery
from the charger, unplug the power adapter from the charger unit and wait 5 minutes before
reconnecting. If the red light still does not appear, call Miltex Customer Support.

b. Slide the baery into the Charger Unit. Be sure the baery terminals are securely connected to
the Charger terminals.

c. The following lights on the Charger Unit indicate the baery charge status:

If a baery is le in the charger for a significant period of time aer it is fully charged, it will automati­cally stop charging and display a flashing red light.

2. Aach the lamp head to loupes using the supplied mount.

a. For Miltex®, PeriOptix®, Surgitel®, Orascoptic®, Zeiss® GF and other flip style loupes:
Slide clip onto front of interpupillary cross bar of loupes, with one circular cut out on top and
one cut out on the boom of the cross bar. The clip should securely snap into place.

b. For through-the-lens (TTL) solid bridge mount: Loosen the thumb nut on bridge clamp,
opening the two halves wide enough to engage the top and boom of frame nose bridge. Aach
the clamp to the bridge and tighten nut. Note: the tightening nut should be oriented up (towards
the ceiling) when the clamp is aached to the nose bridge.

3. Remove the baery from the charger unit and slide into the baery case.
The baery should snap into place.

4. Clip the baery case to your waist band or pocket.

a. Aach the lamp cord to the loupes frames with the small elastic strap.
b. Use the shirt clip on the lamp cord to position the cord on your shirt or lab coat as desired.

5. Turn on lamp using on/off switch.

a. The intensity control knob will adjust lamp intensity.

6. Adjust the direction of the LED beam.

a. To adjust the tension of the lamp head position, use the supplied Philips screwdriver to tighten or
loosen the two (2) small link screws as needed.

Warranty: Miltex warrants its products to be free of original defects in material and workmanship
and to perform in accordance with specifications for the following terms:

30 Day Trial Period:

LED lamp head, cables, chargers and baery pack. If any issues should arise
during the first 30 days, Miltex will replace the above components free of charge.

Limitations of Warranty:

• Breakage or failure due to tampering, misuse, neglect, accidents, modification or shipping.

• If the product is not used in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations or instructions.

• If repaired or serviced by other than Miltex or a Miltex authorized representative.

• Prompt inspection and reporting of missing or damaged product should be made to shipping
carrier and Miltex with 3 days of receipt of product.

• If Miltex products or any component thereof are found to be defective or at variance with the
manufacturer’s specifications during the warranty period, Miltex will repair or replace the product
or component(s) at no cost to the purchaser. This warranty only applies to products purchased new
from Miltex or its authorized distributors or representatives.

• The purchaser must return the product directly to Miltex or an authorized distributor or
representative and bear the costs of shipping.

• This is the only warranty made by Miltex. Miltex makes no other warranty, express or implied,
including any warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

1. Cargar la batería

Enchufe el adaptador de corriente en una toma de alimentación eléctrica y conecte el cargador.

a. Una única luz roja indicará que la unidad recibe alimentación. Si la luz roja no aparece, retire la batería del

2. Fije la cabeza de la lámpara a las lupas usando la montura provista.

a. Para lupas Miltex®, PeriOptix®, Surgitel®, Orascoptic®, Zeiss® GF y otras lupas de estilo abatible: Ponga la pinza en

la parte frontal de la barra de la cruz interpupilar de las lupas, con una parte recortada circular en la parte superior
y la otra parte recortada en la parte inferior de la barra de cruz. La pinza debe quedar encajada con seguridad en
su sitio.

b. Para la montura del puente sólido a través de la lente (TTL): Afloje la tuerca mariposa de la pinza del puente,

abriendo las dos mitades lo suficiente como para que se acoplen en la parte superior e inferior del puente de la
nariz de la montura. Fije la pinza al puente y apriete la tuerca. Nota. La tuerca mariposa debe orientarse hacia
arriba (hacia el techo) cuando la pinza se fija al puente de la nariz.

3. Quite la batería del cargador y colóquela en el compartimento de la batería. La batería debe quedar encajada en
su sitio.

