
Operating instruction DUOMATIC 50 A
The DUOMATIC 50 A timer is compatible
with all standard switch programmes with
50mm x 50mm cutouts (in accordance with
DIN 49075).
Reset Mode
ATTENTION!
This appliance is not intended for use by
person (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.

Attention: when the timer is switched on for the first time, or after a long
interruption to the power supply, the timer can only be operated after internal
tests are ended (approx. 10 s.).

Operating the timer
Inching mode; or STOP when motor running

Activating the programming mode
Changing the operating mode (manual mode;
automatic; random automatic)
Initialising the appliance (new start); appliance is
reset to the factory settings
Programming the timer
Time blinks. After new initialising and RESET the
factory setting blinks (=> 12:00h).
As soon as the UP or DOWN button is pressed
the display stops blinking. If the UP or DOWN
button is held the time display accelerates up to
half-hour steps.
Current UP time is displayed. UP arrow blinks.
After new initialising: factory setting UP time
(=> 07:00h).
If the UP or DOWN button is held the time display
accelerates up to half-hour steps. UP arrow
blinks.
Current DOWN time is displayed. DOWN arrow
blinks. After new initialising: factory setting DOWN
time (=> 21:00h)
If the UP or DOWN button is held the time display
accelerates up to half-hour steps. DOWN arrow
blinks.
Exit from programming mode; time and selected
mode are displayed.
Factory settings
If the RESET button is pressed all values return to the factory settings:
Daily programme: UP 07:00h, DOWN 21:00h

Pressing the Mode button switches through all possible function modes
successively. You can select from 3 modes:
man Manual control
auto Automatic (daily programme)
Automatic (daily programme) + random generator
In the automatic mode the shutters are raised or lowered automatically at
the programmed times.
Touch the direction buttons (about 1 sec.) to slant the blind slats. The
system remains in the Automatic mode.
If the random generator is activated the programmed UP and DOWN times
are moved back randomly by 1 - 31 minutes.

The appliance's mounting dimensions of 50x50 mm enable it
to be installed in most standard switch programmes from
leading switch manufacturers.
For this purpose the timer's combination frame has to be
replaced by the respective manufacturer's DIN subframe or
cover frame.
The following table contains a selection of matching
intermediate subframes.
Because all manufacturers have their own colour ranges
slight difference in shade between the appliance and the
subframe / cover frame may occur.
Information for the electrician!
Please use a deep switch box to install the timer. Make
sure that the cables do not stop the appliance from
clicking in place correctly.
