Capabilities—A World First
Dolby Master Studio is the ultimate audio presentation solution
for multiple home entertainment platforms. At its core, Dolby
Pro Logic IIx provides a full 6.1 or 7.1 surround sound from
stereo sources or 5.1 sources, leaving no video or music format
uncovered. Also, Dolby Digital Live converts any audio signal to
a Dolby Digital stream for playback through a home theater
system—perfect for the gaming enthusiast. Dolby Virtual Speaker
creates a realistic 5.1 surround sound experience from only two
speakers, while Dolby Headphone delivers spacious surround
sound and reduces “listener fatigue.” And in a key development

Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry (VLSC)to Promote
Noiseless Delivery
The delivery of untainted audio signals is crucial to quality
home entertainment. The onboard VLSC removes pulse noise
from digital audio signals. Conventional digital-to-analog
conversion methods can reduce pulse noise at the conversion
stage, but can’t remove it completely. VLSC overcomes this
problem by deriving two sampling points from the signal data,
then joins those points
with analog vectors to
produce a smooth output
wave form. By connecting
the NVS-7.7’s 2-channel
audio output to your A/V
receiver, you’re able to send
an audio signal that’s free of
potentially damaging noise.
Distributing Internet Radio and Digital Music
Files Throughout Your Home
Net-Tune Central 2 MCE Edition enables access to your digital
music files stored in the My Music library of Media Center to
be played back on any Net-Tune clients throughout your home.
Also, if the NVS-7.7 is connected to the internet via a router
you can also access and distribute internet radio as well.
The Net-Tune Central software can serve up to three clients
for simultaneous music entertainment in different rooms
around the house.
Downloading Movies, Music and Games Straight
to Your Living Room
Intel is working with some of the world’s biggest entertainment
providers to bring access to movies, TV, music, and gaming
contents. The NVS-7. 7 brings access to the latest on-demand
movies and TV programs with all-exclusive features via online
content providers. If it’s music you’re after, you can download
thousands of songs. You also have the capability to search
for, sample and download music videos for playback through
your home entertainment system.

signals to your AV receiver, you can use the coaxial and
digital outputs for a digital audio
connection. Also, with the

Slot Transferability
The NVS-7.7’s 400-GB SATA hard drive will give you more than
enough storage for all recorded TV contents as well as music
library and video files. Also, with 1 gigabyte of RAM and dual
core processing at your disposal, the NVS-7.7 will run without
the sluggishness found with lesser capacity. Also, on the front
panel you’ll find a drop-down flap that houses an 8-in-1 card
reader to transfer digital photos. Right beside the slots, an iLink
port and USB 2.0 ports connect to peripherals like external
hard drives, digital video

Microsoft®Windows®XP Media Center 2005
Interface for Control
Windows XP Media Center is your intuitive access point for
movies, music, digital photos, communications and radio
access. From the one-touch start button on the remote control
or keyboard, the Media Center launches the menu giving you
access to your contents, including recorded TV contents and
home movies. Also, when you insert a disc it will automatically
recognize the media and begin playback. The Media Center
Setup Wizard effortlessly configures your TV signal sources, and
once it’s quickly completed, you can easily pause and replay live
TV. Furthermore, you’ll also be able to schedule future recordings.
