Operating Instructions Safari™ Series
Keep this manual for future reference. If you sell this stroller or give it away, make sure you give this manual to the new owner. Ask them to read instructions completely.
IMPORTANT: Tires are shipped deflated, DO NOT OVERINFLATE. Please inflate slowly, with short bursts, to 20-25 PSI maximum. 25 PSI will provide a comfortable ride for your child.

Safety Rules:
WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and assembly
instructions could result in serious injury or death.
· Immediately discard any plastic wrapping.
· Never allow children to fold, assemble or disassemble the stroller.
· Maximum weight capacity for the Single stroller is 50 lbs. or 22.7 kgs. Double is 100 lbs or 45.4 kgs. However, the weight of one child should not exceed 50 lbs. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous, unstable condition if this load is exceeded. Maximum height of the child shall not exceed 38” or 96 cm.
· Stroller is not for use with children under 6 months of age.
· Never place child in the stroller with their head forward and feet rear ward unless they are placed in an approved infant carrier that is made specifically for this stroller.
· Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use seatbelt.
· Never leave child unattended.
· Never use this stroller with roller skates or in-line skates.
· Never allow stroller to be used as a toy or allow children to give rides to others.
· Never use stroller if it becomes damaged.
· Always be aware of traffic around you when walking
· Always engage brakes when you stop or when you let go of handle.
· Accessories or parcels placed in or on the stroller may cause it to be come unstable.
· Maximum weight for objects in bottom basket is 5 lbs. or 2.2 kg. Rear pouch is 2.2 lbs or 1 kg. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous, unstable condition.
· To avoid burns, never put hot liquids in the parent or child tray.
· To prevent tipping over do not place more than 2 lbs or 1 kg on either parent or child tray.
· Child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use in a reclined carriage position unless T-shield/ waist strap placement has been re-adjusted.
· Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the product to prevent finger entrapment.

Tools Required: Phillips screw driver.
Unfold Stroller
Remove all packing material and dispose of it properly. Release storage latch located on side of stroller. (Figure A) Grasp frame as shown and open until the side latches engage (Figure B).
Rear Wheel Assembly
Turn stroller onto its side. Grasp rear wheel in one hand, slide wheel’s axle into hole in rear of frame (Figure C1). Check to see that the wheel is properly inserted by firmly pulling on the wheel, the wheel should not come off if fully inserted/ locked. Repeat for other side. To release wheel, push up on axle release lever and pull off wheel (Figure C2).
Front Fender Assembly Turn stroller upright onto its rear wheels, tip stroller back so the handlebar is
down on the ground and the front fork is up. Align the fender’s tabs with the holes on the front frame. Insert the included screws into the hole and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver, repeat for the other 3 holes (Figure D).
Front Wheel Assembly
While the stroller is still tipped back, attach the front wheel by loosening the wheel’s quick release (Q/R) lever on the front wheel far enough to allow the axle to slide into the front fork (Figure E). Align the tab washer’s tab into the small hole on the outside of the front fork. With wheel’s Q/R lever in open position, hand tighten the cone nut until almost tight, then flip the wheel’s Q/R lever backward to the closed position to lock wheel in place. Note: this step may require minor ad­justment until the Q/R lever flips back with firm pressure. Pull outward on wheel to ensure it is locked in place. Note: The black hex nuts should be on the inside of the frame. These are factory set and should not require adjusting.

To unfold stroller:
Release storage latch located on side of stroller (see Figure H2), continue unfolding until side latches engage.
To engage rear brakes: Step lightly on the center brake bar or directly on the brake to engage brakes. To disengage, lift up on brake bar. (Figure I)
PROPER USE OF SEAT BELTS & SHOULDER STRAPS: WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out.
Always use seatbelt. Place child in seat. Make sure T-shield is between the child’s legs.When child is
seated, place shoulder straps over the child’s shoulders. Slide waist straps through lower loops of shoulder straps, bring lap belt
ends together and clip into place around child’s waist. Adjust waist and shoulder straps for snug fit.
SHOULDER HARNESS
The shoulder straps for the harness are adjustable depending on the size of your child. The shoulder straps are used with a loop system that puts the straps at 3 different sizes. When the strap is under both sets of loops (Fig 1), the smallest length of strap is able to be used for smaller children. If more slack is needed back the strap out from under the bottom loop and lay it over the loop (Fig 2). If still more slack is required back the strap all the way out of the loops for the maximum length of the shoulder strap (Fig 3).
Installing Child Tray (single)/Napper Bar (double)
Position the child tray/napper bar as shown with the tabs on the bottom. (Figure F1) Push in until tabs lock in place. To remove child tray/napper bar, push up on bottom tabs and pull off tray.
WARNING: To avoid burns, never put hot liquids in the trays. To prevent tipping over do not place more than 2 lb. (1 kg) on the trays.
Step 6. Installing Parent Console
On single model: Snap the parent tray onto the handle bar aligning the tray’s holes with the handlebar’s knobs as shown (Figure F2).
On double model: The parent pouch will have a flap with two snaps. Wrap the flap around the handlebar at your desired position and fasten the snaps.
WARNING: Always remove child from stroller before folding. To fold stroller:
On single model: Pull the one-hand-fold handle toward the stroller handle and the stroller will automatically begin to fold. (Figure H1). Continue folding, pushing frame together and hook the storage latch (Figure H2)
On double model: Slide the lock button to the left while pulling in the folding lever (Figure H3). Continue folding, pushing the frame together and hook the storage latch (Figure H2).
NOTE: There is a secondary folding mechanism to prevent accidental folding lo­cated near the left wheel on the frame. Push this lever down to release the frame.

To recline seat:
To recline, pull on the center ring of the recline buckle on back of the seat to the desired recline position.
To place seat in upright position, hold the 2 cords and push up on the recline buckle located on the back of the seat; you may have to push on the ring to lock the cords in place.
WARNING: Child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use in a reclined carriage position unless T-shield and shoulder strap have been re-adjusted to the new seat position.
To adjust handle height (Single models only): While pushing the handle buttons in rotate handle to the desired height. (Figure L)
To adjust the child leg rest area:
Pull up on the side levers and adjust leg rest to the desired height (Figure M).
To lock the front wheel from turning:
Flip lever on the front wheel to keep the front wheel from turning. To unlock, flip lever opposite way (Figure N).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Check fasteners after one hour of use; check all fasteners to make sure they are secure. Adjust if necessary. Periodically check the stroller to ensure that it is in good operating condition.
To adjust the stroller from pulling to the left or right (not rolling straight): Loosen the front Q/R axle and point the front wheel in the opposite direction the stroller is pulling, then tighten Q/R lever.
NOTE: Sometimes it is a very slight adjustment to eliminate the pulling and this step may need to be repeated.
To clean seat and canopy: If light cleaning is required, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap then air dry. Do not put in washing machine. Do not put in dryer. DO NOT BLEACH.
To clean frame: Wipe using a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Air dry. DO NOT USE polish or abrasives.

This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser for non-commercial use and does not cover tires or tubes, grips, brake shoes, or other wear part, ordinary wear and tear, abuse, misuse, neglect, rust, theft, or damage due to accident.