4. Fije con una pinza el compartimento de la de batería a su cinturón o a un bolsillo.

a. Fije el cable de la lámpara a las monturas de las lupas con la pequeña tira elástica.
b. Use la pinza de camisa del cable de la lámpara para colocar el cable en su camisa o la bata de laboratorio, según lo

desee.

5. Encienda la lámpara usando el interruptor on/off (encendido/apagado).

a. La manilla de control de intensidad ajustará la intensidad de la lámpara.

6. Ajuste la dirección del haz LED.

a. Para ajustar la tensión de la posición de la cabeza de la lámpara use el destornillador de estrella provisto para

tensar o aflojar los dos (2) pequeños tornillos según sea necesario.

1. Charger la baerie

Brancher l'adaptateur secteur à la prise murale et le connecter à l'unité de recharge.

a.

Une seule lumière rouge indique que l'unité est alimentée. Si la lumière rouge n'apparaît pas, retirer la baerie du
chargeur, débrancher l'adaptateur secteur de l'unité de recharge et aendre 5 minutes avant de rebrancher. Si la
lumière rouge n'apparaît toujours pas, appelez le service client de Miltex.

b. Faire glisser la baerie dans l'unité de recharge. S'assurer que les terminaux de la baerie sont bien connectés à

ceux du chargeur.

c. Les lumières suivantes sur l'unité de recharge indiquent l'état de charge de la baerie :

Une lumière rouge.

Deux lumières rouges.

Une lumière rouge, une
lumière verte.

Si une baerie est laissée dans le chargeur pendant une période prolongée après avoir été complète­ment chargée, elle la charge s'arrête automatiquement et un voyant rouge clignote.

Alimentée. L'unité de recharge est sous tension. Pas de baerie
connectée.

Mode de charge complète. L'autonomie de la baerie est basse et
la baerie est en charge.

Mode de charge lente. La baerie est chargée à 90%. Laisser
la baerie sur le chargeur pendant une ou deux heures

supplémentaires pour aeindre 100% de charge.

Charge arrêtée. Retirer la baerie du chargeur.

2. Aacher la tête de la lampe aux loupes en utilisant le montant fourni.

a. Pour les loupes Miltex®, PeriOptix®, Surgitel®, Orascoptic®, Zeiss® GF et d'autres loupes relevables : faire glisser le

clip sur l'avant de la traverse interpupillaire des loupes, avec une coupe circulaire sur le haut et une sur le bas de la
traverse. Le clip doit s'enclencher.

b. Pour un montant de pont solide à travers la lentille (TTL) : desserrer l'écrou à serrage à main sur le clamp du pont,

en ouvrant suffisamment les deux moitiés pour engager le haut et le bas du pont nasal cadre. Aacher le clamp
au pont et serrer l'écrou. Remarque : l'écrou de serrage doit être orienté vers le haut (plafond) lorsque le clamp est
aaché au pont nasal.

3. Retirer la baerie du chargeur et la glisser dans le boîtier prévu à cet effet. La baerie doit s'enclencher.

4. Aacher le boîtier à votre ceinture ou à votre poche.

a. Aacher le cordon de la lampe aux cadres de loupes avec le petit élastique.
b.

Utiliser le clip de chemise sur le cordon de la lampe pour le placer sur votre chemise ou votre blouse.

5. Allumer la lampe en utilisant l'interrupteur de marche/arrêt.

a. La molee d'intensité permet d'ajuster l'intensité de la lampe.

6. Ajuster la direction du faisceau LED.

a. Pour ajuster la tension de la position de la lampe, utiliser le tournevis cruciforme fourni pour serrer et desserrer

les deux (2) petites vis de liaison.

1. Laden der Baerie

Stecken Sie den Adapter in eine Steckdose ein und verbinden Sie ihn mit der Ladeeinheit.

Wenn die Baerie, nachdem sie komple aufgeladen ist, für längere Zeit im Ladegerät bleibt, wird der
Ladevorgang automatisch beendet und ein rotes Licht blinkt.

Eingeschaltet. Die Ladeeinheit wird mit Strom versorgt. Keine
Baerie angeschlossen.

Voller Lademodus. Die Baerie ist leer und wird geladen.

Modus Sickerladung. Die Baerie ist zu 90% geladen. Lassen Sie

die Baerie für weitere ein bis zwei Stunden im Ladegerät, bis sie zu
100% geladen ist.

