Immediately change the factory-set master CODE 1 2 3 4 5 6 for security reasons.
Do not use any personal data for your new CODE such as birthdays or other information that
could be guessed from knowledge about you.
After entering your new CODE, open and close the electronic lock several times with your PIN and new CODE while the door is open.
You can always cancel an entry that you have started with the
C
key.

If a power interruption has occurred, e.g. battery change, the code has to be entered twice.
If a signal sequence sounds after you have entered your user number, the lock is blocked for access:
A time program is active Lock blocked by master Lock blocked by a connected burglar alarm system, for example
When the lock is open, the green LED flashes every second (only when the function “Automatic locking after 10 sec.” is activated). In this state, all functions of the lock can be programmed. (See Programming the lock)

2. Locking the lock
Three options are provided for locking the lock:
Locking by pressing a key (default setting) Locking via door switch/boltwork switch Automatic locking after 10 seconds
The lock is locked by pressing a key (except for C and * key) as the default setting. In order to activate one of the two other options, the lock has to be programmed correspondingly. The programming can either be done via the keypad (see Chapter
3. Programming the lock) or via the PC software CombiComm (not included in the scope of supply).
Attention: Before leaving the safe deposit, it is imperative to make sure that the lock is correctly locked.

3. Programming the lock
In order for the lock to be programmed, it has to be opened. For this purpose, the lock can be opened with any user code.
In the delivery state, the lock can only be opened with the factory master code (0 = user no. + 1 2 3 4 5 6 = master code,
0 123456
).
The most important functions of the lock can be programmed with the keypad; extended functions are programmed with the PC software CombiComm and the event log is read out with the PC software.

3.12. Activating external input and output signals
3.12.1. General functionality
The following functions can be implemented using external signals, inputs and outputs:
Silent alarm Automatic locking with the door switch Status display of the deadbolt of the lock External blocking / release of the lock Display of the end of the opening delay
The electronic lock EloStar time has 2 inputs and 2 outputs for implementing the above-mentioned functions. A particular function can be assigned to each input signal and output signal according to the following description of the function numbers.
The extension unit EloXT and the adapter p.c.b. EloAdapt are available for professionally connecting the signals of the lock.

3.12.2. Silent alarm and alarm time delay
Notes:
The silent alarm function and the corresponding output signal are only active when the function has been activated.
The silent alarm is triggered by entering the opening code, whereby the last digit has to be increased by one.
Example: 0 123456 Normal opening code
0 123457 Triggering of the silent alarm (9+1 -> 0)
After a silent alarm has been triggered, a programmed alarm time delay becomes active. The release time of the alarm time delay is permanently set to 5 minutes.
The alarm signal can either be signaled and connected via the EloXT expansion unit (relay output) or via the adapter p.c.b. EloAdapt (open collector output).
The triggering of a silent alarm is also saved in the event log.
The silent alarm and alarm time delay functions can also be programmed with
the PC software CombiComm.
