SPECIFICATIONS
CAPACITY- Capacity varies with the size of the dishwasher utilized in the system to a maximum of 330-20"x20" racks per
hour. Will accommodate 22" wide trays in open end rack.
DESIGN- Can be used in both left to right and right to left operations. Loader and unloader can each be used
independently or in combination with each other.
CONSTRUCTION- Pan constructed of 16 guage type 302 18-8 stainless steel with all welded construction. Both loader
and unloader are furnished with a 10" backsplash and a 3" rim roll. All moving parts with exception of rollers and pusher
are covered with a stainless steel panel.
OPERATION- Powerloader- 3 powered rollers with an operating speed of 10 surface feet per minute. Rollers powered by
a chain drive operated from a 1/15 H.P. motor and reduction gear combination. Power Unloader- 2 powered
rollers with an operating speed of 10 surface feet per minute plus a simultaneously timed rack ejector. Rollers are
powered through a chain drive operating from a 1/15 H.P. gear motor. Ejector powered by a 1/4 H.P. motor through a
reduction gear and sprockets and protected by a safety clutch to deliver a stroke of 15-20 feet per minute. Stroke is fast
enough to push the clean dish rack out and reposition the ejector to receive the next rack as it leaves the dishwasher.
MOTORS- 1/15 H.P. motor furnished with power loader. 1/4 H.P. and 1/15 H.P. motors furnished with the power
unloader. •Motors are standard frame, squirrel cage induction run type, 60 cycle, 1750 RPM, internally fan-cooled with
ball bearing construction.
DRAIN- Drain connection required for power loader can be connected to dishwasher at factory when specified. Drain
for unloader is connected to machine.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Section A
The Insinger Power Loader and Power Unloader is designed for rack conveyor dishwashers used in tight corners where it is not
possible to have extended dirty or clean side disabling.
The Insinger Power Loader and Power Unloader is designed to be used with any Insinger Rack Conveyor Dishwasher.
A.1 PLACEMENT
A.1.1 Carefully uncrate the loader and/or unloader. Take caution to not damage components which may be mounted on the
top or sides of the machine.
A.1.2 Set unit in place. It may be necessary to fasten the Power Loader/Power Unloader to the machine before machine
installation due to limited work space.
A.1.3 When shipped with a machine Power Loaders remain attached to the machine. When shipped with a machine Power
Unloaders are shipped in a separate carton. A 1-1/2" drain connection is required.
NOTE: To minimize the possibility of leakage between the machine, loader or unloader, and tables use a silicone
sealant when installing these units.
A.1.4 Fasten the Power Unloader to the exit end of the machine by placing the lip of the unloader over the tank flange.
A.1.5 Align the mounting holes in the Power Unloader with the mounting holes pre-drilled in the dishmachine.
A.1.6 Fasten with three (3) 1/4-20 S/S screws with locknuts and washers provided.
A.1.7 With the dishmachine in position and leveled, adjust the feet on the Power Unloader to tilt the rollers back
approximately 1/8".
A.1.8 Connect the Power Unloader drain piping to the exit end of the machine.
A.1.9 Connect wiring to the termination box located on the frame of the dishwasher. Be sure the wire numbers correspond
with the numbers on the terminal blocks.

A.2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
A.2.1 When provided with a dishmachine the Power Loader is factory wired to the dishwasher controls.
A.2.2 The Power Unloader requires minimal wiring. Connect the wires provided in the conduit to the termination box located
on the frame of the dishmachine.

By following the operation procedure and general cleaning procedures your Insinger Power Loader/Power Unloader will provide
years of trouble free service.
B.1 Operation Instructions
B.1.1 For best operation all dishware should be evenly distributed on the rack. The units operate best when fully loaded.
B.1. 2 The Power Loader and Power Unloader operate automatically with the start-up of the dishwasher. Simply place the
rack on the rollers and it will be pushed into the machine by the Power Loader and ejected from the machine by the
Power Unloader.
B.1.3 After ejecting a rack the Power Unloader automatically resets into the starting position and is ready for the next
rack.
Note: Dishracks must be in good condition for proper operation.

MAINTENANCE and REPAIR PROCEDURES
Section A
Following is a basic guide for the repair and replacement of common Power Loader and Power Unloader parts.
A.1 MAINTENANCE
A.1.2 Weekly
A.1.2.1 The entire unit should be wiped down using an industrial grade stainless steel cleaner.
A.1.3 Quarterly
A.1.3.1 Clean and oil both the Power Loader and Power Unloader drive chains.
A.1.3.2 Adjust the loader drive chain by loosening the two bolts which secure the adjustment bracket (P/N 820 -16),
moving the bracket down to remove excess chain slack then tightening the bolts.
A.1.3.3 Adjust the two Power Unloader drive chains located below the roller pan. One chain moves the rollers. The
other chain connects the reduction gear shaft to the rear shaft of the pushout chain.
A.1.3.3.1 Adjustment is done by loosening the hold-down nut for the adjustment bracket then sliding the
idler to eliminate excess slack.
A.1.3.4 The pushout chain also has an adjustment located inside the roller well. For adjustment refer to Section