Ladevorgang beendet. Baerie aus dem Ladegerät nehmen.

2. Bringen Sie die Lampe mit der mitgelieferten Halterung an der Binokularlupe an.

a.

Für Miltex®, PeriOptix®, Surgitel®, Orascoptic®, Zeiss® GF und andere Flip-Style -Binokularlupen: Schieben Sie den
Clip so auf die Vorderseite des Querbalkens der Binokularlupe, dass sich die eine kreisförmige Aussparung oben
und die andere kreisförmige Aussparung unten am Querbalken befindet. Der Clip muss fest einrasten.

b. Bei Montage Through-the-Lens (TTL) an festem Steg: Lösen Sie die Rändelmuer an der Stegklammer

und öffnen Sie deren beide Hälen so weit, dass Sie damit die Ober- und die Unterseite des Nasensteges
umgreifen können. Bringen Sie die Klammer am Nasensteg an und ziehen Sie die Muer fest. Hinweis: Die
Befestigungsmuer muss nach oben zeigen (zur Decke), wenn die Klammer am Nasensteg angebracht wird.

3. Nehmen Sie die Baerie aus der Ladeeinheit und legen Sie sie in den Baeriebehälter ein. Die Baerie muss
einrasten.

4. Befestigen Sie den Baeriebehälter am Gürtel oder an einer Tasche.

a. Befestigen Sie das Lampenkabel mit dem kurzen elastischen Band am Gestell der Binokularlupe.
b. Bringen Sie das Lampenkabel mit dem daran befindlichen Clip an einer geeigneten Stelle an Ihrer Kleidung oder

Ihrem Labormantel an.

5. Schalten Sie die Lampe mit dem Ein-/Aus-Schalter ein.

a. Regulieren Sie mit dem Kontrollknopf für die Lichtintensität die Helligkeit der Lampe.

6. Justieren Sie die Richtung des LED-Strahls.

a. Um die Spannung der Lampenkopfposition zu regulieren, ziehen Sie die beiden (2) kleinen Gelenkschrauben nach

Bedarf fest oder lösen Sie sie.

1. Caricamento della baeria

Collegare l'adaatore di corrente ad una presa di alimentazione, quindi collegarlo al caricabaerie.

a.

Una sola spia rossa indica che l'unità è alimentata. Se la spia rossa non compare, rimuovere la baeria dal
caricabaerie, scollegare l'adaatore di corrente dal caricabaerie e aendere 5 minuti prima di ricollegare. Se la spia
rossa ancora non compare, contaare il Servizio Assistenza Clienti Miltex.

b. Inserire la baeria nel caricabaerie. Accertare che terminali della baeria siano saldamente collegati ai terminali

del caricabaerie.

c. Le seguenti spie sul caricabaerie indicano lo stato di caricamento della baeria:

Una spia rossa.

Due spie rosse.

Una spia rossa, una spia verde.

Se una baeria viene lasciata nel caricabaerie per un periodo di tempo prolungato dopo essere stata
completamente ricaricata, la ricarica cesserà automaticamente e verrà visualizzata una spia rossa lampeg­giante.

Alimentazione aiva. Il caricabaerie è alimentato. Non è connessa
alcuna baeria.

Modalità di ricarica. La baeria è scarica e si sta ricaricando.

Modalità di completamento. La baeria è carica al 90%. Lasciare

la baeria nel caricabaerie per ancora un'ora o due fino a
raggiungere il 100% della carica.

Fine caricamento. Rimuovere dal caricabaerie.

2. Fissare la testa della lampada alle lenti di ingrandimento usando l'aacco fornito.

a. Per Miltex®, PeriOptix®, Surgitel®, Orascoptic®, Zeiss® GF e altre lenti d'ingrandimento ribaltabili: fare scorrere

la clip sulla parte anteriore della barra trasversale interpupillare delle lenti, con un'apertura circolare sulla parte
superiore e un'apertura circolare sulla parte inferiore della barra. La clip dovrebbe incastrarsi saldamente in
posizione.

b. Per una montatura solida del ponte araverso le lenti (TTL): allentare il dado zigrinato sul morseo del ponte,

aprendo le due metà quanto necessario per inserire la parte superiore e quella inferiore del ponte nasale della
montatura. Fissare il morseo sul ponte e serrare il dado. Nota: il dado di serraggio dovrebbe essere orientato
verso l'alto (verso il soffio) quando il morseo è fissato al ponte nasale.

Rimuovere la baeria dal caricabaerie ed inserirla nel portabaerie. La baeria dovrebbe incastrarsi in po­sizione.

4. Fissare il portabaerie alla cintura o ad una tasca.

a.

Fissare il cavo della lampada alla montatura delle lenti d'ingrandimento con la piccola banda elastica.

b. Usare la clip per applicazione alla camicia sul cavo della lampada per posizionare il cavo sulla camicia o sul camice,

secondo le proprie preferenze.

5. Accendere la lampada usando l’interruore di accensione/spegnimento.

a. Regolare l'intensità mediante la manopola per il controllo dell'intensità.

6. Regolare l'orientamento del raggio LED.

a. Per regolare la tensione della posizione della testa della lampada, usare il cacciavite Philips in dotazione oppure

allentare le due (2) piccole viti di unione, secondo necessità.

Garanzia: Miltex garantisce che i suoi prodoi sono esenti da difei d'origine nei materiali e nella fabbricazione e che
funzionano conformemente alle specifiche per i seguenti termini:

Periodo di prova di 30 giorni:

Testa lampada LED, cavi, caricabaerie e pacco baere. Qualora dovessero insorgere dei problemi durante i primi 30
giorni, Miltex sostituirà gratuitamente i componenti sopraccitati.

Limitazioni della garanzia:

• Roura o guasto a causa di manomissione, uso improprio, negligenza, incidenti, modifiche o trasporto.

• Se il prodoo non viene usato conformemente alle raccomandazione o alle istruzioni del produore.

• Se il prodoo viene sooposto a manutenzione o riparazione da parte di una dia diversa da Miltex o da un

rappresentante autorizzato da Miltex.

• Ispezionare subito il prodoo e segnalare sollecitamente parti mancanti o danneggiate al trasportatore e a Miltex

entro 3 giorni dal ricevimento del prodoo.

• Se i prodoi Miltex o i relativi componenti risultano difeosi o diversi dalle specifiche del produore durante

il periodo di garanzia, Miltex riparerà o sostituirà il prodoo o il/i componente/i senza alcun addebito a carico
dell'acquirente. La presente garanzia si applica solo ai prodoi acquistati nuovi presso Miltex o i suoi rivenditori o
rappresentanti autorizzati.

• L'acquirente deve restituire il prodoo direamente a Miltex o a un suo rivenditore o rappresentante autorizzato e

farsi carico delle spese di spedizione.

• La presente costituisce l’unica garanzia offerta da Miltex. Miltex non rilascia alcun altra garanzia, espressa od

implicita, comprese eventuali garanzie di commerciabilità o idoneità a scopi particolari.

Indicaties: De lichtbron voor LED-loepen is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik samen met vergrotende loepen en mag niet
zonder deze loepen worden gebruikt. De lichtbron wordt alleen gebruikt om het vergrotingsveld te verlichten.

Rx only: Let op: De federale wet in de VS beperkt de verkoop van dit instrument tot door of op voorschri van een arts.

Inhoud:

1. LED-lampkop en snoer met loepmontage

2. Stroompakket met één oplaadbare lithium-ionbaerij

3. Baerij-oplader en wisselstroomadapter

1. Baerij opladen

Steek de stroomadapter in een stopcontact en sluit de oplader aan.

a. Een enkel rood lampje gee aan dat er stroom naar de oplader loopt. Als het rode lampje niet gaat branden,

haal dan de baerij uit de oplader, haal het snoer uit de oplader en wacht 5 minuten voordat het snoer opnieuw
aangesloten wordt. Als het rode lampje nog steeds niet verschijnt, bel dan met de klantenservice van Miltex.

b. Plaats de baerij in de oplader. Zorg ervoor dat de aansluitpunten van de baerij goed aangesloten zijn op die van

de oplader.

c. De volgende lampjes op de oplader geven de oplaadstatus van de baerij aan:

Eén rood lampje.

Twee rode lampjes.

Een rood lampje en een
groen lampje.

Als een baerij gedurende langere tijd na het opladen in de oplader blij zien, stopt deze automatisch
met opladen en gaat een rood lampje knipperen.

Twee rode lampjes (waarvan
er één knippert).

Stroom ingeschakeld. De oplader ontvangt stroom. Er is geen
baerij aangesloten.

Modus opladen. De baerij is leeg en wordt opgeladen.

Modus 'druppel '-opladen. De baerij is 90% opgeladen. Laat de

baerij nog een tot twee uur in de oplader zien om deze tot 100%
op te laden.

Opladen gestopt. Baerij uit oplader verwijderen.

2. Bevestig lampkop met de meegeleverde onderdelen aan de loep.

a.

Voor typen Miltex®, PeriOptix®, Surgitel®, Orascoptic®, Zeiss® GF en andere loepen in 'kantelstijl: Schuif de klem op de
voorkant van de interpupillaire kruisbalk van de loep, met een ronde uitsnijding bovenin en één onderin de kruisbalk.
De klem dient stevig op zijn plek vast te klikken.

b. Voor door-de-lens (TTL- through-the-lens) vaste brugmontage: Draai de vingermoer op de brugklem los,

waarbij de twee helen voldoende geopend worden om boven- en onderkant van het frame van de neusbrug in
te schakelen. Bevestig de klem op de brug en draai de moer aan. Opmerking: de spanmoer dient naar boven (naar
het plafond) gericht te zijn wanneer de klem aan de neusbrug wordt bevestigd.

3. Verwijder de baerij uit de oplader en plaats deze in de baerijbehuizing. De baerij dient op zijn plek vast te
klikken.

4. Klem de baerijbehuizing vast aan uw riem of doe deze in uw zak.

a. Bevestig het snoer van de lamp met het kleine elastische bandje aan de loepframes.
b. Gebruik de kledingklem op het lampsnoer om het snoer aan uw kleding of laboratoriumjas te bevestigen.

5. Schakel de lamp in met de aan-/uitschakelaar.

a. De knop voor intensiteitscontrole zal de intensiteit van de lamp instellen.

6. Stel de richting van de LED-straal in.

a.

Om de spanning van de positie van de lampkop in te stellen wordt de meegeleverde kruiskopschroevendraaier
gebruikt om de twee (2) kleine verbindingsschroeven naar behoee vast of los te draaien.

Garantie: Miltex garandeert dat haar producten vrij zijn van originele fouten in materiaal en vakmanschap en dat deze
zullen werken in overeenstemming met de specificaties van de volgende voorwaarden:

Proefperiode 30 dagen:

LED-lampkop, bekabeling, opladers en baerijen. Als zich tijdens deze eerste 30 dagen enige storing voordoet, zal
Miltex bovenstaande onderdelen kosteloos vervangen.

Beperkingen van garantie:

• Breuk of storing t.g.v. knoeien, misbruik, verwaarlozing, ongevallen, aanpassing of verzending.

• Gebruik van het product anders dan in overeenstemming met de aanbevelingen of aanwijzingen van de fabrikant.

•

Reparatie of onderhoud door anderen dan Miltex of een door Miltex goedgekeurd vertegenwoordiger.

• Inspectie van het product en meldingen van ontbrekende of beschadigde producten dienen binnen 3 dagen na

ontvangst van het product te worden verricht aan de transporteur en Miltex.

• Als tijdens de garantieperiode blijkt dat producten van Miltex of onderdelen daarvan niet of buiten de

specificaties van de fabrikant presteren, zal Miltex deze zonder kosten voor koper repareren of vervangen.
Deze garantie is alleen van toepassing op producten die nieuw van Miltex of geautoriseerde distributeurs of
vertegenwoordigers zijn gekocht.

• De koper dient het product direct te retourneren naar Miltex of een geautoriseerd distributeur of

vertegenwoordiger en is verantwoordelijk voor de transportkosten.

• Dit is de enige garantie die Miltex biedt. Miltex gee geen andere garanties, expliciet of impliciet, inclusief

garanties van verkoopbaarheid of geschiktheid voor een bepaald doel.
